No excuses can be given to Maresca. This isn’t the first time he’s done this. This defeat was coming cause we’ve been getting quite lucky the last couple of weeks. This performance was shocking especially the second half. It’s in these moments you get your money’s worth, Maresca had to show bravery, bring on Felix, bring on Guiu, even Josh Ach, bring them on because the players were leggy, just walking around they weren’t good enough. Gusto had a terrible game, get Josh Ach on surely he’d be better than Gusto today, give the other lads a chance what more does Felix & Guiu have to do to get minutes in the league smh. Also, Palmer again in the second half was shocking, gave the ball away so many times, he was too causal but no one will say anything again just cause he scored a world class goal. Maresca said he’d take him off in moments like this when maybe he isn’t at his best the second half was the time to bring Joao on but he didn’t. Maresca needs to be careful, this way he’ll create unrest & divide in the team cause he isn’t being fair to the players. maresca and jao felix have fought behind the scenes that is why he doesnt want him to play , this match was screaming for felix , this loss was on maresca for not being bold in making substitutions when he needed to
Jaoe Felix is one of our best creators on the team, the fact that maresca is willing to lose a game because of his personal feelings by not playing him is absolutely disgusting, we can’t have things like that going on at the club, hopefully the hierarchy intervenes and demand some professionalism, we need top 4 this season.
The only difference between today's performance and the one against Everton was Palmers brilliance . Against a well-organised defence Jackson goes missing . Poor from neto and sancho ,they did a few good things here and there but overall poor . Whatever you say about madueke ,he knows how to quicken the process and drive the ball into good positions . Felix ... 🤦
Parmer have become untouchable and that’s why our strikers have to hustle for goals on their own. This boy have gotten a big head now. He is also deep in the midfield even behind Caisedo because he is just following the bal around
Today it felt like Poch was in the dugout. Terrible subs and trying to defend a 1-0 lead from minute 70 itself with a leaky defence.Today's loss was on maresca , Gusto was poor , the Nkunku shoehorning into ST needs to stop and Joao Felix playing 0 minutes against 2 low blocks is a disgrace
The same thing Younes was saying has been playing in my head over & over before this video got uploaded. This felt like last season. When will these players LEARN!
Today has shown me these players have learnt nothing from the last two years. What truely shows you how good a team is is how they respond to dropping points in previous games. Our response to dropping points to Everton was putting in the worse performance of the season. I fully expect us to go on a run of games of dropping points now and it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if we end up being 7th by February
Maresca has all the ammunition on the bench but doesnt want to use them. The team seemed so tired at half time but Maresca could only make one useless sub. 😠
12:55 As a barcelona fan I disagree. Marc Guiu's debute with barcelona under Xavi was a game where we were 1-1 and at the 85th minute Guiu entered the pitch and managed to score the winner. So I think he does have the ability to hold the pressure for such situation.
It's embarrassing. Maresca cost us the game by failing to substitute Sancho and Neto. The right side was very weak throughout the game and Fulham used it to their advantage. Leicester fans have warned us Maresca will have a free fall.
Aside from Palmer goal, his subsequent contributions were nil. He often times, delays the attack until Fulham players close him down, and then he will pass to teammates that were not free .
This match and how abysmal the Chelsea players were playing didn’t phase me at all, it’s been a whiles since I didn’t care careless about a game immediately I saw on the pitch the players didn’t want it
We are not using our counter attacks right. Someone takes too long with the ball, or the players are too scattered, some not running hard enough as a group to support. Look at Liverpool when they run forward
What you guys don't realize is that we are in deep trouble. We don't have a reliable striker and the squad depth at this stage is poor. You are going to see this pattern over and over again until Lavia comes back. The coach is not tactically flexible enough for me. I call it now. He will be out by November next year.
Maresca is honestly a saint given how quickly he has turned our fortunes, but in-game decisions like these are what make me miss Tuchel so much. Man was ruthless and always knew what substitutes to put on when he had the bench available for it
at 1-1 at one point in the second half, Palmer got the ball with space and decided to pass it backwards, the crowd groaned and i knew it was gonna be a long day
Praising a goalless draw with a team bottom half of the table by Maresca just shows the mentality, we might not be in the title race but some results shouldn't be acceptable, unto the next one.
The most annoying part is that their substitutes scored goals and their stadium is just a stone throw away from ours.Fulham is even in Stamford Bridge Address
Same words I wrote in my comment. Had enough of JACKSON Where the fuck is Felix? Today was Maresca's fault Everyone did their best except JACKSON...again why not starting with Felix and Nkunku...I had enough of Sancho and Jackson

At this rate he will lose us Top 4!!! We dug our own grave, and I am seeing some SERIOUS chemistry issues between Palmer and Nkunku. -
I go back to my favourite topic - these Sporting Directors. I still have it as my pinned tweet. We have many “good” players, but there’s a reason they play Conference League. Either they’re way too young, or just a few rungs below what we need. We need to spend another £1billion to get this right.
We missed lavia in this game , not subbing felix into the game makes sense bcs game needed physicality. We desperately need osimhen and a top right sided centre back and offload tosin , badiashile and disasi and bring some better ppl

Maresca is gradually sinking the bench! He has Noo hope in the bench! Even when Palmer is playing rubbish this coach can’t sub n bring on a world classs player like j.felix
Neto spent more time defending than attacking due to this inverted full back silliness
Tell me abt it. Pep City import we better discard like yesteday
This result was a shock. Title contenders??? Road to 40 points on. Get me the safety points
40 points won't be enough for a champions league spot. Stop the nonsense!
@mlungisimanzini8143 we need to survive bro. First focus on getting the safety 40 points
U bottled in a week 😂😂 ba k to your top 4 challenge
@@barugambireismailismail1688we were never in the title race
We ain't going anywhere with a striker like Jackson, bro is an average at best player
We need to sign a gd striker...
EMBARRASSING. THEY NEVER LEARN. THEY ONLY GOT EAGER TO SCORE AFTER THEY EQUALISED. kids.
Exactly, which is why we’re not in the title race. We are still on track for top 4 so keep your chin up king!
@ they can do better man. You score a goal and relax. This is what happens, you get punished.
This is y you are my fav Chelsea content creator bro. U watched the same game I watched unlike some channels who are blaming Robert Sanchez smh good assessment mate. We love Maresca but this 1 is 💯 percent on him no 🧢.
Please Maresca bring on João Felix !!!!!
The tactics of this inverted full back leaves us wide open at the back and so it proved
Bringing Nkunku on upfront was the wrong decision imo. He is quality but doesn't make many runs in behind. Jackson, despite his forst touch was stretching the defence. Once Nkunku came on the defenders moved up making the pitch a lot smaller.
In spite of all this mess i thought Caicedo was superb, one of the only players running and pushing for 90 mins
I think Chelsea are back to factory settings. I don’t understand why he’s not making subs. Subs won Fulham this game and I think we lost due to lack of subs.
We got uncharacteristically tired at 2nd Half
Yeah he doesn’t use subs
Because the gaffer doesn't substitute or rotate players in the first team. Nkunku, Felix & Guiu could have injected energy
Chelsea needs top players upfront to kill games easily!
Exactly. People get blinded by recent results so easily .
@donmujtaba I'm so gutted, mate! Jackson missing goals, Palmer misplacing passes and Neto going down easily!
It's so frustrating and embarrassing to lose our home game!
@@donmujtaba we bought the wrong wingers and our striker is awful
@braddiddy8417, the wingers are actually good, but there is room for more improvements!
Hopefully we can win our next game!
@@nathanmanu6075 they’re aimless and inconsistent zero physicality either with zero output. They’re a huge reason why we’re inept going forward. We should’ve bought Kudus
Immediately we got the first goal, the whole team seemed like they didn't want to play anymore.. the second half was abysmal.. Gusto was so so terrible man
And the melts in the fan base say he’s better than Reece 😂 delusional toxic positivity melts
I have to say, he got cooked so many times on that RB position today that I wonder if he has third degree burns lol
I think I prefer this before the 2nd half of the season. It's less pressure, and time to reset and le the team mature together properly instead of getting distracted by the media. Let's reorganize, put in more work and go harder next year! 💪🏽 COYB
maresca and jao felix have fought behind the scenes that is why he doesnt want him to play , this match was screaming for felix , this loss was on maresca for not being bold in making substitutions when he needed to
Are you sure there was a fight or are you just guessing?
Jaoe Felix is one of our best creators on the team, the fact that maresca is willing to lose a game because of his personal feelings by not playing him is absolutely disgusting, we can’t have things like that going on at the club, hopefully the hierarchy intervenes and demand some professionalism, we need top 4 this season.
@jeanlundi2141 i heard rumors the conference league travel felix refused to travel with the team
@@kwakuadu-yeboah6326 Refused or was let out? It's pointless to use rumors to make a point. We don't know what happened.
@jeanlundi2141 well why didnt felix come on do you think its a coicedence , its not, the rumors are true
this is the first time this season I saw this Chelsea team have no energy at the start of the second half of the game.
The second we scored that first goal we looked like we just didn't care anymore and weren't putting in the effort like a whole team of maduekes
My thoughts exactly
Sanchez lack of footballing brain led to the second goal.
Its like when we (liverpool) lost to forest, it was just a wake up call and a lesson for the players
Well, u guys were already top of the league & dominated forest; just a freak result
We didnt look like scoring once in that game , especially second half@akachied4166
Felix ... 🤦
Can't really blame Neto tbf... Man was busy covering the right flank cuz Gusto doesn't know how to track back properly
@1zzraq1n73 i dont know what was happening there , neto was starting at RB , and gusto at RW for the last 20mins of the game
Maresca costed us the match today. Just like he did against Everton.
Parmer have become untouchable and that’s why our strikers have to hustle for goals on their own. This boy have gotten a big head now. He is also deep in the midfield even behind Caisedo because he is just following the bal around
Chelsea will never win anything with Jackson as a striker . Very poor
But Nkuku is worse...
Caicedo is overused, he needs a little rest. Chelsea couldn't control the midfield when we were off the ball for the first time in many games
Instead of hitting them on the break we keep waiting for them to get back information nd then trying to break them down like wtf
Most of the players were walking on the pitch on that 2nd half. Palmer needs to take some of that blame, even tho he is our light.
Agree and Jackson was rubish
Wtf is Felix as well??
12:55 As a barcelona fan I disagree. Marc Guiu's debute with barcelona under Xavi was a game where we were 1-1 and at the 85th minute Guiu entered the pitch and managed to score the winner. So I think he does have the ability to hold the pressure for such situation.
I was watching too,it was against Bilbao,I think it was 0-0 and he scored the winner wity his first touch against Unai Simon
Everyone was so sloppy…. It never looked like we were gonna win even at 1-0 up …. The players just relaxed
It's embarrassing. Maresca cost us the game by failing to substitute Sancho and Neto. The right side was very weak throughout the game and Fulham used it to their advantage. Leicester fans have warned us Maresca will have a free fall.
As soon as Nkunku came on I feared the worst. We really missed Jackson.
Nkunku doesn’t press this is more reason Moresca doesn’t play. He add nothing. At least Nico do press to make opponent defense do some mistakes.
We had the wrong formation in that game. Re-watch it and look how lost the outside of the pitch looked defensively.
Sad but we move.. Up the Chels 🔵💙
Maresca should have changed the shape on the 70mark, off sancho on casedi. We needed more in midfield to allow our full back deal with the wingbacks..
Bruh, NkunKu looked like he didnt even want to be at the bridge talk less of playing. I think we need to start giving Marc Guiu some munites.
Aside from Palmer goal, his subsequent contributions were nil. He often times, delays the attack until Fulham players close him down, and then he will pass to teammates that were not free .
Maresca is killing the spirit of the team, how on earth Maresca refused to make a substitute when some of the players are tired.
This match and how abysmal the Chelsea players were playing didn’t phase me at all, it’s been a whiles since I didn’t care careless about a game immediately I saw on the pitch the players didn’t want it
Very slow progressing of the ball, bad attitude from players, late substitutions. We kill ourselves. We lost the game in the first half
We are not using our counter attacks right. Someone takes too long with the ball, or the players are too scattered, some not running hard enough as a group to support. Look at Liverpool when they run forward
MARESCA COST US THE GAME
PALMER SHOULD BE SUBBED AT SOME POINTS
MALO GUSTO WAS SHIT
I can't believe Fulham, put in extra 3 attackers , yet Maresca was still mourning pep..
Almost broke the tv🙈
What you guys don't realize is that we are in deep trouble. We don't have a reliable striker and the squad depth at this stage is poor. You are going to see this pattern over and over again until Lavia comes back. The coach is not tactically flexible enough for me. I call it now. He will be out by November next year.
Expected. I predicted it. I am hoping we do Ipswich way better.
We need a striker, defender and a goal keeper to make us stronger
UNBELIEVABLE 😭
When Palmer disappeared in the 2 half we were left with 2 wingers and a striker with no end product.
Marescca was riddung on pochetinos tale wind now we see he had two jeepers on the bench
Maresca is honestly a saint given how quickly he has turned our fortunes, but in-game decisions like these are what make me miss Tuchel so much. Man was ruthless and always knew what substitutes to put on when he had the bench available for it
Why does gusto leaves too much space at the back post always
It's the "inversion" nonsense. Pep nonsense carry over
at 1-1 at one point in the second half, Palmer got the ball with space and decided to pass it backwards, the crowd groaned and i knew it was gonna be a long day
Praising a goalless draw with a team bottom half of the table by Maresca just shows the mentality, we might not be in the title race but some results shouldn't be acceptable, unto the next one.
The most annoying part is that their substitutes scored goals and their stadium is just a stone throw away from ours.Fulham is even in Stamford Bridge Address
We are becoming predictable. We need to experiment with 3 CB , 2DM, 5 attackers, including Felix.
Yes!! Thank u! 3/4/2/1 with Joao14 + CP20 behind FW- then switch to full wingers (3/4/3 or 4/3/3).
When maresca started his job early he used to doing sub earlier now he does not again. Complacency
Maresca's fault....Also Jackson is better than Nkunku...Also whats wrong with Felix
Same words I wrote in my comment.
Had enough of JACKSON
Where the fuck is Felix?
Today was Maresca's fault
Everyone did their best except JACKSON...again why not starting with Felix and Nkunku...I had enough of Sancho and Jackson
Chelsea stopped playing in the second half. Palmer took the second half off. Gusto has energy but NO PRECISION. Maresca’s substitutions were late. Sanchez is NOT the goalkeeper we need. At this rate he will lose us Top 4!!! We dug our own grave, and I am seeing some SERIOUS chemistry issues between Palmer and Nkunku.
-
The pressure of tittle challenge talks got them scared so they start playing not to loose
That’s the effect of denial, you can’t hide it.
Even the only one substitution was a bad substitution. Nkoukou is uninterested. The manager left the team helpless intentionally.
Thank you Chelsea for lovely Christmas Christmas gift shit shit
I go back to my favourite topic - these Sporting Directors. I still have it as my pinned tweet. We have many “good” players, but there’s a reason they play Conference League. Either they’re way too young, or just a few rungs below what we need. We need to spend another £1billion to get this right.
We missed lavia in this game , not subbing felix into the game makes sense bcs game needed physicality. We desperately need osimhen and a top right sided centre back and offload tosin , badiashile and disasi and bring some better ppl
Osimehen can’t even hack the turkey league lol
I didn’t want to watch a single chelsea UA-camr today because I thought you would over react and start saying shit but I’m glad you were calm and spoke facts. Up the Chels. Let’s win the next game.
Yet again we show that we still lack a killer upfront . Jackson can win you battles but not the war .
A proper striker gets you a win against Fulham / Palace/ Everton/ forest etc etc .
Well said👏
Let me guess we need osihmen
@@Omen-108Jackson is good but not a title winning striker same with Sanchez
Leister fans warned us about enzo stubbornness hopefully he listens and the team gets back to winning ways
Dont blame the players this time.... there was not stategy to be found here
100% except Jackson
It’s all on our average players especially our useless attack
@@yveskhater8025What do you expect any striker, let alone Jackson, to do if they don’t receive service? At times, emotions completely clout people’s rationale and it is can be seriously annoying. Jackson put in a decent shift even though he did not have any service.
@soccerworld1638 jackson did fine, he should have even stayed on was putting pressure on their defence.
@@braddiddy8417 your very wrong they were not bad but our strategy was too much long balls over the top that we do not win, we play the ball out to the wings only to recycle down to defence really our wingers basically just wasted time on the ball today, and through no fault of their own thats how they were told to play but it was not the right strategy.
Take off gusto and Sancho. Bring on Nkunku and Felix . Play Nkunku up front , Nico off the left . Palmer and Felix in 10 . Go for it !
