First Endocrinology appt // FTM Transgender

July 9th I had my first endocrinology appointment, starting the process of my medical transition. In this video I talk about the appointment and my first shot of testosterone!

My teen has an appointment tomorrow to talk about transitioning ftm, so it's good to hear how it went for others, thanks for sharing! I'm going to tell him it's pronounced indoctrinologist.

Wish you luck I'm doing the same but the opposite I'm not translucent and I'll barely will start my 1st appointment with the doctor is November 5th

It would have been interesting to see what your pre testosterone levels were. (We all have some). It’s suggested that tomboys (this was written forever ago when I was a teen) had a higher level of testosterone 🤷🏻‍♀️. Just a interesting science though. I hope all is well ❤️🙋🏻‍♀️.

BellaAnn 518 yah I definitely had a higher level of testosterone than the average cis female. Cause I started my “female puberty” a lot later than the average cis female.

when i went to my first endo appointment, i only had partial bloodwork done; a full panel except hormones. My therapist didn't want to do a letter unless they asked for it, so i guess not all endos ask for a letter? but in january i come back with a letter and hormone bloodwork. hopefully that will mean either that day or the next I'll get my shot.
