    I noticed several times you had to push your glasses back up. I wear glasses too, and here's what works for me! Get a tube of Clear Silicone Seal and put a dab on your fingertip and spread it on the frame of your glasses where it sits on your nose, as well as the parts that rest on your ears. Let it dry overnight, and when you put them on the next morning, they won't slide down your face. If your face gets sweaty and slippery, just wipe the siliconed areas with a warm wet cloth to get rid of any oil from your skin.

    We use the Top USB plug for a flexible USB Powered Light. When the door is open, we bend the light to shine down into the fridge, then when we close the lid, the light shines down on a cutting board we put on top, so you can see what you're cutting.

    great stuff mate i have several 12v fridges engal which i had in truck for years still going strong but uses more power than the cheaper ones now days you can but a 35lt for $300 50lt for $400 where my engael cost me $1200, 20 years back, i take the cheapo ones out hunting and camping use less power and are lighter nothing wrong with the cheap ones had mine for 6 years now still going good, only $300 to $400

      @@robbiefishing true mate engal are proven time after time, i think the others are catching up but you can not compare the price difference realy , and depending on its use my engle lived in the truck 24/7 for years and still going strong not shure if theres $400 ones would do as good as a $1200 one but ive used my cheapo ones a lot in the bush on 1 week hunts , camping etc and they where good , you did a good review as well

    Hey Robbie, did you have the same display issue on the ecoflow with the bougeRv as you do with the Engel?

    • @robbiefishing
      @robbiefishing  Рік тому +1

      Hi mate, great question. I was going to mention this and totally forgot.
      It did fluctuate, but nowhere near as bad as the Engel. The Engel bounces between 7 and 107 watts. The BougeRV was fluctuation around 35 and 45.

  • @smokeingcrowswithrobbo995
    @smokeingcrowswithrobbo995 Рік тому

    Just a question did you pre cool the engal too!! The same as you did this fridge ??

    • @robbiefishing
      @robbiefishing  Рік тому +1

      Hi mate, I never ran the Engel as a timed test, it was just an observation. It doesn't have a wall socket so I wouldn't have pre cooled it inside, but when I run it in my car I run it through my eco flow which has pass through charging. It's charging while it is being used.
      So essentially yes, it is ore cooled when I take it fishing because it cools down on the way.

    • @robbiefishing
      @robbiefishing  Рік тому

      Thanks mate. To be honest I have no idea. I ran mine for 27 hours off my Ecoflow. Is that a lithium battery? I wouldn't have a clue. LOL 😅

    • @markholly3757
      @markholly3757 Рік тому +2

      You can run any fridge off a lithium battery. The battery is just a DC (direct current) power source. The fridge itself doesn't give a stuff where the DC power is coming from. DC flooded lead acid or DC AGM (absorbed glass matt) lead acid is all the same, it's just DC electricity. As long as the voltage specs of the battery fit in with the appliance you are good to go.

    • @markholly3757
      @markholly3757 Рік тому +2

      @@chriscoyne4827 It's just different chemistry mate, but FAR FAR superior, you can discharge all the way down, with lead you can only go 50%, and it's half the weight, so for the same weight you have 4 times the power output, which is fantastic for boat trolling motors, 4wd's etc. But you need the correct charger to charge it.
