Amazing video! Washing a guinea pig is controversial but I agree with you, I don’t think cleaning them every few months is necessary and you should only clean them when they have greasy or dirty fur 💞
Clean every 2 months for long haired guinea pig and male guinea pigs every 3 months for short haired guinea pigs you can go and watch Saskia Los Angeles guinea pig rescue videos

My guinea pigs are short haired (and male) is it okay to wash them twice a year I googled it but still not sure. And I am so glad you posted again 😁
Yes! Since it is a male (like mine) they may need an extra bath. So 2-3 baths a year 😊

Y’all, I need help. My piggie has a really small cage, and I’ve told my dad that she needs a bigger space but he says she seems happy, I need sheep big cages!! (Amazon preferred)
Buy ur piggie a Midwest cage! Or a Mayte open living cage it’s really big!
Well I’m assuming if your talking about your dad then your still living with your parents and they are probably the ones that’s agreed to have you get a guinea pig and if they did they you should tell your dad that he was the one that let you get a guinea pig so he should let you take care of it properly and also I strongly encourage that if you only have one guinea pig that you should get a second one

Like once a year,it really depends on the reason why you bathe them if they have flea’s or something like that you should bathe them.Or if there REALLY dirty.

hi! i got two guinea pigs during the summer and they came with a green cage. i believe the actual name of this cage is something along the lines of a midwest habitat? anyways, since it's getting colder, i'm not able to hose it off which was my main form of cleaning. i was thinking about getting two clear storage bins and combining them together. do you think that's a good idea, or will it harm/stress my guinea pigs? thanks!
Hi, guinea pigs shouldn’t be left in plastic bins. Even if it only for winter. I used to own that cage before I upgraded, you can buy Guineas pig safe cleaning spray or baby wipes to clean your cage xx
