I agree. Somehow i am able to play cubics so much better than most. Ive handed my own deck over after teaching others and they act like it’s unplayable but they just dont see the flow.

I definitely disagree with some of the choices in the build. i would go for a two/two ratio of edia and eidos so that you have four normal summons, and the rest would be extenders, aka 3 mithra and 2 proof and maybe 1 to 2 of the pendulum guy. of course, you can toy areoudn with the ratios. also playing like a 41 (worst case 42) card list doesnt seem that horrible considering that you will get to see different names in your opening hand. maybe you can even try triple tactics for the pot of greed effect now that you have multiple ways to tribute summon past your normal summon

I still think Majesty's Fiend is better for consistency reasons and because it does something going second; DRNM into Majesty's Fiend can be quite big. Phantazmay also seems to be quite good in Monarchs. Also, Called by the Grave is probably better than Upstart or the fourth Fiend; Droll is pretty rough.
I'm wondering if they'll make "Re-Awakening of the Emperor" (Or in this case Re-Awakening of the Monarchs) from the manga someday. Would it be useful? Basically it was a Spell and its effect was to reactivate the effect of a 5 star or higher tribute monster.
Mmmm, but the spell target the monarch in gy? It's sounds good at least, that card and foolish can be nasty, but too dependant on a monster in gy, making it a potential brick
I have tried it in the past, didnt like it. Feels clunky because youre running multiples and the “brick”. Then again, apprentice Illusion is decent tho, but i think there are better options.
there's no situation where it would be helpful, the issue with monarchs is that you need a monster to tribute and monster to tribute summon. Levianeer does nothing for the deck because you need to be in a position where you have lots of monsters in the gy, i.e one where you are already winning. There's literally no first turn setup where you'll be able to get a Levianeer summoned.
Ey lithium, yesterday i was theorycrafitng and testing amd came up with a version of extra deck monarchs that has 14 starters, its a 2 card combos but it can end in 2 negates plus monsters to tribute summon (yes it uses halq, but past turn 1 it plays just like ED monarchs of 2016) would you like to see it??
Does "Proof of Pruflas" stack on top of Mithra or Eidos and vice versa? Eidos and Mithra say "you can only gain this effect once per turn", but Pruflas does not have that clause. Is it a separate stackable effect?

Yes, u can tribute another time, because of the wording, if an effect says: inmediately after resolve, do a summon.. That doesn't count as ur normal/tribute, so u can perform up to 3 tribute summon in 1 turn, 1 for ur standard normal summon, 1 for eidos mithra (gain 1 tribute this turn), and another for pruflas
Landrobe for a second focused monarch is really good, the book of moon plus a body to tribute is always a good thing, and also can recovery mithra and the other little ones
Bro its the most powerful floodgate deck ever. The tradeoff for unlimited power is lowered consistency. Direct support would definitely break the deck. The only problem with monarchs is that the ratios require too many cards to be played at 3 to be searched off pantheism and it clogs the deck. The new pendulum is the perfect balance of additional consistency without modifying the engine and dooming us all to floodgate city

I hate playing against monarch at that time and I was playing shadoll and it was always a big headache playing against them, I win them more and lose some but it's not fun to play against them
"The best Monarch player in the world" wouldn't be playing 2x Edea and Eidos, only one Mithra, 2x Return and Pruflas. Seleglare is better than Kuraz, and that's a fact, and Lithium is not the best Monarch player, that's also a fact.

This deck lives and dies by the ratios. MBT used 2016 ratios and was surprised when he ran himself into a chokepoint.

I dont like ED too much, even tho halqi and isolde are fantastic.. Domain is much more simple and accomplishes much more 😄
