  • Stories From The Battlefield
We are excited to roll out a new video series that features all of the different locations that we have taken #WWII veterans back to over the last few years. We have so many wonderful moments and stories that we have collected over the years - we're excited to share them with you.
Our first story comes from Tom Rice, who talks with Donnie Edwards in a foxhole in Foy, Belgium. Tom tells the story of when he got shot twice by a sniper while in this same area on September 22, 1944. It’s absolutely incredible the details that these guys remember after so many years.
Thanks to our friends ‪@sigsauerinc‬ for making this series possible!

It's great to hear their stories during the war, but there are very few videos/articles about how their lives have been after the war. I just hope all the remaining veterans have loved ones around them and care for them

When I was Stationed in Korea 1975/76 when we were in the Field Training we would find Fox Holes look just like that filled in over the years through erosion since the war, we was told not to dig in them (digging fresh Defensive Position sucked) because they may contain Remains or Munitions

What an amazing guy Tom is.His memory is no doubt as sharp as it was 70 odd years ago as a young chap. His descriptions of the events that led up to him being shot twice & surviving is remarkable. The crack & the thud of the 3rd round & the whisling of it whizzing past his head omg he's one lucky brave man.....Someone was definately looking down on him that day...I bet you felt honoured to have met him and to have listened to his story 1st hand...100% respect to him.....
