    First time attempting pork belly burnt ends i used this video. Used some Brown Sugar Bourbon and a little bit of maple syrup in your glaze recipe. I brought em to the family Christmas Eve dinner and they all could not believe it was my first time doing it! Amazing video Heath!

    Finally someone who doesn't turn pork belly into a 6 HOUR COOK!! 1 or 2 I've watched 3 hours total. But a lot are 6 hours, that's ridiculous. Great job

    I’ve done these a long time ago following Mr Reed recipe and they were darn tasty, if I do say so. My family isn’t a fan of spicy food especially my wife, would you recommend using your sweet rub or honey rub in place of your sweet chipotle rub.

      Of course you can switch rubs but honestly once these were cooked they weren’t spicy to me. I don’t like really spicy myself either!

    After you let the sauce tack up, how long do you let them rest for?

      Probably about 15-20 minutes. Let them cool down a bit.

    Great video. I have some bourbon powder that I’ve been wanting to use. Can I substitute the bourbon powder for the real bourbon? If so, how much do you suggest I use?

    I've always wanted to do a pork belly my ex co worker would do some and they were great. Just got me a ironwood885 about a month ago. So far I've done 2 brisket, steak skirt and some wings all came out great. So this weekend I'm doing a pork belly burnt ends and settled on your recipe hands down looks the best can't wait to eat these.

    Never understood pre oiling meat. That fat will create a barrier stopping the salt penetrating the meat. Its not needed for making the rub adear. Won plenty of trophies without using any oil
