    I'm bagging both for now ... admittedly I just got my Stalkers and haven't thrown them yet, while the Undertaker is one of the discs from Discraft that I fell in love with immediately. We'll see how my bag shakes out once I get more time with the new (to me) mold.

    Hard to compare these discs to each other and pick a winner. The undertaker is definitely more of a driver for distance, while the Stalker I use as a 'longer Buzzz' for those 'in between' shots where I dont feel I can reach with a mid, but I might overfly with a 9 speed fairway. I have a King Z Stalker that that has enough fade to be flicked and used for hyzer utility shots in between the zone/raptor. Then I have a Pierce Ti Stalker that is super straight and glides for days. An ESP and a Ti Vulture kicked the undertakers out of my bag for my long fairway driver, after trying 4 different Undertakers over a two year time frame: PMcB 4 and 5 time Ti's that always hurt my fingers on release and they did not glide at all (weird-i know), an ESP that was very overstable and not glidey, and a Z that I liked, but switched it to an Avenger SS for turnover shots.

    Team #stalker! That was weird to say. I dont really carry mids. The stalker is perfect step up from putters for me. I didnt even notice the bead on it for a long time.

    liked the Undertaker right from the beginning of playing 2 years ago. since i don‘t have a big arm, i tried the Stalker as well to match the disc speed to my arm speed - and now i pack both of them in my bag while most of the time struggeling to decide which one i want to throw 😎🤪

    • @CheatingLeftyDiscGolf
      @CheatingLeftyDiscGolf  3 роки тому

      For me when I bagged both, I decided on which depending on how hard I had to throw. If I felt I had to power down on the Undertaker, I would throw the Stalker and if I felt I had to overpower the Stalker, I would toss the Undertaker. Such a great combo!

  • @ForehandDiscReviews

    What Discraft disc would you recommend to hold an anhyzer with forehand?

    • @CheatingLeftyDiscGolf
      @CheatingLeftyDiscGolf  3 роки тому

      Depends on how fast of an arm and how much fast of a disc you are wanting. I know faster arms are able to get Undertakers to hold turnovers all the way to the ground, while most players can get the result with a Sting. If you are wanting something faster than a Sting (speed 7) an Avenger SS (speed 10) or Prototype Hades (speed 12) works as well. If you are starting, I’d say look more at the Sting, while if you are more experienced, look into the other 2 options. I’ve heard the ESP Avenger SS are the flippiest.

    Would it make sense to mirror the footage vertically to show the throws from both a left and right handed perspective?

    • @CheatingLeftyDiscGolf
      @CheatingLeftyDiscGolf  3 роки тому +1

      Ive played around with it, but it just looks odd side by side. If I threw in a field with no trees near the “tee pad” it might work. That is a reason I try to put in a lot of forehand shots, give the “right” perspective 😉.

    • @ReviveNRepair
      @ReviveNRepair 3 роки тому +1

      @@CheatingLeftyDiscGolf Cool that you've experimented with it :) Makes sense that it would look a bit uncanny showing the same footage side by side mirrored, maybe one after another or different throwing spots cold do it. Minimal surrounding objects does sound like a good idea too, but forhands are probably good enough, i'm new to the sport so I can't tell if a forhand behaves exactly the opposite of a backhand :D

    • @CheatingLeftyDiscGolf
      @CheatingLeftyDiscGolf  3 роки тому +1

      Depending what you are looking for. If you want to challenge scrambling and hitting lines, Kaposia is a good option. The Valley is a good mix of tight fairways and open holes with some elevation and it’s near Kaposia. On the other side of the cities, I like Bryant Lake. Very well maintained and has both short and long tees/baskets so good for all skill levels. They are pay to play which the only downside. For free to play, Kenwood Trails in Lakeville, Garlough near the Valley, Brockway in Rosemount and Alimagnet in Apple Valley are all good options!

    Stalker goes surprisingly far (350). More understable than I would have guessed. I had a Ti Undertaker that was very stable and took a year to beat in (then I lost it in the water). Undertaker was a nice straight flyer once seasoned. Both good discs.

    I never really got the stalker. It feels weird in the hand and has essentially no glide (Which is probably the reason it flies so straight). Its difficult for me to push it past 300 while my undertaker goes 350+ fairly easily.

    • @QactisX
      @QactisX 3 роки тому +1

      @@QactisX Not really because I felt like I had to throw it really hard to get it to go anywhere for me. I'd rather just throw a buzzz or an FD because they both have more glide making it easier to hit lines since I don't have to throw as hard.

    • @CheatingLeftyDiscGolf
      @CheatingLeftyDiscGolf  3 роки тому

      The difference in distance is definitely due to the faster speed of the Undertaker, but that is a bigger gap than I would expect. I know for myself the issue I have is the Stalker goes just as far as my Buzzz, so I have quite a bit of overlap (hence why Stalkers are not in my bag currently). But for bigger arms, they can better take advantage of the speed gap than I ever could!
