Thanks! The must have quit putting the instructions on the back of the cover as I just bought mine today and there are no instructions on the back. Nor are there any in the box. I guess they figure someone will put it on UA-cam and you have to search for them... However these instructions didn't work for me either.
I found a solution! All you have to do is take off the last battery on the back. As your putting BACK the battery, hold the SET button. Once you hear a long beeping. Let go of the SET button. Then follow the instructions as followed. 😃 hope it helps and makes sense
My newly installed keep beeping every about minute. I have put fresh batteries twice so I don’t think that is the cause. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Remove the lock’s battery cover and then remove one battery.Press and hold the SET button. Next, insert the battery back while still holding the SET button. Do not release the SET button until a long and short beep is heard.Enter the default Master Code to complete the factory reset. Keep in mind that restoring factory settings will erase all your stored information, including user codes and current Master Code. You can reprogram your lock after the reset-add user codes, new Master Code
@@donnadavis4099 If it's that simple, there's no purpose to using this unless it's just for very low security such as on a closet or to keep kids out of the attic door.
Just got one of these electronic deadbolts and I’m about ready to throw the damn thing out. Sometimes it works as it should and other times the deadbolt partially retracts then goes back go lock position. But you can manually unlock and lock it just fine. Then sometimes you type the damn code in and it just flashed red at you. NOT A FAN!

Does it matter if it is electronic?
Hi, will this be applicable to any types of defiant brand locks?
Where did u get the 20 from ????
What if i don’t want to reset all the codes? Just the master code
What if you don't know existing user codes? Can you erase them without knowing them as in the case of new ownership to a property

This is for a new installation. This video doesn't help you install a new code from a previous code.
How to program it to to the phone
How do you delete the 123456 code
The question nobody wants to answer🤦♂️
