I'm posting a video tomorrow with details on several exclusive goodies I'm giving away to you guys! Thanks for your patience. Happy New Year everyone!! You all are awesome!

    Thanks for showing us a good time and keeping it clean gents! I have been telling my children about my wild day at Powder Mt in 2003 for years.11 inches of fresh and a bluebird day. Dropping through the woods down to the street to wait for the bus was a favorite. Back then, the Cat dragged long ropes off the back to pull skiers/riders to the ridges. It was a challenge for me as a snowboarder to hold on to that rope. Well worth the effort to get to some of the non lift serviced areas. Haven't been back to Powder since, but after watching this, my 13 and 15 year old are adamant about heading there this year. Hope COVID doesn't interfere with that plan!

      Love it!! Thanks for sharing your story. They have cat access still but no towing skiers/riders anymore I guess, 😂. I’m hoping to use their cat access this year. We got free passes last season (see my other pow mow vid) but didn’t get to use them. Here’s to 2021! 🤞

    Have you ever ridden on the east coast? If so, how does it compare to Utah? I can’t imagine anything comes close to Utah, with the exception of Killington, Whistler, and a few others.

      I’m from the east! #icecoast! 😂. I like Jay Peak. Killington & Stowe we’re pretty rad too, but it’s definitely different.

      @@BoredProgression nice. I have yet to ride at those spots, but they’re definitely on my bucket list. I just finished a 13-hour overnight shift of snowmaking at Labrador Mountain in CNY. Definitely doesn’t compare to big time mountains, but it’s still a great place to ride.

    Thanks for sharing. I'll be visiting PowMow in a few weeks. Hoping its as epic as your day. Last time I was there it was well over waist deep. Being very inexperienced to powder riding, would you recommend a freshly waxed board for pow days like that? I felt like I was moving rather slow on some of the flatter sections. Getting stuck in the deep stuff can get frustrating lol.

    • @je5406
      @je5406 4 роки тому +1

      Get yourself a powder board, it makes a difference because you can ride balanced instead of killing your back leg. Another thing that helps is knowing the terrain and avoiding those flat sections. Keep it steep and deep! 🤙 🎄

      Always get a fresh Wax with special days like this......Dont forget to scrape :) I wax every 3-5 times i go.

    • @BoredProgression
      @BoredProgression  4 роки тому +1

      crownrocks Yeah, fresh wax & scrape. Also, this was not that deep. I feel like anything more than knee deep would be a struggle at Pow Mow. If it’s past knee deep, you need it STEEP! Haha.

    • @BoredProgression
      @BoredProgression  3 роки тому

      I haven’t ridden it yet, but here’s Trace’s words: “With the rocker in the tip and tail it helps. It’s definitely something I think people would have to get used to in really deep snow if they were used to a powder board but as long as your speeds there, I don’t notice it being challenging to keep the nose up.” He also has told me several times that he loves the board. Hope that helps!
