Yup he has departed from Gospel back in April and has launched himself into Pop and Reggaeton. I'm pretty sure I've read that he came out as well, so that may have also contributed to him moving into a different direction.

he lives in Colombia and sings in Spanish.he recorded
some gospel albuns and got famous in the whole Brazil but always singing gospel.
He also recorded in spanish, about two albuns and got well known in some countries in South America.
In 2014 he was indicated to the latin Grammy
Awards as best Gospel albun in portuguese language but didn`t win. He got golden and platinum records.

Haven`t seen this in years. But seeing it again, this must be one of the best vocal performances I´ve ever seen
Caraca, sempre assisto ela junto com Márcio Guerra e outros profissionais de canto... e ouvir ela dizendo que ele se parece com o Dimash pela capacidade vocal, como se fosse um adulto treinado como profissional é muito satisfatório!! É uma pena que o Brasil não valoriza quem realmente merece.
É por isso que os norte americanos estão sempre na frente não escultam besteira sabem apreciar coisas boas e principalmente as valorizam!

He was participating in a Brazilian talent show. His family had wanted him to go on other shows, but the shows did not approve of him singing gospel music. So they waited until this opportunity. He was so bold in his singing and won the show. Please listen to everyone who wants you to react to his duet with Michely Manuely. They were competing against each other, but both sang gospel music. Raul Jil, the director of the show asked them to sing together, so they performed a song they both knew by heart. It might have been set up, but according to my digging and from watching the show, it was improvised. I know this performance is amazing, but it pales in comparison to that duet.
