Keith, could you make a short explanation of grades of steam oil? over here we don't really have grades of oil, just weights, like 20w10 gas engine oil. and others...
I've just had an idea, it seems that every few videos you have to go over you oil mix. Have you ever tried selling it? If people are asking about it so much they might just buy it.
That's good, It would be a good compliment for the Major Beam as you will see in one of the other videos. I think there is a waiting time on them though.

That pressure gauge was beautiful, and quite interesting to see just how much oil was pumping out of the steam engine at the end there

It's a single acting marine steam engine - similar to a 'Monitor" engine.

ptfe tape does not actually stop leaks anyways it is meant to make it easier to remove 40 years later
ptfe tape is that like a teflon tape ? we used it for running pressure tests to check for leaks before putting the unit back into service
Steam fittings always look better in brass, bronze, and/or copper.
I apologize for asking where this or that in your videos come from but where do you get your steam fittings like that brass pressure gauge?
