In Colorado some of the fishing rules are confusing too. “You can use live bait on this stretch of river, but not this one. However, you can use live bait on this stretch 6 days after a full moon, or 2 days, 7 hours before a new moon. Or, during leap years you can use live baits on every 31st day of the month as long as the barometric pressure is falling.”

To catch a "Wiper" on top water get a Heddon Sara Spook in G Finish Blue Shad or blue and chrome. They work great as long as you learn to "walk the dog" with them. Keep the videos coming Young Mr. Stache! P.S. Give your pretty little woman a hug from an old Mountain Man.
You are right. Topwater wipers is about the most fun you can have. I used to catch them topwater every Saturday and Sunday in June. Need to go try that again...
I've watched for YEARS but I feel like your accent comes in stronger now idk if it's the new camera or mic? I know 1 thing either way your living most of our dreams!
Come to CT and get some striped bass and bluefish on top water! You will have a new love for it! Let me know if ya ever get up north! I’ll take ya out!
To catch bait fish, the best thing I found is a tiny hook and just the tiniest piece of a slim jim. Like half of your pinky nail. The oil in the slim jim gets it coming like crazy and it is tough so you can catch multiple on one tiny piece.....
When i was younger, we used to use little black salamanders we called waterdogs, and the largies and striper would murder them. We used to just cast em out, leave a little slack and wouldn't take long for the line to go taught. My pb is on a 5-6in water dog Edit, kfc chicken skin is bluegill kryptonite
I remember when Ben and Josh were fishing this place. And a guy drove by screaming Josh's name instead of Ben's and I was like. Yeah...Josh made it. That was like 6 years ago 😆
@@PigPatrolTV nebraska has got some dumb ones like cast nets, noodling, trout lines, jugging, and no whaling. They have a rule that I can’t go whaling in Nebraska. Dude I bought four packs of your baby walel to take with me up to Minnesota first walleye and Pike trip hope I slammed some walleyes with them and smallies👍🙏
What's a decent reel to run with the mid light 6 6 rod? I've been running a Shakespeare 7ft pro lite with a Shimano syncopate. It seems to work pretty well. I haven't had any issues. I usually run 8 to 10lb mono. There's a trout spot where I live that would take some long casting. I thought if it would work. Either way I've had the rod and reel setup for prolly 3 years. I'd like something new also have something I can catfish with and bass fish at the same time
You’d have better luck tipping the whopper plop with corn. I think the sun hits the kernels just right to trigger those green carp into eating. Massage me for more tips if interested
I remember, i remember, i remember you slipping down this spillway years ago. What a classic
I remember that too
Me too 😂
I've learned to jump over the slime 😂

Nothing better then a top water explosion!

Saw this on my UA-cam notifications and actually got so excited. I enjoy your videos and appreciate You and your channel...Keep up the great work!!!
I will do my best!
You refrence Mr. Dance, a lot... and yet no "bloopers" episodes...
That would be a good episode
I agree where are the set up classic bloopers that everyone loves!!!(No sarcasm) Bill dance is my guy!
The video when he fell in the lake would be the best blooper. Nothing against you Josh but people falling is always funny

Awesome we are back to the fun little spillway by the highway good stuff!!!!
Thanks for the video Josh. Don’t give up on the Bobby- Boy! (Actually you should do whatever the heck you want )

I always look forward to your videos, my dude. I'm incredibly inspired

Josh, really miss you and Benjamin fishing small spillways, always enjoyed those videos!!Thanks for videos?🎣🎣
Sadly a lot of the small ones got filled in 😢

Me as well, but almost five yes
Appreciate you guys sticking around ❤
Good luck comes to all that wait. Good job on all the fish this time
Right spot right time.
I don't care who you are, when a feller is catching nice Bass consistently, Excitement!
It was decently fun I guess
I got baby whales from watching your channel. It's my go to now for everything by me! Bass, crappie, perch. The small mouths go crazy for them

@PigPatrolTV let me know if you are in south central kansas near the oklahoma border. I'll turn you on to them.
Not just you and nebraska. In Missouri finding specific area regulations can be a real struggle.
7'6" or an 8' ML Xtra fast would be sweet!
I'm thinking like 7ish. Still want it to be manageable for folks with cars.

30 lashings for Bobby boy

Another awesome video well done some really nice fish
Good job and Fantastic narration as always,Where Mrs Spankyou? You two kids fishing together always better.
You need to do a largemouth catch and cook just to make the bass purists have a mental breakdown( if you havent eaten them they are really good)
I've had them, they're delicious. I might just do that.
i remember some old videos with Ben here. has it been that long. damn

I've heard good things
