Will definitely check these out! Sounds impressive Robbie. Thank You. ❤️🇦🇺🦘
Thanks so much Gail. 👍
I noticed several times you had to push your glasses back up. I wear glasses too, and here's what works for me! Get a tube of Clear Silicone Seal and put a dab on your fingertip and spread it on the frame of your glasses where it sits on your nose, as well as the parts that rest on your ears. Let it dry overnight, and when you put them on the next morning, they won't slide down your face. If your face gets sweaty and slippery, just wipe the siliconed areas with a warm wet cloth to get rid of any oil from your skin.
Great idea, thanks mate. Wearing glasses drives me mad. LOL
A great job of product review, Robbie, enjoy your new fridge👍. Cheers buddy, take care and stay safe
Thanks so much mate.
I'm looking forward to you maybe doing a review of the fridge during one of our hot summer days. Another great video Robbie👍
Great idea. Thanks mate.
Funny, we just started looking at getting a portable fridge for our trips. Great honest review and as you said, only time will tell, but a 2 year warranty is a great start and some piece of mind.
Thanks so much Larry. I hope that you are all doing OK.
*peace of mind
Thank you
Great review, you are a very intelligent man. Thank you for sharing. God bless youns.
Thank you so much for your kind words Becky. God Bless you too.
We use the Top USB plug for a flexible USB Powered Light. When the door is open, we bend the light to shine down into the fridge, then when we close the lid, the light shines down on a cutting board we put on top, so you can see what you're cutting.
Hey mate, that's a great idea.
G'day rob
Very nice , looks smart and going on what you said an ideal piece of equipment for the outdoors.
Thanks rob and hope your in top form .
😎🏴
Thanks so much Michael. I'm going well thanks mate, but would you believe I choked on a hot lie and burnt my throat. LOL That will teach me to chew food properly.
Other than that all is well here. I hope all is well with you too mate.
Nice fridge, Robbie 👍🏼 and a great review, mate.
Thanks so much Wayne. 👍👍
Great review Robbie well explained
Two year warranty is great
Thanks Peter.
great stuff mate i have several 12v fridges engal which i had in truck for years still going strong but uses more power than the cheaper ones now days you can but a 35lt for $300 50lt for $400 where my engael cost me $1200, 20 years back, i take the cheapo ones out hunting and camping use less power and are lighter nothing wrong with the cheap ones had mine for 6 years now still going good, only $300 to $400
Thanks so much mate. This was a lot more economical than my smaller 14lt Engel. I mentioned it, but didn't want to put too much emphasis on that point out of respect for Engel.
@@robbiefishing true mate engal are proven time after time, i think the others are catching up but you can not compare the price difference realy , and depending on its use my engle lived in the truck 24/7 for years and still going strong not shure if theres $400 ones would do as good as a $1200 one but ive used my cheapo ones a lot in the bush on 1 week hunts , camping etc and they where good , you did a good review as well
Great review mate. Safely say the lock function is handy for keeping your cans from been pinched by no byo mates lol
Hahaha thanks mate.
Read the shipping rules before ordering!
Nice review. For my needs, I just need a regular cooler - but nice on ya mate, you scored a free portable fridge.
Thanks mate. To be honest that is all that I take most of the time. I only take my fridge on full day trips or extended trips. When I just head out for a few hours I just take an eski with ice bricks.
Hey Robbie great vid was just wondering if u think lake William hovel is currently fishable or is the water too high
Looks good mate. 12v fridges are a great thing
Thanks Gary, you're not wrong mate. I have used my old one for a number of things. This one seems to be more economical than my old one despite being 7 litres bigger. Well it does in the cooler months anyway.
Awesome looking unit...and the Fridge...😆
hahahaha Thanks Biffo, I certainly am a unit. LOL
Great review mate. Good and honest.
I think a few drone shots and music would make a difference 🤣
Hahahahahaha and some high quality B-roll. 😂😂
@@robbiefishing gotta have the B Roll
Good review mate looks a flash bit of gear 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks Cam. 👍👍
Hey Robbie, did you have the same display issue on the ecoflow with the bougeRv as you do with the Engel?
Hi mate, great question. I was going to mention this and totally forgot.
It did fluctuate, but nowhere near as bad as the Engel. The Engel bounces between 7 and 107 watts. The BougeRV was fluctuation around 35 and 45.
Just a question did you pre cool the engal too!! The same as you did this fridge ??
Hi mate, I never ran the Engel as a timed test, it was just an observation. It doesn't have a wall socket so I wouldn't have pre cooled it inside, but when I run it in my car I run it through my eco flow which has pass through charging. It's charging while it is being used.
So essentially yes, it is ore cooled when I take it fishing because it cools down on the way.
Cool ..... 😎
Cold in fact. 😂
Hey Robbie i might have missed it but how many amps was that for the 27 hours
Hi mate, I'm not sure sorry. I know the Ecoflow river is 288kwh capacity. I'm not overly tech savvy. It was drawing around 13volts the few times I checked.
Love your work Robbie but I try to avoid made in China products, it is difficult at times 🥴
Im looking for another car fridge im going to have a look at these definitely. But can you run off a Lithium battery?
Thanks mate. To be honest I have no idea. I ran mine for 27 hours off my Ecoflow. Is that a lithium battery? I wouldn't have a clue. LOL 😅
You can run any fridge off a lithium battery. The battery is just a DC (direct current) power source. The fridge itself doesn't give a stuff where the DC power is coming from. DC flooded lead acid or DC AGM (absorbed glass matt) lead acid is all the same, it's just DC electricity. As long as the voltage specs of the battery fit in with the appliance you are good to go.
@@robbiefishing hahaha now you got me really puzzled 🤔. I do love my lithium battery in my car but gees what ever you do if your going to get one don't put under the car bonnet they melt so easy
@@markholly3757 sweet cheers for the heads up. I've got 2 lithium batteries set up in my ute for duel battery I run everything in it light's and all you name it just the other day my fridge gave up good advice on them batteries is never put it under the car bonnet they hate the heat
@@chriscoyne4827 It's just different chemistry mate, but FAR FAR superior, you can discharge all the way down, with lead you can only go 50%, and it's half the weight, so for the same weight you have 4 times the power output, which is fantastic for boat trolling motors, 4wd's etc. But you need the correct charger to charge it.
Might want to fix your title Rob!
Thanks mate, I just did. Someone else also pointed it out. Nobody would ever find the video of the title is wrong.
@@robbiefishing Correct!
Near my place
Looks good mate might give it a go cheers
If i put ice-cream in there and keep it unplugged would the ice-cream stay frozen for about 8 hours ?
If it's unplugged, I doubt it very much. If it's plugged in it will definitely keep it frozen.
BougeRV doesn’t send return shipping labels…
Hello robbie
Hi mate.
If Peter from family guy was Australian
Fridge out doors!
Haha
Any fridge has gotta keep ya tinnies cold. 🍻
Haha absolutely..
ECO will break in better and you'd freezer will last more years on ECO. It is one of the lowest watt sippers around.
Thanks mate, I was blown away by how long my little Ecoflow River ran this for. Twice as long as my 14lt Engel. Since filming this I have used this quite a lot and it hasn't missed a beat.
BoughRV in the title, should be BougeRV.
Oh whoops. Thanks so much mate. I will fix it right now. Thank you.
Never has any disclaimer
Hi mate, I ran through a quick disclaimer right at the start where I said that it was sent to me to film this review.
In the US "bouge" or "bougie" is usually meant to indicated something expensive/fancy with no real increase in function. Like chrome spinners on a beat up '97 F250. Redneck bling. It comes from bourgeois
Ahh OK awesome..so a BougeRV is is like a.Recreational Vehicle with dints, rust, scratched paint and mag wheels. Haha 😂
@@robbiefishing yep something like that lol. People who go 'glamping' are bougie.

Thanks mate. It's not too high. It's definitely fishable, but has been fishing quite slowly lately.
