When I do reiki it amplifies my ability to see auras. After several sessions I dont have to even try. Then even inanimate objects have auras and I can see them in complete darkness.

Dear Friend, With out Principle in our life the life becomes not less than Animal instinct ..We should have our life based on certain principles and have some divine virtues in our life...So every person who learns Reiki should behave according to the Principles of our Life...I will not be angry, I will not worries , I will behave in the way I would like that the others should behave with me...and love all the living ...either it is Bird, animal, or any Plants even...I will have respect for all the living beings ... This is glorious, been searching for "reiki master teacher certification" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Reytaice Reiki Redemption - (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my mate got great success with it.
