I can never get the socrat to go right. One day, I served some of my paella and put the pan back on the cooker, but accidentally left the heat on low.......low and behold, socrat bottom!!

Oh my God, in 50 years living in Spain, I never saw, or made by myself such a recepe of Bacalao/ Kabeljau/ , maybe it is more original of Portugal…don,t know…I also miss the Spanish order of cooking: oil…garlic…Sweet or hot red Pepper…etc 😢😢…but at least you tried 😊😊
I don't know about the cost of living in Spain but here in Australia we don't measure olive oil into our recipes in milliliters or cups, we measure our olive oil in dollars. The price of olive oil here has gone higher than SpaceX's Starship.
