This is my first 4k Star Wars review.
This is a review of the Master Replicas Millennium Falcon Studio Scale LE.
Master Replicas owned the license to Star Wars replicas. Collaborating with Lucasfilm, Master Replicas utilized digital scans from the actual special effects miniature, Falcon experts with years of research knowledge, and master model makers using hundreds of original model kit parts to produce this replica.
This piece was a Limited Edition and 1500 were made.
This is the centerpiece of my Star Wars Collection
Sold my MR Falcon many moons ago for a bunch of other studio scale kits...regretted it until the DeAgostini Falcon came out. I am one of those people really kitting it out so it’s taking me 10 times longer to finish it. FYI, the DeAgostini was not based off the MR Falcon- DeAgostini hired Steve Dymszo, one of the founders of Master Replicas, to aid in the design of the DeAgostini Falcon. Aside from the original Falcon builders, no one knows the 32” model better than him! His painting tutorials are amazing.

I agree, the deagosini version was copied from the Master Replicas Falcon. I love my Deagostini Falcon but originally we were led to believe it was copied from the original filming prop using scans from when MR did them but the model had more in common with the MR Falcon than the original so it came apparent that they bought Steve Demzos model to make there own and they had zero contact with the original 32” filming miniature. Love your MR and I agree don’t paint it.

Awesome video! Does anyone know what the power source is for this model? I lost the base to mine, and I need to replace the plug so I can light it up again. All I know it's 120 Volts AC powered through the base with a "phono plug" that attaches from the bottom of the model. Is it a transformer plug? What is the actual voltage for the model itself from AC to DC? Does anyone out there know? Thank you.

How did u make the Han Solo carbonite replica I went to the rpf and was very confused
I don't know if your uploaded it in 4k cuz it only goes up to 7:20
If you click on the little gear icon you can change the resolution. Chrome will let you choose 4k, Apple safari might not.
But can it achieve light speed?! Or is that only the speed of the money coming out of your account when you order one?
No glass on the cockpit?
None of the Lucasfilm filming miniatures had glass in the cockpits, this was to avoid unwanted blue screen reflections👍🏻

Honestly, the painting is not very impressive. The model itself is alright, but the painting and weathering look far too mechanical for however much it costs (I'm sure it doesn't come cheap).
this one has a bad paint job but many have a much better one.
Deagostini version is more accurate as details were discovered after the MR version. It was made in conjunction with Steve Dymszo.
That is total rubbish... urgh
I have a re-painted MR version, it is way better than the De Agostini version which has literally 100s of inaccuracies
