    Will Howard got better as the season progressed and was lights out by the playoff. CJ Stroud also improved and was amazing by the end of the year. McCord...well...um...

    Talent is not the issue. Experience is. How long for all the new guys can gel and come together especially at qb is the biggest thing to me. The Texas game is huge and we will see if all the new guys play well together.

    It looks like Brian Hartline is going to be pretty good at the wide receivers coaching thing at Ohio State.

      Who's that? Did he play wr for the buckeyes or something and go for 1k yards in a season for the Dophins?

    I wonder if CJ Hicks as an edge rusher next season left town Sunday for Penn st? Knowles has been wanting to run a 3-4 defense and Day doesn’t want to. Day did say after the Oregon loss in the regular season that they were going to be multiple. I hope that is Day’s philosophy going forward.

    C J was not a dual threat as a passer/ runner. That was what hindered the team !

    CJ never struggled… he threw for 400 f’n yards in his first game. Wtf. u2 are average as they come when reviewing talent. And in no way shape or form is Lincoln over Julian.

    Guys, stop with the “QB competition” podcast talk. DB33 didn’t go to Cal because of LK or the freshman coming in lol. There is only a “competition” if JS falls flat on his face. It’s his job. OSU fans know it, JS knows it, and you both know it. They will go through the motions of naming JS the starter after spring, or even fake like it’s going into fall like they did this year(even though they told DBrown after spring Will was the starter). I know ya want your daily “competition” updates to get clicks, but there is no mystery here…..

    After watching Keinholz, hopefully I didn't butcher his name, in the bowl game he would have had to learn a ton from then till now. Don't think I've ever seen a qb that didnt know what was going on for OSU in my lifetime. You would have thought he would have learned a handfull of plays at least and looked totally inept that day.

    Watch out for cj Donaldson tape he's like Judkins but 15lbs bigger hes deceptively fast for his size and his stiff arm is nasty and he played some TE so he can catch the ball out the backfield him and peoples would be a dark horse 1-2 punch

      It’s not uncommon for players to mark there height with cleats instead of there height. Also Ryan Day has never been a qb size guy. Johnny Manziel, Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray all around his height have balled out and been first round picks so size rarely determines ability.

    • @chasejordan22
      @chasejordan22 6 днів тому

      @@alexdrollinger1588
      I'm not saying height determines anything really other than taller QBs have an advantage over shorter QBs. That's why Doug Flutie is still the only name brought up when talking about short QBs. In 2024 he's still the only one who has been successful in the NFL.
      That doesn't mean short can't start for college teams. It only means tall is an advantage.

    The buckeye will be just fine, so much talent behind the kids that just finished balling out. Sayin is no doubt the starting QB, St. Claire is going to be great but he will not start until his 3rd year. Also, I give the defensive players all the credit for this year, Peter Pan could have gotten them results. F..k JK
