Sorry I'm late to the party but you did a fabulous job building and painting this model!!! Beautiful job! A Master Replica Falcon now goes for thousands of dollars now! I would assume this is a lot cheaper and just as good with more FX!!! Glad to see a woman into model building since most model hobbyist tend to be guys! Very talented and very impressed!!! Thank you for sharing!!
I consider myself a capable painter when it comes to props and kits and let me say you NAILED this paint job! You should be very proud. I've always wanted this kit in my collection.
I came across your video because I'm debating the FanHome reissue of this kit subscription. I still haven't pulled the trigger yet, but you give me hope that a "novice" can turn out something amazing. For not having modeler experience I think you nailed the finish on your Falcon. She looks amazing. You should be extremely proud of your work.
Amber you're back in action again! That looks amazingly awesome! Great build and paint job! You have more patience then i do. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to watching more of your videos!
For your first biuld this is stunnung Amber the paint job is fantastic Love the lighting on it and that ramp is awasome! Congrats and much respect Obie
This is by far the best looking DeAgostini Falcon I've seen yet. The paint is perfect. It what the Falcon looks like. What's the best forums, website's, Facebook groups to gather info from to get those results
fantastic job well done for your first model,i have been building kits for 30 yrs,and i have been putting this off as its a huge project.,time to get started i think.
This looks really good, I would never have guessed it was your first build. I'm still deciding whether to get this or bandai's perfect grade. I will probably get this due to the wall mounting options, as my space is really limited. A timely video for me, thanks for making this :)
Warning I subscribed for the 1/8 GT40. I received 14 of subscriptions then they stopped but still charged. I’ve reached out to DeAgostini several times over the past few months.. they responded. We’re working on it? No resolution yet
- wow! just wow!...I have all issues now, waiting for the tools and painting to start my building. Would you tell me what kind of washes did you use?, besides the ones you showed from Tamiya. You did an outstanding job, and being your first model...awesome!! ✌🏻
I built mine about 5 years back but have not finished it due to some errors in the mouldings! You are to be commended on your painting but I noted that while the gun turret glass frame is modified from the erroneous original, the cockpit frame is still the old faulty one with the lower window line incorrect. I tried (at 4:54) to see if the starboard armour plate is correct but could not, it's a bit more clear at 11:00 & seems to be the old wrong one. But it's a great build. My prime reason for quitting (temporarily) on mine is the ramp! it can never reach the corridor properly due to the upward angle so I modified it by reversing the mounting of the ramp motor, dropping the hold & all the corridors by 10mm, it almost fits but now I want to add a whole bunch more modifications. What do you think of this ramp alignment issue - so many people have just ignored it or glossed over the issue?
Looks fantastic - you've done a great job building and painting it. I really must get back into building mine.

You did an amazing job painting this for never having painted a model before. The Millennium Falcon isn't an easy thing to paint just right.
You have a natural talent. Great paintjob. Excellent work!
If THIS is your FIRST time building and painting a model---WOW!!

Do it. It was fun! If I can do it, you can I promise.
Nice work. I’m still building mine. Some of the parts are out of stock, so I’m still waiting.
That is a freaking amazing paint job. You girl are a natural. Can't wait to start mine.
That’s good! You’ve taken your first step into a much larger world.
I think you're done a fantastic job, in making it and the paint work. Going to look the business in your amazing collection.

I spent a stupid amount of hours on it. I too put it off forever because I knew it would be a huge undertaking.
Excellent job! Just starting my build soon and terrified to paint it!

The Bandai kit looks great as well. You can't go wrong with either one.
Wow you’ve done an amazing job with the paint! I still haven’t built mine, I get nervous thinking about it lol awesome job!
Beautiful!!
Looks AMAZING! The paint is beautiful! It’s supposed to be a life long passion project anyways. :))

Do you paint the model after assembling or as you build it? I'm afraid of waiting and finding out I have to take it apart to paint some parts lol.
Now onto the scratch build 5 foot version!
In germany start it now with the collection.
Question. If im understanding you right...did you build it all at once or as the parts came in?
I built it all at once. I had it sitting in boxes for around 2 years before I started build it
If this is your first model, what made you get into modeling and why did you choose this one to star with?
I wanted this for my collection and that's the reason I got it. The Master Replica one was out of my price range.
I built mine about 5 years back but have not finished it due to some errors in the mouldings!
