A very pretty piece for sure, and compared to the Tissot PRX I'd take this one, both miss their markers but this has that SARB vibe to it but on a budget. Look forward to the review
Yeah bit of a shame really but its a tough call. If I had hands on with the new upcoming smaller PRX that would make for an interesting comparison. Thanks mate
@@georgeray649 the comparison is made because Watch Shop sent these into Wes, that's where the comparison comes in. If it was just another quartz watch review than no comparison would have been made. Sorry if I didn't make myself clear on my comment and hope I've cleared that up
Nice and slim watch, slightly reminiscent of the SARB but a little slimmer of course. Surprising to see a sapphire crystal. My impression was the second hand did not hit the markers.
It really super slim and yeah a bit like a baby sarb. The markers hit some miss some, seems to be my luck at the moment with quartz. Thanks for watching.
@@WesWatchRoom I was probably a little more fortunate. Unfortunately, the conclusion is that it is not the repeatable quality of the Grand Seiko. Greetings from Poland.
Mate, if you're on a dress watch kick and like the look of the sarbs and sary, which are not totally totally dress watches imo cos they still have sport watch elements to me. Do me a favour though and make sure you check out the citizen nb1050 series. I know for a fact you'll love that watch. In many ways I think they are better looking than the sarbs (and Ive had 3 different sarbs) and I know you wanted a sarb. They do them in black, white and blue. Stunning looking watches. Especially the white and black. Look just like the £2000 citizen chronomasters at less than a quarter of the price. They are automatic, 38mm, sapphire. The lot. I've been itching to pull the trigger on one for a little while now but been knocked off course a little by my recent Willard, coke pogue, and Lorier buys. Anyone that wants a sarb but don't want to pay the price, go for the citizen nb1050. They are lush.
Thanks for the suggestion mate and that is beautiful and packing a 9000 series movement too. Might have to a browse on ebay and see if i can spot a good deal on one.
Not sure there is a difference to be fair, but I could be wrong. I also did a review if you want the full specs as I don't recall the battery life off the top of my head. Thanks
I've been really enjoying my Speedtimer Solar Quartz. It's very accurate and only loses a couple seconds a month. However it's too nice to wear to work. Been looking for a Seiko quartz everyday wearer. Any suggestions?
Nice, I'd love one myself and everyday wear, depends on where you work. If its an office then something smart casual like the larger version of this its the same spec same price but 40mm. Bit less formal, solar and still quite classy the SNE437P1. The flighty (SNA411P1) is a really solid offering too, been wanting one for ages myself. Last one, the seiko SSC769P1, bit unusual but so cool and feature packaged. Hope these help.

OP killer
Fantastic looking watch and have not heard of this shop before so thanks for pointing that out Wes.
I concur and its UK based but I believe they do ship globally. Thanks mate.
These are one of the best quartz watches for the price, with design like Grand Seiko they are very pretty.
Absolutely, its like a grand baby grand seiko. Thanks for watching
Stunning watch seiko does have great dress watches in all different prices
They really do, just about something for everyone. Cheers mate.
Nice finishing, slim, sapphire; there is a lot to love on this one. Waiting for your full review mate!
Absolutely, loads to like about this one. Thanks
Looks fantastic and super nice for a daily. I can picture on some natos and Barton straps. Congrats on the NWA
Thanks mate, appreciate that and it probably would look nice on a nato or leather.
That's a good-looking Seiko! I really like the profile. Congrats on the new watch :)
It certainly is and this is just a review watch I'm afraid, don't think its staying, more than likely has to go back. Thanks
@@WesWatchRoom Ah, bummer. Well, I hope you enjoy the watch while you have it!

comparing this watch with the prx? don't know what to say. Seiko is losing its quality standards. you can hear jingle bells wearing this Seiko.

My watch hits the markers perfectly. Almost like Grand Seiko 😉

Yo-you ulpoaded superb vlog, fellow.)
Thank you
I'm getting this piece tomorrow. Picked it up for $150 CDN! For a Seiko with sapphire that's not bad.
That's a really good deal and you're right for a seiko this affordable to have sapphire is impressive
Lol. I actually bought my uncle a Seiko sur009p1 a few Christmases ago. It's his birthday on Xmas day too.
Nice, what an awesome gift. Thanks for watching mate.
Nice. I have a blue dial version. Pretty amazing value
That's awesome, and absolutely, really good value piece
Looks like a great alternative to the sarb.
Absolutely, like a baby sarb. Thanks mate.
nice looking watch, Seiko certainly seem to be making the most of the SARB style case shape, good to see a sapphire crystal.👍
Agreed mate and yeah I think they're trying to make up for the fact that SARBs are so expensive now. Thanks for watching
I have the same watch had seen it bigger in pictures but it is absolutely a good watch. rolex killer
It definitely is a beautiful piece. Thanks for the comment and for watching
Because it's says SUR319P1 on the tag which is 36mm dia
Nice watch, look forward to your take on it....🏴⌚🏴⌚

Excellent video but the watch model number in the title should be SUR319P1 instead of SUR309P1.
Very nice
Agreed, thanks mate.
Quite nice :)
Agreed it really is. Thanks
Looks Sarb very nice 👌
Yeah it does have a bit of a look doesn't it. Thanks
I see also like sur449p1
Is it good compare this ?
I don't know as I've not had one as of yet.
What’s the difference between this and the non p1 version? Also I heard you gotta replace the battery every 2 years or so …
