That's why the original muffler had a shield on it. Cockshutt was the Canadian version of the Oliverthat was painted red. In places you can still see green. I've worked on a lot of Cockshutts because there are lots around here. We bought a 1964 1850 in 1976 for $4500 and pulled a HD 24 ft cultivator in 4th at 6mph. ours is only 2wd. It is still going 48 years later and has had a front end loader on it for the last 30 years or so. Are those 18.4x38 rear tires? Looks good. Our neighbor has one with FWA but won't sell it

I think they are 18.4 38s but I’d have to look to be sure. Thanks for watching! You might be interested in my “History of Goodison” video I did awhile back. Has Cockshutt in it too

In 2011, we needed a MFD tractor to pull a spreader buggy to Top dress urea To Cotton.... Millimont Tractor Company has a European 4240s..... which was the forerunner t of what became the 4250 MFD in he states.... Delivered for $17,500, I bought it, they delivered to S,C. While we were using it to pull a Peanut Combine the engine began to run erratic........ We( my Son and I rebuilt it installing a 4640 engine kit, Turbo, rebuilt head to 4640 specs, Injectors, and 4640 After cooler...... We ceased Row cropping Cotton and Peanuts to deal only in Hay...... The change has idled both the4240s and the 8100/ IH disk used only to prepare land for sprigging future Hay Fields.... Not being Rooster that Crows, and having a subdued You Tube channel..... If you want to see 6 years of progress you will have to look for yourself..... No subscription asked for or required

Your muffler was turned around. Heat shield is supposed to protect the air intake. Nice tractor though!

Yeah I’m not sure what it originally had on it. But yeah the heat shield should help. Maybe people don’t clamp them down, so they turn

@@WisconsinOliverNut at one point I saw a muffler but the heat shield was facing the driver.
