Transferring via the MicroSD is not at all archaic and should still be used. It is much much faster than transferring over the network. Technically FTP and SSH are older than MicroSD. It’s about whatever Is the quickest and most reliable way to move data. Even with multi gig local network speeds and it’s still faster to transfer via MicroSD.
Not wrong on speed, but it's definitely not the quickest route. Having to get up, go to a PC, take out the sd card (which causes wear on the spring), use an SD card reader etc. to transfer one file is not faster than just doing it over wifi. If we're transferring thousands of files, I'd agree, but for one offs and normal day to day changes, taking out the sd is archaic in my opinion.

After android emulations on phones and PC i have used to bind R2 to save state L2 to load state, it really handy, especially in middle of battle with bosses, and overall. It was really huge disappointment that OnionOS forced me to use Menu+R2 combination, without possibility to change to single button, change to Select+R2 bit better, but anyway not handy. So this one of majority pros of Android, i can set any shortcuts on any buttons, in games where all buttons used i just place save-load shortcuts on screen near fingers, which again much more comfort than this awkward combinations.
I can tell you the comparison for gta on p2p vs android is insane, android literally looks on par with ps2 but higher frame rates where as this console isn't even able to emulate ps2 and the psp version is about half the frame rates and 1/4 the resolution...
Very decent video. I wished you covered the part where files don’t crossover when switching. A lot of things are very glitchy and thank god there’s a community for these things.
Unfortunately most of the ps1, psp, dreamcast, games i tested in android get less fps than linux on tge device. Which is why i never even boot it up anymore.

Hey, awesome! So the RG353V does both Android and Linux. Android boots without an SD card inserted. The best Linux OS for the 353V is ArkOS - RGC has a great video on it: ua-cam.com/video/48nDciXdn_g/v-deo.html. Not much you can do ahead of time besides source your roms and get them ready and just watch that video + the ArkOS wiki.

Android in my opinion more easy to setup than Linux, sure its take time but consider Android version basically just smartphone with controller its should be more easy for everyone who already familiar with their smartphone than Linux and booting time should be not problem coz I usually treat my Android device just like my smartphone which I barely turn it off, I just put it in sleep mode and only turn it off few minute in a months to clean everything.
Android all the way. For me. The cheat codes in standalone emulators (Snes9x, Drastic etc) are the most important, followed by being able to play Rom Hacks. Don't know what's Linux, don't care anyway. I just play on my mobile phones.

Its will be better if we can just plug in USB C to transfer data than take out the SD card just like how my old walkman phone adds new music.

If Android had the EmulationStation frontend, maybe I would prefer it over Linux. In my opinion it is WAY better than Daijisho.

I want to put an sdcard in Android mode to play on emulators, but Android does not recognize the sdcard, how to solve it?
Format as Fat32 or exfat, or have the android device format it, but if it's not being recognized, do the first suggestion on a PC.
How's the comfort for linger game sessions?

I just tried using my bluetooth speaker on my rg405m. There was almost a 2s audio delay.
