My name is Roger and I've had ferrets now for 11 years as to any comments, just make sure you have the ability to be with them , also, ferrets don't live very long, 6 to 10 years.
They do like to play and even will laugh at their time with you, they bounce around and make small hissing noise, that is them laughing.
Next thing is if you see them backing up with tail up, they are looking for a place to make a deposit.
Most of all , never hit them no mater what, never get mad, it's OK to be disappointed in them and if you want them to learn, it's by repeating to them what they need to learn, not yelling or hitting them
Last off, go bare foot, they don't make much noise and you can feel them under your feet.
As to me and how I see them, they are some of the best friends you can ever ask for and 💘.

I'm planning on asking my mom to get us a ferret for christmas this year! But school season is back, but I don't know we'll have school or not, if we do and I get a ferret, is it okay if I leave them alone in the cage for 8 hours then come back and let them do whatever (but I'll wake up early to feed them and let them drink some water and play with them, as well as clean their cage and all that (if they're awake I will play with them)
As long as you give them free roam time outside their cage in the morning before work/school and when you return home in the afternoon they have more free roam time in the evening (5 or 6 hours minimum total a day) they should get the exercise they need... they can/will sleep while thier owners are away, as long as they have morning and evening free roam time... there should never be "one" ferret to worry about... never keep a ferret alone, that's not a nice thing to do to a ferret... if/when considering owning a ferret, the minimum number you should consider is TWO... ferrets get very lonely when left alone, and should always have at least one of their own species to play with (even if you give them lots of attention, lets face it... humans just aren't ferrets... they need their own kind to interact with too).

I go to school and work and I interact with them in the morning and my mom gets off of work before me and she gets them out and then when I get home they stay out and I clean everything and let them play until whenever they decide to sleep or me lol they will be fine and on most weekends there put most of the day
When I’m away at school, I see my ferrets in the morning to feed, clean cage, and play for about 30 min - hour. I leave their cage open and it leads to a small playpen where they can play unsupervised. When I get back at 2, I play with them for as long as I can, let them free roam, and put them back to bed at 8-9 pm. That’s just my personal recommendation though.

The box of water bottles! Do you leave them out for your ferrets? Lol i have one and any bottles i do use (which i try to limit) i crush and leave them out for my little one 😭 she loves to hide them

Not too bad, just make sure you clean the cage often!

Keep making videos no matter how many subs you have :) I had like 5 subscribers for a looong time until one of my videos started to get a lot of views! It’s a ton of fun making ferret related videos so just make things that you would enjoy watching yourself!

Samantha Pisillo (or any ferret owner) I need help! I'm thinking on getting a ferret (yay!) and I am looking online for food ideas and all I get is either raw meat and dry food, obviously, I know they are carnivores but I don't know which is better for ferrets, I could maybe do both but if I do, I would need a way to like kinda go in between both and do one or two days meat and the next dry food. What I am basically asking is I need tips, food ideas, what stuff I should get my ferret, and don't know if I should trust the internet on how to keep my ferret safe and I know you probably have some tips of your own so please help!

may i suggest not using water bottles just for your ferrets own well being
If you have more time you don’t really give your ferrets enough time to play IF you have more time that would make your ferrets happy. Also ferrets are carnivores.

My ferrets refuse to eat raw. So there on 2 of the best kibbles for them not all will wat raw. My 3 would rather starve then eat raw.
