  • Inspired by their legendary line of guitar amps of the 1960s and 1970s, Marshall's Origin50C features an all-tube design that delivers the sound of classic British rock with modern, player-friendly features.
Origin50C is built around a tried and true Marshall formula: three 12AX7s in the preamp stage and two EL34s in the power stage, for 50 watts of pure tone. Paired with a 12" Celestion G12N-60 Midnight speaker, Origin50C goes from clean to crunch with ease. When you're ready for your solo, you can activate the built-in gain boost via the footswitch or the amp's control panel.
Taking cues from Marshall's beloved 4-input Plexi models, the Origin's Tilt control emulates the common practice of channel "jumping", which allowed players to blend the Bright and Normal channels for a more balanced overall tone. Just turn the Tilt knob to find the perfect blend of bite and body.
While Marshall's reputation for stadium-sized tone often comes along with stadium-sized volume, Origin's Powerstem feature allows you to run the amp at 50W, 10W, or 5W. Coupled with its fantastic Master Volume circuit, you can truly tailor your output to your environment.
In addition to a switchable built-in boost, Origin50C has a Series FX loop so you can take full control of your signal chain.

I really like the fact of you guys doing no talking demos. I think most of us want to hear the amp. Not someone blabbing on about the features we can read about it the same time we're listening to how it actually sounds.

I wish it had built-in reverb but it's a great line of amps! Perhaps upgrade the speaker to the Creamback and you've got a great combo amp.

The creamback M65 Sounds amazing in the orgin 50 and also in the DSL 40. I wanted to push my DSL 40 more towards a less aggressive more vintage sounding Marshall but without losing too much of the bite and brightness. I wanted more of a Jimmy Page live 1971 and Alex lifeson All the world's a stage tone and the creamback M got me most of the way there which is good enough for me . I can get a quite decent led zeppelin in Osaka Japan 1971 tone with my custombucker loaded les Paul's and I can get very close to Rush 2112 live Bastille Day live Best I can and Xanadu live with my Duncan seth lover loaded les paul after switching the V type out for a creambadk 65 in my DSl 40. Also swapped out the V30 from my Orange 1 by 12 cab for the creamback M which Sounds even better with my DSl then just using the creamback in the Combo . Having an open back M65 paired with a closed back M65 Sounds amazing . The low mids are very woody and full sounding. Very vocal low mids without being overly nasal or honky. One of the greatest speakers ever made and are perfect for modern marshals which tend to be brighter and harsher then vintage Marshall's. Even the reissues are a little less Round and warm but the creamback takes just enough of the edge off .
