wow, this is really cool. I miss this kind of program on tv, that's why I miss mtv. Its not just video clips, its seeing our favorite artists doing different stuff than breaking records on viwers, listeners, etc...
The subtle tone changes are completely lost once you render an mp3 file for the internet. You have to be there live to notice the changes, and frankly, sometimes only the guitarist gets the difference because he knows exactly what sound he wants.
If only MTV would focus back onto stuff like this. Real talent, real musicianship, human made, human played music, they would have another award winning channel again.

He sadly passed away October of 2018 to non-Hodgkins lymphoma at 33 years old. There is an obituary for him his family made on the internet that mentions this performance, just do a quick google search. I knew of him in high school, he went on to play in some bands, but they never really took off. He was a nice kid from what I knew of him, a sad ending unfortunately p, wish I had better news
