I got up this morning and saw a small quilt that my mom had made 37 years ago --my daughter-in -law had hung it for me as I will be home today--It has a little girl and boy holding hands form the back, looking at an apple tree and a hedge of flowers, a huge rainbow with the sun peeking out with a huge smile. Today is hard for me--I have been chronically ill for 38 years-Lupus. Divorced before I was even seriously ill--he could not handle it. I had 2 young sons to raise, how thankful I am for my Christian parents!!! They were with me each step of the way!!! They are home now in Heaven ---in 2014 --4 months apart ,they served the Lord together for 73 years of marriage!!! They were healthy ! Mom was 90 and dad 94. I am so thankful the Lord took them gently-they were in church up to 2 weeks before they went home!!!
