If you want a planar, perhaps the NiceHCK F1 Pro or the Artti T10. Both are sub $100. If you want more detail, the F1 Pro. If you want something close, but more budget, the T10, it's value is pretty compelling. Vortex has all four of these on his squig for direct comparison.
Dudu is the name of the dog of Berlusconi, when he was alive... of course it couldn't do that good as an IEM :)) thanks for the review! I love the S08 more than you do :)
I just got the S08 because they had a similar fr to the IE 200 when it comes to treble. I’m a bit treble sensitive so I really like the relatively flat upper region on the IE200 and the S08. I think there is more contrast, separation, and soundstage on the IE200 but its price point makes it only a good (not great) value. The slightly bloated bass and lack of air frequencies are a fine trade off if you’re looking for a sub $100 Sennheiser-ish sounding iem. Plus the extra bass umph and sound isolation is nice if you’re traveling.
"its' just thin, it's very thin" You know what... Over the years I have turned MANY audio professionals and musicians onto the fun and wonderful world of tripowin zonie type cable replacements. Higher core count, multi strand, soft and chubby cables. HOWEVER! I got to handle one of the older Westone IPX cables (the new ones seem pretty much the same from what I can find online) that are reinforced with aramid. They are INCREDIBLY thin and light and pliable, however seemed borderline bulletproof. There's something to be said for the top 1 percent of hyperlight iem cables, just not enough manufacturers doing so due to hobbyist demand/aesthetic.
Are those Westone cables the same as Linum cables? I have one on an Etymotic Evo -- it's kinda cool it's so thin, but it sure do get tangled easily, especially with heavy ear pieces.
@@SuperReview Off of visual appraisal I'd say they're almost identical. I no longer have the westone cable on hand so I can't confirm. As for tangle, I can see that. It was the aramid that made me excited. I get excited seeing kevlar reinforced fiber cables and stuff. This, fortunately, isn't a problem for my westone or my UE users (despite the UE's being CHONKY) as they ALL wrap their ears over under and store them in hard cases. A home user might not benefit as much, but someone who uses ears for active stuff like dancing, working out, or performing music would DEFINITELY see the benefit.
I hopped on the s08 when it was $70, which for that price i wasnt dissapointed. I really like the cable maybe even one of my favorites. Sounds a little too boomy mid bass for me but decent just not ground breaking
I loved my S08, it rumbled like my Mext but wasnt as spicy in the treble. I did enjoy em but decided to give em away to my friend in favour of Explorer having a much better fit on me Im excited to see how S12 2024 does, if its better than S08 to justify the price or if you wouldn't miss out much just buying S08
S08 very inoffensive nice if you go shopping and don't want to be focused on the music, I'm going to sell it back but definitely I'm keeping the cable and the box it's pretty nice 😅
I also completed testing both of these IEMs. DUDU feels like a bit rushed to me, it tries to give a lot but in a complicated manner. Whereas I feel, S08 will be popular amongst listeners and new audiophiles, because it checks a lot of boxes: like planar, affordable and bass.
The Explorer tends to be warm and may suit those who like to listen at high volume and has OK BASS. Honestly, I don't know much about the S08, but watch the reviews to see what suits you best.
What iem would y'all say fits the role of the Dioko these days? I like the description most reviewers gave of it but I'm wondering if there's something newer that is similar to it.
Mark do you think 300-400$ IEM is comparable detail wise with 300-400 headphones? Soundstage is no doubt but what do you think about the other aspects like layering, micro details, imaging, timbre, etc (Let's say aful P5 vs Sennheiser HD600) I know it's hard to compare both but I'm curious since I hate testing fit in IEM
I find it hard to compare IEMs and headphones on things like "detail" and "soundstage." But HD 600 is the only headphone in that price range that tickles me the way my favorite IEMs do. Truthear Hexa is competitive IMO.
I wanna know who at TinHifi thought that Dudu would be a good name for their product. I'm curious to see how the S08 compares to the latest Letshuoer S12, the 2024 edition.
Dudu lived up to its reputation.
I like how you are getting tough on the IEM makers. Thanks for the super review!
Hexa puts a lot of stuff into perspective.

Love to see a low ranking, to be honest. Not many do that, but I appreciate it, as it makes you more trustworthy in my book.
Thanks 👍

Yeah I hear the S08 is doing great in sales, glad people are loving it.

i've been waiting for this
Sounds kinda ominous.
@@SuperReview now you said bass is not good i wish you compared it to the s12 😁

I quite like the Dudu... I did my review on them, perhaps you could say that the sounds is just meh, but I quite like the technicalities it has.
S08 very inoffensive nice if you go shopping and don't want to be focused on the music, I'm going to sell it back but definitely I'm keeping the cable and the box it's pretty nice 😅
I personally love the LETSHUOER S08.
Lotta people do 👍

And S08 looks good! I've heard it's selling particularly well.
@@SuperReview True that. and I think with this a lot of companies will adopt 13.8mm planar.
Aful explorer or letshouer s08?

Mark please do a review on Campfire Audio's Astrolith and TRN White Tiger.
I don't know how could you keep saying dudu without making fun of the name or laughing in the video 😂
Came up with an alternative pronunciation and pretended it's not named "poop."

Have all three, P5 for mid bass, hexa for vocals, HD 600 all rounders, and a must-have!
@@SuperReview thanks, the fact that headphones are quite picky with amp makes this harder, I need more research
Is it possible to see a collaboration with you or will you just focus on reviews?
Probably not an IEM.
I wanna know who at TinHifi thought that Dudu would be a good name for their product. I'm curious to see how the S08 compares to the latest Letshuoer S12, the 2024 edition.
I'm guessing they don't speak English well enough to know why that name is problematic.
how do they compare to the dioko? It's also a sub 100 usd iem.
Dioko is a lot brighter with tighter definition all around because of it.
heehee dudu
Sounds like there is some level of unconchability to be found in both. 🙂
It all comes down to the individual conch.
Im just gonna wait for the s12 2025 so that I can buy the s12 2024 on sale.
