I saw a lauderbachiana at the SUPERMARKET but I couldn’t buy it because it was -23 (-9.4F) and I shop on foot. Even the very short distance it is from me seemed too far.
@@GetPlantyWithIt def get it! It's super easy. I grow mine in just sphag and lightly fertilize every other water and it's always working on a new leaf 😊
I think I’m in the minority but I’d rather have mealies than any other pest. 😂 they’re actually a bit fascinating to me. I can’t handle crawlers, they just sit there like a hungry little marshmallow. It is disappointing though. That Alocasia is BEAUTIFUL.
I am unsubscribing from your channel since you threw your alocasia in the garbage, you could of gave it away to someone....pests are part of being a plant collector.....thrips will be your worst nightmare.....Plants are living and the mealy bugs did not damage any of that plant.....if I was the seller I would of told you too bad.....I am unsubscribing now.....
Thanks for your feedback! I was worried about it infesting the rest of my collection so I made a decision to not keep the plant. Obviously everyone is entitled to their own opinion and can decide how they want to manage their own plants!

I would absolutely take mealies over anything else without a doubt. I find them very easy to get rid of. Spider mites are the worst to me
