It means as a couple you guys are spending 50k/month in Kolkata?
In Calcutta a 2 BHK apartment is almost 80/90 lakhs. Nothing is cheap. I have lived in Bangalore for 12 years and apart from the real estate, nothing is cheap in Kolkata. For a decent living a single person needs at least 50000 here.

@@csupra7bro it's not LOL. my CTC with the lowest bonus is 40 LPA . I have bought an apartment which is almost 1 cr in Kolkata. I do not find Kolkata to be cheap at all. Real estate in a gated society is very costly compared to the salaries

4000 ration for the whole month
3000 Electricity
5000 monthly outing total 25000 per month

Why the share of the rent is only of 10k n him paying a wholesome 17k every month on rent… Shouldn’t it be be 13.5k rent both of you? Just asking
I pay for other things like househelp and groceries which adjusts the overall expenses. Every couple has different type of budgeting. Not everything is 50-50 all the time. :)

I pay for other things and cover the utilities like househelp and cook. :) My partner makes twice the amount I do so it was his decision and its just fair. Hope I'm clear.
