One day the Messenger of God went out looking for Zayd. Now there was a covering of haircloth over the doorway, but the wind had lifted the covering so that the doorway was uncovered. 𝗭𝗮𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗯 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿, 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗲𝘁.

And it is not fitting for any believing man or believing woman when God and His Messenger have decided on a matter to have read takūna or yakūna a choice in their matter in contravention of the decision of God and His Messenger. This verse was revealed regarding ‘Abd Allāh b. Jahsh and his sister Zaynab whose hand the Prophet had asked for in marriage but meaning on behalf of Zayd b. Hāritha. They were loathe to this proposal when they found out that it was on the latter’s behalf for they had thought that the Prophet s wanted to marry her himself. But afterwards they consented because of the following part of the verse And whoever disobeys God and His Messenger has certainly strayed into manifest error. Thus the Prophet s gave her in marriage to Zayd. Then on one occasion 𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗲𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗿 whereafter when he realized that Zayd lost his affection for her and so said to the Prophet s ‘I want to part with her’. But the Prophet said to him ‘Retain your wife for yourself’ as God exalted be He says.

Narrated Anas: Zaid bin Haritha came to the Prophet complaining about his wife. The Prophet kept on saying (to him), "Be afraid of Allah and keep your wife." Aisha said, "If Allah's Apostle were to conceal anything (of the Quran he would have concealed this Verse." Zainab used to boast before the wives of the Prophet and used to say, "You were given in marriage by your families, while I was married (to the Prophet) by Allah from over seven Heavens." And Thabit recited, "The Verse:-- 'But (O Muhammad) you did hide in your heart that which Allah was about to make manifest, you did fear the people,' (33.37) was revealed in connection with Zainab and Zaid bin Haritha."

When he noticed that (there was no response to his movement), he got up, and the others too, got up except three persons who kept on sitting. The Prophet came back in order to enter his house, but he went away again. Then they left, whereupon I set out and went to the Prophet to tell him that they had departed, so he came and entered his house. I wanted to enter along with him, but he put a screen between me and him. Then Allah revealed: 'O you who believe! Do not enter the houses of the Prophet...' (33.53)

the whole story is a myth. Zaynab was like 38 years old, a grannie by that historical period in Arab World, where women were moms at 16-17. Zayd was like 45 and Muhammad was in his 50ees. It was not a Brazilian telenovela with passionate triangle, but some boring political well negotiated marriage for some societal change among older individuals without a drop of hormones left.

This was the main reason I left Islam. This story was never mentioned to me at school at home or anywhere else. Later on, I was reading about this story from the Islamic sources and hadiths as I was always curious why Zayd is the only person mentioned in Quran out of all Mohammad’s friends and that was the biggest shock in my life! And then I came into realisation on why they never taught this at any Islamic institution. How can they ever explain this verse or this story anywhere as it’s so shameful and disgraceful to any human being and against all sense of morality.

Many many Muslims I personally know my own neighbors and my college classmates left Islam and completely started a war against all Muslims and Islam despite growing up in a very religious environment and being Muslim all their lives. I was so scared I thought once what if I become like them all? Then I realized that they all started sinning ,
sexual relationships with partners worshipping their lovers ,illicit erotic films, masturbating etc. I literally took at least several dozen interviews of ex Muslims and I swear every one of them were involved in some kind of sin. Yes some Muslims sin too but maybe they forget or repent really sincerely or feel so guilty that somehow god still keeps them inside religion because of their remorse but these people were proud sinners and they all I mean every single one of them left god and His religion. And I think these people are sexually active and still in islam are too dumb to obsess over sex. So please don't be upset at me and follow my challenge for one year to 5 years and come back and tell me if your heart is still the same. It’s not worth it to lose a true religion because of worshipping some lover. Every lover will take another lover the day you die. Why worship their body and leave religion. Why not try my challenge? You can fool everyone but never yourself or God. God only wants the purest heart to worship him and thus he makes everyone who is obsessed with selfish desire or lust or too much worshipping of other humans and too less love to leave the folds of his religion.

Let me remind you of a popular episode from the story of Krishna's youthful years at Vrindavan, known as Gopi Vastraharana ('theft of the gopi's clothes'):-
When young unmarried Gopi(s) of Vrindavan used to go to take a bath in the river they placed their garments on the bank and dipped into the water completely naked. The portion of the river where the Gopi(s) took bath was strictly prohibited to any male member.
Then Krishna, along with His friends, appeared on the scene and immediately collected all the garments of the gopi(s), climbed up in a nearby tree, and with smiling face began to speak to them:-
"My dear girls," He said. "Please come here one after another and pray for your garments and then take them away. I'm not joking with you. I'm just telling the truth. I have no desire to play any joke with you, please do not come here all at once. Come alone; I want to see each of you in your complete beauty, for you all have thin waists. I have requested you to come alone. Now please comply."
When the girls in the water heard such words from Krishna, they began to look at one another, but they could not come out of the water because they were naked. Due to remaining in the water for a long time, they felt cold and were shivering.
They began to tell Krishna, "Dear son of Nanda Maharaja, please do not joke with us in that way. It is completely unjust to us. You are a very respectable boy because You are the son of Nanda Maharaja, and You are very dear to us, but You should not play this joke on us because now we are all shivering from the cold water. Kindly deliver our garments immediately, otherwise we shall suffer." They then began to appeal to Krishna with great submission. "Dear Syamasundara," they said, "we are all Your eternal servitors. Whatever You order us to do, we are obliged to perform without hesitation because we consider it our religious duty. But if You insist on putting this proposal to us, which is impossible to perform, then certainly we will have to go to Nanda Maharaja and lodge a complaint against You. If Nanda Maharaja does not take action, then we shall tell King Kamsa about Your misbehavior."
Upon hearing this appeal by the unmarried gopi(s), Krishna answered, "My dear girls, if you think that you are My eternal servitors and you are always ready to execute My order, then My request is that, with your smiling faces, you please come here alone, one after another, and take away your garments. If you do not come here, however, and if you lodge complaints to My father, I shall not care anyway, for I know My father is old and cannot take any action against Me."
When the gopis saw that Krishna was strong and determined, they had no alternative but to abide by His order. One after another they came out of the water, but because they were completely naked, they tried to cover their nakedness by placing their left hand over their pubic area. In that posture they were all shivering. Their simple presentation was so pure that Krishna immediately became pleased with them...
