Funny phenomenon... Sunny Drive Studios noticed the same thing as me... I put Fluence moderns in my Jackson Slsmg, sound much thicker than the Fluence M in my new Pheonix and better than my EMGs, I have EMG 81 in a Schecter Hellraiser (HEAVY F'n Guitarrr) that sound great through my 5150III, better than any other setup I own for high gain, but thin in my JCM2000 DSL. EMG 81 in a Carvin that don't allow string seperation on any amp... point is I guess you need all variations for different purposes, lol. GAS. It's not a consistent distinction between these 2 pups, nobody can tell me otherwise I've been plagued by it in my own studio with my own ears! Thanks for doing this!
Killer vid bro. Great demo & killer tones. Thanks! EMG81 for me on this. 🤘🏻
Emg
That was great. I’m digging the razor sharp Fishmans.
EMG 81 for life!
Very good both, thanx!
For me:
EMG.
More low mids.

I honestly don't know. If there is a difference, it's a subtle one.
emg phoenix vintage
Excellent riffing, do these guitars neck dive at all?
yes they do
