Cant believe he's gone, seemed like he was gonna be here forever, every year, he would show up and watch his sport with a smile, rest up bill.
Unbelievable, together with the other Celtics legends that passed throughout the years. They're now playing together once more, and met Red.

RIP he was one of the smartest players I still remember an old tape of him explaining that to make a block you dont swat at the ball you meet the ball quickly so you can get the ball and get it up court quickly
Loved Bill Russel. In highschool I wanted to be like him. I wasn’t as tall but I wanted to block shots like him. I’m no baller but he gave me a love for the game. That’s what it’s all about.

Liked Jaylen Brown's sentiments and the footage of Bill's career, activism, relationships, and life. Felt there should have been more of that. Didn't much care for the "poem", reeked of overly prideful BLMism worship non-sense. Bill was a tremendous player and a humble giant, but don't put him on standing with the Lord. What a letdown! That was so underwhelming. Jalen’s words were lacking, so he had to ask for validation in the form of applause. The poem was silly, and obnoxious. The song was poorly written and carried a very shallow and generic message. This gives me second hand embarrassment. Bill Russel deserves a lot more than that.
