I would have never known you hate decorating! You come up with such clever workarounds quite often, and always make tasteful choices without doing too much.
6:22 Fun side note, the 'captured frog' displays quite humorously on the chessboard. I used the taxidermy tinker bench, merged in the captured frog, then simply placed the floor decor frog in a jar, and the new scoreboard frog dissection for an oddly froggy taxidermy table. Kermit would not approve.

Most of my friends don't build lol and tbh, I'm too much of a control freak, plus most decorations are atom store so they wouldn't be able to place them
For railings, use a slot machine podium with a conduit merged in. Then snap the rest of the conduits onto that one and use another slot machine podium as the end piece. The trickier part is getting 2 merged conduits aligned exactly parallel so the railing doesn't look obtuse. Overall a great way to make fancy banister railings. Try it out! And have fun! 😄
I really love that stone set, I've built two camps already with it. Can you use glass half walls instead of the white railings upstairs? I can't remember if they attach to that flooring. I put a scout banner on a chessboard, it looks nice sitting on the counter! Lunchbox, not so much. It looks miniature. Love the exterior view from the road! I love that you always include a "garage." That's something I struggle with, I want a beautiful build but I kind of need those ugly workbenches/stash/ammo box/scrap box. Plus the intelligence machine, fortune teller, mothman alter.....
Great buikd but do you know of any way to have the stairs flush against the wall giving more space not sure if floors would work but have seen it done in other vids somewhere x

I am currently following this tutorial and am stuck trying to add the second story doorway at the street side of the build. It looks like the roof is the problem, but I can't remove the roofs. Any suggestions?
I agree with the lack of books 🥲. In one of my builds for a desk, I chessboard merged a magazine and a note that looks like type writer paper next to the typewriter. It looks pretty good if I do say so myself lol

Be aware I did the roof differently from the tour... I hadn't noticed lol the roof on the original goes down on the right, I had it slanted up... Think I've been over doing it lately. Going to have a break soon.

it looks really good for a northern house but I had to smile at the hopefulness of a modern open plan and works of fine art on the walls.

You can put the glass walls on but they will be offset, so they won't line up but you could freeplace a half wall if you have catwalks

I've done it before in other builds but it won't work with floors, you need to use roofs

If you change the position of the roofs you can remove them, so from upright to flat but leave the one in the middle so you can add them back in

I think the roof is a different shape on the example at the start than the build you do
It isn't
I didn't swap the roofs out to the thicker roofs that were on the decorated version. But roofs snap to the walls, and the walls are in the same place
