WWII paratrooper Tom Rice skydives at age 100

World War II Army veteran Tom Rice, who parachuted behind German lines in the Allied invasion of France on D-Day, again re-enacted his paratrooper heroism on his 100th birthday, Aug. 15, 2021, landing as part of a tandem team on the beach in front of the Hotel Del Coronado in his longtime hometown of Coronado. Hundreds cheered his landing and sang happy birthday as other veterans and representatives of France and his 101st Airborne Division sang his praises.
