SO THERES A THEORY GOING AROUND THAT THE THING THAT CAUGHT ZENO'S ATTENTION IS THAT WOUND FROM WHEN YONA ACCIDENTALLY SHOT HIM. HE SEES IT BC IT HASNT HEALED AND REALIZES THAT YONA IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN HURT HIM, SO THEREFORE, YONA IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN KILL HIM. this is his reason for attacking Hak, he wants to antagonize Yona. What kills me about this is the fact that if Yona does stab him, (unlikely, but possible, considering how the series is going) she'll do it with the thought that he can recover from it, but he wont.
ALSO goes along with the hiryuu pointing his sword at Zeno thing, so.
Agreed with this. Hiryuu pointed the sword at Zeno too. Yona can kill him with the sword.
That theory does work.
I also liked the chapter. I'm still not sure how this will be resolved, some people say that Yona's vision won't be fulfilled because she stopped Zeno's attack, but I have my doubts. Zeno will definitely fight as long as Yona kills him, he did all this for that purpose, that's the reason why he dropped the sword in front of her at the beginning of the chapter. If the vision is not fulfilled, it will be because of someone else's intervention, but I still don't know how. Personally, I would like destiny to come true, because that would make the story more interesting.
And it certainly solves the problems of everyone in the past looking like idiots if the visions of the future CAN be changed.
I am definitely partial to the stories where fate is fought. That said, I agree that they've written themselves into a bit of a corner here. Yona and Kashi can't both look good, but I guess that's a choice that isn't necessarily wrong. Now, if you're interested in a "fate can't be fought" story, Epic the Musical is all about that basically and amazing. Also, I was getting so mad at Zeno, but I know why he did what he did. But still...
They COULD write it where the Crimson Dragon King is outside of Fate and that is the change but I feel that would have to be set up long ago or be masterfully written at this point to be believable.
I'm really sad, that the manga is going to end 😭. I love it so much and it's so tense how it will be end.
I hope we are getting an end, what really fits to the whole story 🤗.
