How to Attune Yourself to Reiki

- Reiki is a healing energy that is freely available to all. Attunement ceremonies can be very helpful but they are not necessary. If you are ready to get started on your journey as a healer, you can attune yourself today!
In this video, I explain a little bit about reiki and guide you through a self-attunement. Remember that reiki is always with you!

I found this interesting because I do feel the same. When my 20 yr old son was diagnosed with cancer, my hands began to get really hot. I thought it was maybe anxiety at first, but they were never sweaty. I would give him massages to ease the pain and often my hands would naturally come to rest on his back where his lungs were. He would often say, "mom, your hands are so hot" and I’d reply "than they’re great for massages, no heat pad required." He eventually passed due to toxicity to his lungs from the chemotherapy. As his mother, I acted out of pure love and wanted to provide comfort. I later learned that I was giving him reiki instinctively. After his death, I sought a reiki healer because the intensity of grief felt crippling and I needed help to release some of the pain both emotionally and physically. It helped me tremendously and I then began to learn reiki so I could help others professionally if I choose. For now I give reiki for free, but time and transportation is not free either, as we live in a material world and can not nourish our bodies on energy alone. Getting certified is more for show so that others feel I am educated in the practice, but I ultimately know we all have this ability. In my time of need, my love for my son responded to my sons needs. That is proof to me that we don’t need a certified healer to give us this ability and if another reiki healer disagrees, then I question one’s ego to think the title of master healer is above us all. We are each other healers. Being in the presence of those that love us is healing. That is the energy of reiki, LOVE ❤️
I am so sorry for your loss. Agreed! Your unconditional love for your son definitely amplified your natural healing ability (imo). At least you were with him and helped ease his pain in those challenging moments. Sending you and your son so much love xx

Can relate. My literall whole life, around people, my hands would get hot as fire. Took forever for me to figure out what was going on. An attunement later, went from fire glow to more like flamethrower...more directed. Later another attunement helped the healing be even more directed.
i absolutely love how the first 2 minutes of this video was validating the teachers who make attuning/teaching reiki their lives. this is the kind of characteristic that i believe reiki is all about. it’s about love, sharing, and mutual benefit.

This is a fantastic video! I am a Reiki Master and teacher and have been helping and attuning people to Reiki for 20 years. The very fisrt thing I tell any student is that anyone and everyone can practice Reiki. Some people prefer the guidance of a teacher and some find another path. I am always thrilled to teach people, but I'm not the key. Tuning in to the universal energy is.

I did a self attunement while fasting and meditating/praying. I then had a opportunity to help my girlfriend (now fiancé) to heal some very deep rooted traumas. It was such a beautiful experience. I became clairvoyant and could see the negative energy/trauma removed. I created a sort of vortex after opening the door to outside and pulled blew all that energy out of the house.
Did you heal the traumas with reiki or something else?
I took a Reiki master class myself thinking that was the way to go. Then I wound up teaching my daughter what I do in 30 minutes or less. No need for a class unless wanted.
It's interesting how many "healers" seem to have sought out this video to make negative comments.
The video doesn't discredit the traditional practices, yet it seems those stuck in their ways are attempting to discredit the idea of self attunement.
If it's "not possible" to attune yourself to reiki then somebody better go back in time and tell Dr Usui that...
Personally I consider the fact this guy is trying to spread healing without a price tag a really positive thing and something the world needs more of

I have always known I am a natural healer/fixer and struggled with the fact that so many believe that you need a piece of paper to use your gifts. I have noticed that when I try and do things according to a set "guidebook" I don't feel the energy as strong and when I follow my intuition. Our gifts come from within and that is where we need to pull from. Go directly to source and don't believe you have to cripple yourself with going through others to "attune" yourself. This video is amazing and I appreciate you for putting it together. I needed this reminder that I am powerful on my own. Namaste

Reiki teachers/masters are charging $800 & up to be attuned, so this was a breath of fresh air. I do believe everything has a price & people do deserve to be monetarily supplemented/blessed but it should not be highway robbery and then say you’re doing it out of love. Thankfully I recently found a Reiki Teacher/Master who is not charging me an arm& a leg now that indeed is a blessing as I was not in the position to pay $800-$1,500 for a 2-3 day course.
I'm doing Reiki level 2 at the moment. I'm loving it. I also loved what John said . I always felt that Reiki was freely available and self attunement made total sense. the first teacher i had approached me and asked if she could teach me. When i asked her why she said, 'because i can see that you are a master already , and i would love the honour of being with you to open the door' She was a wonderful woman and a great teacher. I had many attunement s after that and have a number of master papers. Now i 've been alone for some time and i'm quite sick (immune disorder) and wish to have this re-awakened - to have the door opened again.

Gosh, thank you so much. I have been thinking about reiki off and on for years. I wanted to get professionally attuned but have always hesitated. I really want to help people and animals and I do believe I possess a small amount of healing ability. Tonight, I found out my cat's cancer has come back so I asked for reiki to come through me to her for the highest good and to completely heal her. I am going to rewatch your video again right now. Let me share my own experience too.
I go to Bujinkan martial arts classes and one day my hand was hurt and I was in pain whenever I moved it.
That night I sat down to meditate as always and all of a sudden I got this idea to try and heal myself. I made an energy sphere and then put my hand on the place that hurt.
The pain was gone.
I had no master and no practice yet it happened and I believe that everyone of us are blessed with this energy and we do not have to pay for what is already ours.
It is said that if you believe you can do something, you can do it.
So do not let anyone tell you that you are incapable.

Thank you for being honest and for sharing this attunement with us. I learned transcendental meditation in 1971 when the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi sent his emissaries to college campuses. It required a ceremony during which you were given your supposedly unique mantra that you weren't permitted to ever share with anyone else. At the time and even at my young age, I felt that the ceremony was a bit "woo-woo". Years later, I understood that it wasn't at all necessary to have this initiation and the TM practice can be easily taught without all the woo-woo. Same thing here, as I see. So thanks again. It is much appreciated.

I found Reiki by UA-cam and it worked on me big time. I've done a lot of yoga and I don't think I need any "attunement". Once I felt it I was attuned. I do it to my cat and she loves it. I do it to myself as well.

I’m new to Reiki and had tears in my eyes after doing this attunement. I’m a skeptic, or rather was, as I feel better after doing a Reiki session after this attunement. I have long COVID and bed and chair bound for the last year and struggle to recover. I believe Reiki is going to make a difference. Thank you for posting this gem of a video ❤️
Thank you. I agree with this. I do not like being told I have to do this or be that to practice. Most everything that we have ever been taught is self taught by someone else. It was first taught to us directly by source ...if we WANT to learn it...for some people to say you cannot do something because you have to join a group or pay someone to help you do it is almost against the principle of its purpose to of being a gift for all.
I'm attuned to reiki level 3 and I absolutely agree with you. Anyone can tap into it. I believe that the attunement process makes it stronger. Mikayo Usui attuned himself so if he can harness it so can anyone

This is so exciting to come across. I've had all of the thoughts you talk about here in this video but didn't know what to do about it. You're definitely a step ahead in trusting your inner guidance. I've been attuned to a few different modalities in the past but chose to de-attune myself because I didn't like the set of limiting beliefs the attunements came with (including the fact I had to have someone else do it for me). You've just blown everything wide open for everyone in this little video--Bravo! As you said, Usui received his attunement directly from Source - no reason at all why we couldn't do the same. Then there is the commitment to the path of the healer and doing all the training/self-improvement, of course, but yeah... you nailed it!
Have you ever heard of HESYCHASTIC PRAYER? As the prayer is repeated for long periods. The heart is slowly purified and then illuminated. Leading to a state of ecstasy and Gods uncreated light. I tired 20 minutes morn and night for a week. I felt as if I was in another dimension. Mind-blowing, The experiences get stronger everyday. Meditation music helps.
We are all source energy. We have it from birth or we wouldn’t be alive. Im not sure how it works but I know I’ve felt it without this before so it has to be possible.

Thanks for taking your time to make this video! It's much appreciated. My intention here is only to get people to think, with the hope that they'll reach a deeper understanding of true healing, not just of Reiki per se. We're all attached to our own beliefs and experience in our our own ways, and this very attachment is the ultimate seed of all disease. The soil in which this seed grows is the belief that healing comes from "out there" somewhere, that the ever-present, universal healing energy available at all times somehow must be given to us from a "healer", that it doesn't actually reside within us. It's already present in abundance within us. The truth is that we are the very healing energy that we're searching for. The ultimate healing power lies in letting go of the belief that we're separate, isolated entities in need of external healing. At best, an external attunement or transmission of energy by another offers us a temporary reminder, a remembrance of who we really are, which is beyond all suffering. Being in the presence of a truly grounded, calm and loving friend or a revered, beloved teacher provides us a mirror, reflecting back to us our true nature, which is beyond any need for healing. But as good as this makes us feel, even it is temporary and fleeting and its up to us to continue the moment to moment practice of staying attuned to our innermost self, following its guidance.

I learnt this amazing technique from a spiritual guide, which lead me to states of ecstasy and illumination. HUMILITY will open the door. Try asking the Archangel Michael to help you pray a rosary. Acknowledge your faults and if you show humility. The door will be opened to you.

I had a strong feeling that this is attainable within prayer/meditation on your own with the proper intentions and compassion, but one thing I am noticing is the next day practicing reiki, is that I am exhausted and dizzy and need help to ground, which is why it's beneficial to have a mentor to ask for advice to protect your own wellness after a session of adjusting someone elses energy

I think it's important to recognize that Reiki stands for the energy and the modality. The modality is a set of simple Protocols that Usui, through all his spiritual development, gathered together so that it could be as simple as possible for everyone. The modality of Reiki does include Reiju or attunements between the greater spirit but also opening to the oneness that is shared with other human beings.😊
