I must admit, I didn’t fully utilized the maximum potential of the operator until today, after creating this video. My goodness, the disparity between a four or five stars operator and one that’s maxed with 10 talents is absolutely mind-blowing. After experiencing the unlimited Jetpack ability provided by the 10th talent, I can hardly imagine playing without it. Makes me wonder if he is over powered after the 10th talent, but I guess he needed something to stand out from others. I simply had an an amazing squad When trying this operator at max level. I'll continue to test it further, but I must confess, it's incredibly addictive, making it difficult to switch to any other operators. I’ll make a max video after this but I value your insights, so please share your thoughts and opinions on Apollon's power level. Do you believe it's overpowered or underpowered?

Apollon seems like a lot of fun to play, but I think the developers didn't think things through when they decided to put him in the game. The fact that he can climb to high places where we have no view makes him very advantageous on some maps, making it difficult for us to see him, or not being able to shoot him. Removing radiation from high places was a bad decision, as there are now many campers
I think the hardest part of facing him is that we don’t get to see him until we are taking damage. I think the best way to fix this for everyone would be giving a timer for how long apollon can stay on top of things. I think someone mentioned it
Im personally texting them about him....he needs a nerf ......shorter time in the air...imagine fighting a 4v4 against 4 astronauts 😢😢
@senseismokevevo8712 a timer on containers would help, the worse part is that ppl can’t see it. Maybe a better indicator where they are?
Nice video bro! I liked the gimmick of "flying operators" but I think it doesn't really fit the game's "military combat" style?
this update with Apollon and F8 sniper along with the combat overhaul (from 2 years ago) basically turns an old-fashioned military Tacticool to a rather.. cartoony game? (never seen a jetpack used in real life combat ever lol)
Does it even require skills to be good, or is smart bomb spamming the real justice for winning at the last moment? Does movement and logic still has their real meaning, or is it just too easy to play the game when using 120 movement speed Moses injected?
think about it, in the OG era, the combat system is basically a mimic of real life combat with some unique rules (like landau and RIP kills)
your movement speed was average and balanced, SMG and AR were on par with each other, sniper was good for long-range encounters, machinegun DID packed a punch, and shotguns were A LOT BETTER (it required much more skills like movement control, tempo grasp, flanking, tactical analysis, quick reaction, etc. It wasn't as braindead as the current XL20 "one-shot shotgun" insta-kill right now lol)
and then came Chen Li, Moses, and many other meta operators. Chen Li used to tase people through walls. Later reworked but landau field is still OP. Moses has always been top-tier. Afterlife basically means using shotgun would be extra lethal in close range combat. It was and still is the "best" overall operator in the game.
ok, that's enough. The game was intense, balanced (for the most part), and fun. I feel like the game could've thrived at this point. But they added TALENTS into the game.
Now I don't blame the devs for adding TALENTS, it's very interesting and useful to add more varying playstyles. But just as great as the idea was, on paper, the current system has just as many flaws which DIRECTLY trace back to the TALENTS system from its OWN ROOT. Most of the other problems relate to the TALENTS system in one way or another.
First of all, I agree with making operators unique and giving them their own TALENT abilities to further EMPHASIZE their playstyle. AND I BELIEVE, it SHOULD just stop RIGHT HERE.
However, the TALENTS system is garbage, CONSIDERING that the devs decided to make it FIXED. It has lead to many problems. These are only SOME of the most significant problems to account for.
First and foremost, the value of mobility is greatly hindered BECAUSE of the TALENTS system. For example, movement speed TALENT is in almost every operator's TALENT chart, DOES NOT give ANY DISADVANTAGE, which in turn creates impossible-to-beat builds like Moses KLTR/XL20 with 120 movement speed just going around the map and spawn camp the entire team with no problem at all. This makes the game inevitably unbalanced against the majority of players who want to play with and are good at "skilled" builds (E.g my friend "FelGuy" who plays Valera SMS41 double aim speed inside smoke (no aim assist, no aim area) ). Movement speed TALENTS also DESTROYS the invaluable meaning of movement speed perks from other operators who have it
what I'm saying here is that operators with movement speed passive are useless now because literally any operator can be as fast as they want to WITHOUT SACRIFICING ANY KIND of defense criteria AT ALL. What's making the guys with movement speed better than other operators? Yes, it's THEIR PASSIVE movement speed, which is INTENTIONALLY designed for them to GAIN a TACTICAL MOBILITY ADVANTAGE in combat AT THE COST of defense (LOWER HEALTH if that makes sense?). But what kind of advantage can they REALLISTICALLY achieve IF LITERALLY EVERYONE HAS THE SAME KIND OF QUOTE-UNQUOTE 120 MOVEMENT SPEED FROM JUST 2 TALENTS AND MODS, TOPPING OFF WITH THEIR OWN PASSIVES? Now, the other way around, WHAT KIND OF DISADVANTAGE do the other operators get from those 2 MOVEMENT SPEED TALENTS? JUST A POTENTIAL 350 HEALTH INCREASE, OR, +30% ammo? REALLY? IS THERE ANY POINT TO ADDING MOVEMENT SPEED AT ALL OTHER THAN RUINING THE GAME'S MECHANIC?
This leads to my second point. Technically considering the game's goal and balance, it is NOT FAIR if EVERY OPERATORS get the SAME AMOUNT of buff for EVERY TALENT; AND that some TALENT's buffs CANNOT COMPENSATE for the usefulness of OTHER TALENTS's buffs, but they ARE FIXED and they TAKE UP the slots for other POTENTIALLY USEFUL TALENTS
for example, +350 health is WAY worse than +7% movement speed; +30% ammo is barely on par with +7% movement speed in the current meta; Spencer's razor wire cooldown reduction TALENT doesn't really make him as good as the other one which makes his regeneration +100% faster after 6 seconds from the last time he has taken damage; etc.
On the other hand, when I decide to play a certain operator with a certain weapon, like Hawk with MGL99, I would love to go all on reload speed, damage, and damage radius. I'm willing to sacrifice anything it takes, from movement speed and health to range, ammo, aim speed, and dash cooldown. But the thing is that while this kind of playstyle is really fun and has its own potential, it doesn't exist, simply because I would ALWAYS HAVE to follow a stupid chart of TALENTS which contain many passives that I DON'T NEED to make my loadout good the way I WANT it to be
In short, the TALENTS system is NOT FLEXIBLE ENOUGH. It MUST be more CUSTOMIZABLE for players. Just add a sufficient limit to the number of extremities you can achieve at once (you CANNOT PUT MAX on health, defense, movement speed, dodge cooldown speed, reload speed, aim speed, damage, accuracy, range, etc ALL AT ONCE. IT MUST either be a *specialist* path, an *all-rounded* path, OR a *hybrid* path)
As a free to play player, I correspond to your views about the unnecessary changes that were made in the previous years. It's been a pain putting up with these undying operators, forcing me to play as a support class almost all the time as the only potent weapon I carry is the AW heavy sniper. Plus the shotgun users, they're pushing me to almost quitting the game due to my absolute defenseless ops going against their 6000+ health when I only do about 2500 damage per shot.
You know once they bring something in the game, they can’t remove it. I heard someone else mention this but I think putting a timer on how long Apollon can stand on top of buildings might be a good idea. That why we won’t see them up there constantly. There is a weird feeling playin the operator, oddly it felt cartoonish af when I first saw it but then I played it and somehow it just fits and feels right. It’s weird to say but the operator somehow feels balanced. Maybe I need to remove it out of my line up and see how it feels not being able to see them. I think the og era is not coming back, and the more the game advances the higher the chances they the way we play the game will change with it. Maxing ops is everything, they give me Apollon maxed and I’m amazed how this mf plays!! I’m wondering if this is how every max operator feels like. It’s really hard to consider anyone having skills anymore, it’s more about what annoying loadout you have. Flash, sms, injectors are some of the things squads use to beat others, I don’t think most of them have any skills, but rather play certain loadouts that ruin the game for others. Apollon might be the same for some ppl when facing. Now it makes me feel like shit cuz I know damn well I’m playing just like these flash sms players now.
@@BCK2BCK nice response bro, but I have a different idea about Apollon camping restriction.
Think of it like this, imagine on Earth, the higher your altitude, the less oxygen available.
So, how about adding an oxygen tank? I think making the operator's screen slowly start to be distorted the longer they stay on the air/camping on high objects might not be a bad idea (lower oxygen = higher screen distortion). If possible, they should add extra screen shake while taking damage too (the point is to make flying for long periods disturb the user's aim to balance it out). I'd say the max duration for flying/camping should be 10 seconds, after that they have to come down at a lower altitude to reserve and supply oxygen (which I think should take around at least 2 seconds to fill the oxygen tank)
If used for escaping that's fine but people's use him for camping at high places, so I think he make the game unbalanced . What they should do is put a time limit on high place camping so radiation kills him off
They should set a timing for how long they can stand on top of a container
I like this idea of setting timer for how long Apollon can stay on top of things! This might balance things a bit

I really find it very futuristic. And since you cannot rotate the camera upwards, it is difficult to find him at heights. I think the developers are running out of ideas and want to fill the game with meaningless things
I have a feeling there is gonna be a jet pack as special weapons so every operator can be in the air? Maybe or maybe not. I was also told that there might be new rockets that could auto aim and bring him down

I've been using Lupara as my secondary, it's a good finisher when they get too close and having the extra movement is nice at times.

Yes we do! it’s been a struggle having to move things out in order to use him. Surprisingly I haven’t been flashed as much with apollon, but I would want miro still in my loadout.
@BCK2BCK Agreed. I understand having 3 loadouts when there were only 4 epics. Zloy, Dutch, Snek, and Diana. But especially since Operator Rework, we basically have 31 epics, all with different playstyles. Considering the 4 years I've been playing, I've spent hundreds of dollars worth of gold to upgrade them. Why can't I use them when I am playing?
Na I’m with you on this one, I hope we can get the ability to play with more operators. I would want Jason back in as well as Charon and obviously miro lol what they could do is let us play as many loadouts as possible but keep the guns limited to one operator 👀🤣

I do not understand jump's height, sometimes it is high sometimes it is not. looks like weapons do not affect or adrenaline or movement speed.

@@BCK2BCK would love to see a video about it, btw since hawk has minus acuarcy, I'd recommend putting all 2 acuarcy talents in. Also I would recommend using the clip capacity mod instead of the reloading or other mod. Rest mods I'd put on range since you have enough firerate and with such a high firerate you don't need aimspeed. Put all available talents into fire rate, the rest of the talents I'd put on movement speed or something that improves the weapon. For 2 weapon, I'd probably take injector or knife but that doesn't really matter. I'd also use adrenalin to engage and circle around the enemy to make it harder to get hit. Also I'd use Landau sender to remove smoke, gas, blow away grandes or floating objects. (All those things are just how I would do it, of course you can do whatever you want!)

@Jayjob108 I guess the porters gonna struggle the most is gonna be his speed. Accuracy obviously is an issue, but I think aw sniper is a good combo for hawk. I think a lot of times ppl with hawk struggle when they are caught off guard. Because at that point they can’t run away as well.

But I'd actually use him not as a stationary sniper but a flexible sniper. He should 2 or 3 shot everyone within same tier or little higher. When a meele enemy is approaching use adrinaline and kite back while shooting. With his insane fire rate of 2.4 shots per second you should be able to take down an approaching enemy in a matter of seconds. (With the last talent you basically get adrenalin whenever you need it) Also you should always try to be aware of your surroundings, sure, you can't always be ready for everything but just a quick 360 screen spin before engaging or when defending should reveal every danger incoming from the side or back.
Also I thought about using the first mod not for clip capacity or reload speed but instead for movement, since the 5 talent has 30% reload speed or clip capacity (can't remember lol) and combined with the 6th Talent brced for impact you shouldn't have problems with your reloading.
Those are the final stats I'd use (if 10/10 talents and full mods)
12 firerate -40% gas and bleed dmg 20% acuarcy 30% clip capacity -50% incoming dmg while reloading -40% Regeneration delay +350 ho and when reloading prime weapon you also reload a random special weapon (in this case adrenalin or Landau sender)
For mods:
+10% movement speed (5 mod 4 clip capacity)
5% range (5 mod 10% aim speed)
5% range (5mod 7% fire rate)

@@BCK2BCK don't really have issues with campers. They're easy to counter. Dedicate one loadout for countering annoying loadouts

This operator breaks the game the most. I mean all the walls all the other items that every other operator has to walk around he can just jump over them. Most of the mines can't get him since you usually put the on places people have to walk by but this guy hardly uses the doors or pathways most operators use. Also him having access to sniper weapons ruins the fun for everyone else. Most grenades and flane thrower on his hands are more op.
The Jetpack seems like a novel idea. It is poorly executed though given the mechanics 9f the game.
