Framework Multiplayer Thoughts: Really enjoyed it, felt very similar to two player as you’re typically taking the tile best for you! Not too much to add, solid game overall!
I just played Framework solo and really liked the solo play. For me, I couldn’t find Nova Luna to buy but I did find Framework pretty quickly so I bought it! I would’ve loved framework in the Nova Luna colors. ❤
They are different enough that you can certainly justify both, Nova Lunas drafting system is different and I really enjoy it! So happy that you enjoyed it as it’s a game we really like
Thanks for the video! (Catching up.) Framework definitely seems like a step up in complexity compared to Nova Luna. Especially with tiles having some combination of 0, 1, 2, or 3 colored frames-could be all the same or different, or maybe 2 of one frame and 1 of another-as opposed to 1 color in Nova Luna and Sagani. Such that a tile with different frames can help complete goals requiring different frames. Makes it feel like we're creating optimal wonky polyomino-shaped Venn Diagrams of sorts. Probably my main concern would be discerning the five colors/types of frames and associated tasks. (Hurrah for colorblindness.) Especially for the tasks that a player may use either or both frame types/colors (left half, right half without a visible divider) to complete. I do have both Nova Luna and Sagani, have only played the former once in solo mode. I will probably hold off on Framework for now, until I try it and get a firsthand look at the tiles to see if my colorblindness may affect my enjoyment of the game. Framework does have an intriguing solo mode though.
I'm curious to hear your thoughts when you do get to see it first hand, what is nice is each of the goal / frame is textured so in theory in should be pretty easily identifiable but they are similar so curious how it holds up in practice.
I'm playing Framework tomorrow for the first time, thanks for this video! I love Nova Luna so I'm sure I'll love this one too (never played Sagani). Toootally here for a Pets version of these type of games - get on it, Uwe!!
I've not played any of these, but I heard people compare Nova Luna with Habitats. I backed the recent KS that BoardGameTables did with Habitats so I'm excited to try it.
Yes! Corne van Moorsel is the co-designer in Nova Luna, and I believe it was heavily inspired by Habitats although we haven’t had the opportunity to play that one yet!
I’ve played both Nova Luna and Sagani. I loooove Nova Luna. I played Sagani 10 times cause my daughter wanted to get a dime on BGG but I hated every play. Maybe I’m just bad at it but I always ran out of discs and even ran out of the cacophony discs. Seemed like the tiles never came out in a way to be effective.
Sagani is a hit and miss for me (Ilya), some games I’ve had such a good experience while others I get stuck in inefficiencies. I do love the cute elementals though!
Did you guys hear that Tom Vasel HATES Orlog? I wonder why? More on topic- I definitely want to try out Framework. I think my wife will like it. She loves abstract games. Thanks for the overview guys! 👍
That’s surprising, that’s the wonder of the hobby though so many differing tastes and opinions. Thanks for watching and hope you get to enjoy Framework one of these days!
I played framework with 2 players and solo. I think it's a nice, quick and easy game. I haven't played nova luna and sagani. Are they very similar to framework, or are they worth looking into?
We love Sagani, it’s such a great game! I’m not a fan of the look of Nova Luna, it’s just too busy. Framework...maybe if I didn’t have Sagani I might be tempted but I have limited space for my collection and I don’t think this one is worthy of a spot or to replace Sagani.
@@kovray it is tile placements in general. I really would want to play Botanik again but that is a NO for him. Of those three in the video I think I would like to try Nova Luna as the OG first

Thanks for that especially the comparison with the other two. I look forward to hearing how it is with more players.
Thanks for watching! Will pin a comment shortly here!
Our group LOVES Nova Luna!! It comes out every time we get together.
It’s so good! I heard Habitats from PlayMe is similar as well :)

HOW DID IT GO? I love cute themes, and can’t wait to see more !

Really enjoyed Nova Luna the one time I played but haven't found a copy. But now I have my own copy of Framework on its way. Thanks for the review 😍
Yay! Hope you get to enjoy Framework soon! Thank you for watching

What is the game in background next to Point Salad?
It’s Point Salad Eevee Edition! It’s an import :)
I played framework with 2 players and solo. I think it's a nice, quick and easy game. I haven't played nova luna and sagani. Are they very similar to framework, or are they worth looking into?
They’re all slightly different! Don’t need to have them all but there’s definitely a time and place for each of them

Have not played any of the three. My (playing) Partner does not overly like tile placement :/.
Which would you want to try?
