Great stuff! Love how you enforce that sparring is to practice your drills/skills, not to win. No Coach has ever reinforced that enough and too many people get easily discouraged. Thanks for sharing!
I have learned more about how to box properly watching Tom's videos than any other instruction I've received. Had a chance to use this information in real time in a little exhibition match last weekend. This stuff works y'all. Beautiful boxing.🤩
Ezzard Charles did something similar to Jersey Joe. Jersey Joe came in with a left hook and Ezzard stepped back and even a little towards the hook while turning his chin away, in order to get a better angle. And then he threw one of his signature killing lead hooks right back at Joe and it was game over.
This channel is proving me how wrong i was about boxe. A lot of "simple" but effective short movements that allow to save forces and prevent to be hurt while giving you a chance to counter attack. I love this man's way of teaching: I wish I could move so naturally like that guy one day

I appreciate you sharing your knowledge. I walked into a gym at 29 1/2. I really appreciate your content. I'd suck more without the knowledge. Thank you 🙏🔥💪♥️ And God bless you
My martial arts master in China used to say there are 3 Fa’s (法) or methods - 做法 = method of doing 练法 = method of practicing 变法 = method of changing/adapting. Love how coach’s short videos incorporate these with explanation as to when and why to adapt. Definitely world class instruction.
Great video. I hope you had a great New Year's. I'm just trying to figure out why this is the second time I don't get your videos. I only found this new video because I searched for your Channel to find an old video and I seen you had uploaded 1 hours ago

Love the channel. Another great move to practice. Just a question/talking point. Why did bigger taller orthodox fighters have such a hard time landing their right hand on Manny Pacquaio? As a lefty dealing with the right hand has been an issue. Slipping it is difficult. I find myself just moving away from it all the time but can't close the distance as easily against the taller guy as a result. Tips on how a southpaw can effectively close the distance safely against a taller orthodox opponent would be awesome. Pacman seemed to stay in front of them a lot. Guy was some kind of genius don't see him constantly circling away from the orthodox right hand.
I'm a proboxer in Europe I fought so many southpaw in my life taller and smaller. I want to give you small tips no advantage being southpaw if you know how to fight😂
Watch pacquiao against De La Hoya bruh. Pacman is baiting him to come in. He used to stay too far away making Oscar step in and timing him on the way in.
This video should have way more likes.

The best “ step back” I’ve ever seen was by Holyfield in the last 10 sec of round 10 when he rang Tyson’s bell and made history.
