Instead of milling out that large radius in the vertical position, and hogging out that excess material with that many step-downs. Could there be the option to rough mill that out on its side slotting back and forth, and keep all that excess? With good airflow to get the chips out of that slot, this method could work.

If more pieces were produced, it would definitely be better, but it's not worth it for one piece.

Thanks. We also use 8330 but only for raw steel. They last maybe 2 to 2.5 hours
