Just saw 2 web episodes for The (Fabulous Furry) Freak Brothers. Makes me wonder if they read any of the actual comics or if it's based on some later day resurrection of the title. The characters personality and attitudes don't really match the comic.
I agree I really wanted to like it but really didn’t recognise the characters plus it just wasn’t funny. Great cast, beautiful artwork but just not funny and turning the cat up to 11 made it even worse. Shame.
@Bigfootlover69 they were the episodes from the series posted for free to try and pull new viewers as the show wasn't doing well. A pilot is the single episode used to sell a show idea to a network, this on the other hand was after the show had been picked up, shot, premiered, and released. The jokes were bad, the direction was wrong, and the characters were off. It seemed the IP was just being used rather than celebrated.
