@@annakquinn7084 I agree we shouldn't call people stupid, and if you have Blender and paid addons, and you are familiar with the flow, you can make this in about 5 minutes, including Booleans in Blender. Without the addons, it would take much longer unless you are a wizz like the creator of HardOps or Chip Walters. I would say the addons needed to do this at the same speed or better in Blender would not cost as much as the Indie Plasticity, however manipulation and fixes in Plasticity seem much better because you can get all messed up in Blender with vertices and all that crap, plus you wont get amazing tangency as easy in Blender. But yah, to each their own.
@@theslicefactor4590 nah he's not cheap and lazy bro. His English is limited I think so that was just him expressing how good it is and it came out a little pompous but he truly means well.
As a new Plasticity enthusiast I've come to prefer it for a slice of modeling chores. But it will never replace Blender for even half of my overall modeling tasks. They are different types of tools. Your video thumbnail is click-baity and your language is immature.
if you export that to a dcc app what is your polycount going to be to retain the integrity of the model? Noone can argue the quality of Plasticity models, but Plasticity is a single purpose tool(I'm not knocking it, just saying) it is hardly a replacement for any dcc app
Schade das du nicht in deutsch machst. Denn das englisch ist so krass deutsch...😂...SPaß beiseite. Ich werde es mir wohl auch holen. Ist schon sehr nice.
Great tutorial! Would you recommend treatment of 3d text inside Plasticity too? Or do the cinema 4d Motext and remesher tools offer a superior workflow?
That's the worst thing to say 😅 I woud rather use both Plasticity and Blender. The right way is to have Blender Curves and have Plasticity as Blender Addons. I still use Blender and "stupid". But I also purchased Plasticity.
Great tutorial. But I've seen videos of people creating things much faster in Blender. Not necessary to trash another app and calling people stupid.
Until you have to boolean

Agree, one does not have to be bad for the other to be good or useful, this youtube seems to do it for attention 😮💨
He's just doing what so many other UA-camrs do which is generate controversy in order to get clicks rather than rely on good content. Cheap and lazy.

Plasticity is $149+. Blender is FREE.
And his courses are overpriced too

Whilst you may have a point on your blender comparison to some extent, calling people stupid.. is plain “stupid” and childish on your part.
The king of PR😁
how would i import a stl file to edit??
It took you 5 minutes and $149 plus tax to create this small sci-fi prop. Lol.😂 This could have easily been done in blender for free in 5 min.😂
torrents. you know)
YYYAAAAARRRRRRR
The offset surface should have the same handle as offset curve. It’s very buggy and u have 0 control.
When i imprint, it always imprints in blue for me and the blue lines don't join with the black ones on the body
where did i go wrong?

I love your enthusiasm for Plasticity.
Love the Thumb 😁! Awesome work! I reall have to try Plasticity.

Yes Plasticity has basic 3D text implementation as well and works great.
You could do this is Fusion 360 for free with the ability to go back and adjust the changes
I laughed soooo hard at “then you are absolutely stupid” 😂😂 great work as always 🙏🏼

Why are Blender users always so triggered?
This is the internet. Everyone is triggered.
