Such a reactionary, knee-jerk take. Tuchel goes through a rough patch to start the season after having to play PR puppet to Boehly flying the guys to LA as opposed to actually practicing and bites Boehly’s bullet. No consistency to pre-season. We finally get a DM and then not even given the bloke his DEBUT?! Tuchel wasn’t even given a chance. If we get Potter after selling Billy G to them it looks piss poor. No chance Silva resigns now. All our great new signings are looking around wondering if the toxic few in the locker room (Pulisic, Ziyech, Lukaku, etc) are to blame and if there’s still a place for them. We’ve been through every top manager with Roman. There aren’t great managers left that haven’t been at the club. Such a shame this happened, really. Big headache today
A wise man once said "Not getting emotionally attached to a manager ever again" ... For real now, TT stole our hearts and they took it away so brutally 😢 For me Mourinho, Ancelotti, Tuchel are forever the best, and nobody is getting in that bracket anytime soon. Sad day... ffs Todd
At least till January! I was one of his critics(of his attacking system) but I never wanted him to be sacked this early. KANTE's absence have sacked another manager again. The next coach needs to find a solution to the midfield problem.
I wanted him sacked before we spent all that money. It's Conte 2nd season again. A bunch of useless signings that bring nothing to the team all to appease a manager the board doesn't actually like.
@@agenttrash1226 A lot of players play better than our players when not coached by Tuchel. Seems even they can't stand Tuchel. Mendy has gotten worse. Koulibaly is completely downgraded himself. Rudi, Christensen and Alonso left. Our defence is being held up by a 38 year old. We couldnt work Lukaku. Auba seems to be back to the same clown he was under Emery. These are Tuchel signings and the team is worse with them. It's Drinkwater, Emerson, Bakayoko and Zappacosta all over again. Good players who did well in their previous clubs but are now wet trash in our kit.
Ruthless is an understatement. It all makes sense now when Tuchel talked about how life was easy for him when he was working with Peter Cech. I think Todd wants a yes man.
I saw Azpi and Mendy having a convo yesterday on the bench and their facial expression told me all. Seems like the players had a part to play. It feels like the players wanted a change of formation Younes.
Chelsea players know all they need to do is just quit & the manager pays the price..... until we give a manager - one who is worth it - the power to push thru bad patches & this nonsense will continue....... We just sacked one of the top managers in World Football who won a Champ League in Dominating fashion w/ our Worst Chelsea team in 30 yrs! #Dumb
Well very smart by them because there gna play the same formation under potter so its complete bs and chelsea players piss me off so much they all teamed up and wanted him gone
@Neo Varley Downes He had a huge squad turnover in the summer so to think everything is going to transition effortless after 5 games is ridiculous ! Mount being voted player of the year also has to do with him being a Chelsea boy . Players should take more pride in themselves and represent their club and not blame everything on the management and act like privileged superstars !
Graham signing giving me Villas-Boas vibes, hope he'll succeed though and break this 2 season curse our managers have (assuming the rumors are true and he does sign with the club).
We don’t deserve Thomas, simple as that. After all he went through to defend this great club we just throw him under the bus just like that… I feel sick 💔😭
Some players have to be singled out for this. This rotten culture with players power has to stop at Chelsea. It started with that a$$hole lukaka. I call Ziyech, Pulisic, Alonso who is gone, thank goodness. There are other players and the list will go on. There are also players who are simply not good enough for this club. Jorginho being one of them. And I'm sorry, I'm not sold on Gallagher at all.
It's hard to take because we all loved Tuchel but everyone could see that he had lost the locker room. These players had no passion whatsoever and a change was needed immediately. Thank you Thomas, wish you all the best in the future!
He's lost just 3 games so far, I don't think even Roman would have done it this early. I think Boehly always wanted to have his own people and Tuchel was the final piece to take off the board
@@solomonadewunmi5622 Not necessarily, the only problem is that we lost our spark and Tuchel had no explanation or tweak in the system to give us hope of regaining it. If TT changed system like Conte did and it became evident on the pitch via results, then maybe he'd still be here for seasons to come
They wouldn't have gotten him all the players he wanted. They would've got their own manager over the summer and got the players. They fell out and results from last season had a say.
I didn't expect this, It is too soon for him to go. I think they want an entire different system for chelsea and Tuchel doesn't fit it. He's served us with a UCL trophy, God bless him for that.
Heartbreaking news , the most shocking sacking in CFC histroy. The players probably gave up on Tuchel a long time ago.. We get a new manager & go through the same cycle again.
That's the sad part. The moment we start having enough support in a manager to the point where he has a banner at the stadium, he gets sacked 😭. Embarrassing.
@Neo Varley Downes Then the players that should have been go not the manager, and some idiot fans need to stop watch football as well. Few bad games and suddenly ask manager to get sacked.
We need a practical manager who will assess the squad and pick the tactics that will work. Tuchel seemed to always be trying to force his tactics down everyone’s throats, regardless of whether it worked or not.
Ask PSG, who have horses up front. You think they were happy with his defensive style game. We have stallions, but let the wing backs and backs be the offense. The player up wingers and forawards can run chasing the ball up front until they have no gas or legs.
This is so frustrating to see, I thought the new owners were different, no wonder Pep said he will never coach Chelsea...zero patients with managers...I'm so pissed😡🤬
Who remembered John Terry talking about Graham Potter in August 23? Hmmmm Sacking Tuchel didn't start last night. But if they wanted to sack him, why allow him to bring Aubameyang? Why not sack him, when the season was about to begin? So that the new manager would chose players ?
I kept telling ppl. The reason why tuchel was playing out of favour players was not his doing. The new owners wanted to see how good every player was. That’s why we saw that during preseason and even after the season started.
To be honest, I saw this coming but I was giving him up to the Liverpool game. TT lost the dressing room, playing guys out of position, and his tactics don't seem to work no more. We look like farmers, it hurts. I wish him all the best!
He let his personal life affect his performance as a manager. Unfortunately for him Todd Boehly, to all of our surprise, is just as ruthless as Roman Abramovich
He was stubborn not to change is still 3 back formation which the players available dislike in some way. Tuchel always played 3 at the back where we all can see some typical clear matches which he should have played 4 at the back and those bad decisions have caused us a lot much, but to me considering things, I think we should have given him time to clear his head from the hard time he passed through because his wife divorcing him and he facing the pressure and tension from the sanctions and ownership change is now hitting him. It's very sad.
Funny how mendy and mount didn’t sign hmm🤔 then again what younes said how we use to play it actually show the time Tammy score the winner against arsenal makes sense
There was that one camera shot of the champions league game verses dynamo where u could see the coach, staff, the players and no one looked like they cared. Everyone looked still
Mixed feelings about this as, while I believe Tuchel definitely deserved more time and it will be hard to find a better manager in theory, if we're honest, there are more than a few glaring, potentially terminal issues; Chelsea have not played well consistently in about 10 months, it is hard to see what Tuchel is actually trying to do tactically or formation-wise, few (if any) players have actually improved under Tuchel, Tuchel's pitchside demeanour is not conducive to building confidence in young players (I'm not surprised they don't play progressive football when the manager is throwing his hands in the air and yelling every time something doesn't come off). We've heard the same criticisms ("lack of precision") from the manager over and over with no sign of a solution. There have long been rumours that Tuchel is difficult to work with and, while he comes across brilliantly in interviews, you can see why those rumours exist. Worst of all, the constant changing of formations and personnel while constantly playing players out of position. There's a reason Ancelotti is so successful; he always starts with the players and builds around their strengths. Sarri and Tuchel are at opposite ends of that spectrum and it is no wonder players get frustrated. Yes, we can justifiably assign some blame to the players and the historical recruitment, but it remains that this is one of the most talented squads in world football and, right now, every single player is playing below their level. So, while it is gutting to see a manager of Tuchel's level leave, especially after he stuck by us in dark times, I look at the team and can't help feeling hopeful because surely there's somebody who can get a tune out of this bunch of players.
New owners have huge question marks, Tuchel was hugely successful given multiple tough circumstances. Only manager who can tactically complete with Pep & Kloop.
Tactically compete with Klopp and Guardiola? You mean Hodgson and Allaydace maybe. Oh wait he couldn't beat that calibre of manager either. He is no better than Benitez post-China.
@@gabrieldenny7174 he’s not my first choice, i think getting a director of football is far more important. Because we have repeated a cycle of getting a manager “his players” then sacking them
TT had enough time. This was a continuation from second half of last season. It’s pretty obvious that he lost the dressing room and at that point what do you do ? He couldn’t make the new players work either. So honestly what were you expecting the new ownership to do. There was no hope of a change in mood within the team.
Exactly my thoughts. Chelsea have been on a downfall since last season with no signs of improving... Guess ppl thought lukakus departure would solve everything
Younes, I think Thomas Tuchel should have been given enough time to study things and at the same time clear his head in order to gain back his confidence...he stood by our side during our hard times and right now we left him behind. I'm gutted as well. This is very pathetic and sad. But in all things, thank you Thomas Tuchel for every sacrifice you made for us for the success you brought to us. You helped us complete the trophy set that we searched for in many years. Thank you my favorite manager currently. You'll forever be in the hearts of full time dedicated CHELSEA fans worldwide. Muchas gracias, adiós TT. We'll miss you for some of the most thrilling feelings and moments you brought to our club and the defending you did for our club on the pitch and in the press conferences. Thank you again hero.
Our hiring & firing culture under Abramovich's regime may have been successful, but it's not sustainable, and at some point, it'll not be as effective either. We'll also eventually run out of quality managers to hire. And players knowing they have all the power would only lead to more disastrous periods when the going gets tough. It'll just be an endless cycle that causes imbalance and gives us awful periods like this. We never learn
I am shocked younes I loved tuchel thanks for everything Thomas bringing silverware to Chelsea world cup I just hope board no what there doing thanks younes for great videos 👍😭
Unis, Tuchel bad run of form continued from last season, we were so predictable and you always say this. I believe it’s the right moment for a fresh mentality in the dugout
Imo, there's a lot of behind the scenes that we dnt knw here TT has fallen out with a lot of our players especially the attackers...a similar thing happened to him at PSG
The vibe from pre season was never right. From what I seen, I thought the football was really bad at the start of this season!!! The players needed a refresh. But you’re right who’s going to take on the football element of the game.
This decision was out of nowhere, I get that the team was out of form but I was hoping that we would go through the growing pains, unless the poor form were to still continue. I agree with you Younes that we have definitely entered into the unknown and we have no clue on where we will go. The board is taking a big risk in their approach and they better know what they are doing. Disappointed in the sacking amd thanks for everything TT, you're definitely up there as my favourite manager for the club.
You guys are forgetting that the season started early. It's 6 matches into the season. Roman sacked Jose 1.0 after a draw vs Rosenborg in UCL matchday 1
I don’t get why everyone’s acting as if tuchel is some amazing manager, he won the champions league from a manager bounce, the squads been invested in massively and he plays such boring negative football the majority of the time, hasn’t challenged for the league when we should be.
This was going to happen sooner or later... Look at everyone that left...the Marinas' the Ceches'...And to only leave Thomas Tuchel...would be naive of us as fans to think he wouldn't go given all we'd seen. But thank you TT for the 3 trophies we'd never won.
I feel I need to note that Todd Boehly has been a long-time owner of a MLB team. He's likely very knowledgeable about managers and how they need to be handled as the team he owns has a great history and lots of expectations on it. That said I can't see him making a truly knee-jerk decision. And the next thing to point out is that the amount of "but Thomas Tuchel led us to a Champion's League win" crying is sickening to an American who has watched so many top level coaches of teams fired even if they have multiple major trophies in their showcase. A win of a major trophy is wonderful, but American sports is all about "what have you done for me lately", and I get a feeling that many Chelsea fans are too enamored with that Champions League trophy. The problem is that American sports have repeatedly proved that one win can be completely meaningless as more than a few coaches have guided their team to a trophy only to fail badly the next season. That history definitely tempered the mindset of Boelhy and his underlings. They aren't going to be patient if things are clearly going bad. Another part of the fact that Boehly has experience in the US sports leagues is that he probably is extremely sensitive to locker room atmosphere and mishandling of players. American sports leagues have players with a ton of influence on the game and on individual teams. A locker room leader matters more than you might understand, and a locker room that gets a reputation for being "toxic" almost always is a sign of a team that loses games regularly. All reports about Chelsea indicate that due to the way Tuchel played favorites with players that the locker room had fractured and the atmosphere has been ugly for some time. That was going to worry an American owner who has seen toxic locker rooms take teams from leading a league to the basement of a division in less than two months of play. And while I know Chelsea fans won't like to hear this one the handling of Pulisic by Tuchel did not help him. I don't know who made the decision to refuse Pulisic's request to be transferred, but the fact that Pulisic is not starting definitely angers many American fans and an owner like Boehly is probably hearing quite a few complaints about how poorly Pulisic was treated by Tuchel. It may be unfair to Tuchel as again, he might not have been the one to block the transfer, but it does end up being a mark against him as I can guarantee that Boelhy is looking at the US market and he understands that the way Pulisic has been treated by the team has a very high chance of turning American fans against Chelsea. That would hurt the team financially in both the short and long run and needed to be addressed. (Personally I think they should have sold Pulisic on, but that's me.)
@@sagarkumarchowdhury9537 actually the opposite, Im a big dodgers fan( the team he owns) and most of us dislike the current manager whos been there for 7 years with nearly unlimited cap money and hes only won one title and lost 2. You do realize that there is difference between premier league and major league baseball. You do realize that Boehly has also fired Mariana, Peter chech, and now Thomas Tuchel. This is a disaster Chelsea will pay for for a long time a lot worse than Manchester United
@@kolyxix And there are differences between MLB and the NBA. Todd Boehly is also part owner of the LA Lakers. Heck there is a difference between any two leagues you want to mention. But Todd has had remarkable success as an owner in multiple sports leagues. As for the firing of Mariana and Peter Check, that is completely understandable. Todd is going to want to bring in his own people to handle the financial decision-making, and that includes how the team handles recruitment/transfers. And don't think that just because someone hasn't had 20+ years working in the Premier League that they can't be good at it. Some of the best scouts in both the NFL and MLB never played the games and learned by watching. heck one of the new head coaches in the NFL basically begged a team to hire him in any position, starting watching film and grew into one of the better tactical coaches around. I suspect Todd will find the talent he needs sooner than you expect. But you need to be a bit patient with the evolution. Its not going to happen overnight.

Hi Younes, good to see you. I really kind of felt this coming because i could see it with the reaction of some players. And for me i think this could have to do with him refusing to sign Ronaldo when Mendez and TB had an agreement. But what i don't get is why did they allow him to get his favorite players when they knew that he will be out? So they wanted to use his good recruitment and then let him go? This is criminal.
They wouldn't have let him buy these expensive players if sacking was on the cards. TB wanted to try and be like Roman spend and manager does his job. TT had all the chances to win but didn't want to play attacking football and in right positions. I don't blame the owners at all they have spent loads of money and expected more from Tuchel
I could see it coming during yesterday match against Zagreb… the players were just so weak and wasn’t going for the win. I love TT and wish him the best. I hope he comes back in the future again
Why have one of the three or four best managers in the world guide us through a club freeze, then give him unprecedented free rein to acquire the players he wants, and then sack him just three weeks into a tough transition period when he doesn’t even yet have his full strength team? It’s the dumbest thing the club has done in my half-century lifetime.
He will be missed, loved the over excited, passion he showed for his team on the touchline.why did Chelsea , make this silly sacking,of one of the best coach in world football yet again
The new players have not settled in yet, they have not yet connected to style of play with the old players. Thomas Tuchel suffered and stood by the club during the sanctions period. He proffessionally handled the situation and survived the top four. I didn't expect this...not this early. Whoever manager comes in will struggle more than the time Tuchel could take to put together the new and old players.
Liverpool where patient with klopp for years ffs and man city are still waiting on pep to lift their first ucl... It was inevitable to be honest. You could see the direction things were heading. He was probably having rifts with the board and looked like he was starting to lose the dressing room. The same patterns were developing that usually do at Chelsea every 18-24 months. I don't think it was purely a decision for football reasons though and there has to be more to it.

TT is a one season wonder unfortunately, and he got exposed at Chelsea and Psg 😭
I agree. I don’t know the reason, but recently…he was so negative and stressed looking.
Facts.. Been noticing it too
Such a reactionary, knee-jerk take.

Nothing to do with Kante

I saw Azpi and Mendy having a convo yesterday on the bench and their facial expression told me all. Seems like the players had a part to play. It feels like the players wanted a change of formation Younes.
Chelsea players know all they need to do is just quit & the manager pays the price..... until we give a manager - one who is worth it - the power to push thru bad patches & this nonsense will continue....... Players should take more pride in themselves and represent their club and not blame everything on the management and act like privileged superstars !
Graham signing giving me Villas-Boas vibes, hope he'll succeed though and break this 2 season curse our managers have (assuming the rumors are true and he does sign with the club).

I can’t believe it. Totally agree. We don’t deserve him.

@@solomonadewunmi5622 Not necessarily, the only problem is that we lost our spark and Tuchel had no explanation or tweak in the system to give us hope of regaining it.

Tribute to Tuchel. He made Chelsea FC.. European Champion and World champions.

Younes you are very correct, i felt the same way. Something had happened behind the scene, the whole players could not lose form at the same time.
Legendary coach but I can understand the decision. 24 goals conceded in first 50 games, 53 conceded in last 50 games. Downward spiral.

You still following him?
I am sorry, but there no world class managers out there. We are back to square one, just like Man-United
Idk what’s happening but I’ve been with Chelsea all my life I will stay with them through thick and thin

This was so harsh man ...TT deserved some more time...players like mount deserved them blame for poor performance

Absolutely shocked and gutted
I think he should have walked away with Marina and Petr Cech at the end of last season
We are now a mid table team without TT, we have to make sure we reach Top6 …
Good luck to him, he has done pretty well until this last days
We sacked tuchel for Brighton coach absolutely ridiculous
You are right Younnes, something else happened behind the scenes. It was not purely performance based.
So Todd is basically the Roman of the west. 😂😂
@@sagarkumarchowdhury9537 actually the opposite, Im a big dodgers fan( the team he owns) and most of us dislike the current manager whos been there for 7 years with nearly unlimited cap money and hes only won one title and lost 2. Hes had so many managerial disasterclasses. Many of us call for him to be sacked yet he was given a new contract

Tell me, if you were to be the one on the bench watching these guys making zero impact and still your coach keeps playing them week-in and week-out how would you feel... You don't think it will cause distress in training and dressing room...?
@@randyatimi4511 so you are blaming Tuchel for that and not the players
The players are professional footballes on huge contract and according to people like you they just get a free pass when they dont play well but the manager gets all the blame
@@Freestyle80 everything stops at his table, so if he had found any player not putting his best then he was supposed to drop that player.
A coach is just like a manager of any business, when you notice the nonchalant workers in your domain, don't hesitate to lay them off or put them on suspension, cause if you fail to do so, sooner the system will turn back and bite you. Players like Mendy, Mount, Jorghino, and a few others have been contributing to our loss this season, but what did Tuchel do, he decided to continue playing them at the expense of others. Also, his stubbornness of always wanting to play players out of their natural positions also contributed to Chelsea's loss of form.
