Right. John 20,6 Simon Peter therefore comes, following him, and entered into the tomb, and sees the linen cloths lying, 7 and the handkerchief which was upon his head, not lying with the linen cloths, but folded up in a distinct place by itself. 6 Simon Peter, therefore, cometh, following him, and he entered into the tomb, and beholdeth the linen clothes lying, 7 and the napkin that was upon his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but apart, having been folded up, in one place; Everything else makes no sense. It is a sign, that a carpenter ha finished his work on the house.
Regarding Jewish concerns with blood and burying a person who died a violent death and bled, being buried in the bloody clothes inside of a shroud, this is very interesting. The medical and forensic teams who recovered the bodies of Israelis who were massacred on October 7, 2023, and who were responsible for identifying the victims and preparing them for burial collected every bit of DNA they could find to be buried with them. This also included their blood, even if it was just a small amount, for the very reasons Dr. Baltz cited. For those found in their bloodied clothes, they were buried in their cloths, but also wrapped in shrouds. These teams wanted them to have dignity and care shown them in death. God bless these teams. Almost all of the bodies had been unimaginably brutalized, and It was very traumatic and difficult for the medical personnel to see the violence that had been inflicted on the victims. Many who had years of experience in forensics, stated this was the worst experience for them. They had to return home each night to their own families, children, and try to carry on some sense of normalcy. But they ensured that the bodies of those who been so brutally and cruelly murdered underwent a dignified process of care in preparation for their burial. They did this for the families of the victims as well. It was truly a labor of love.
Thank you for this video, very interesting. Something Dr Fred mentioned was about the face cloth and how they might had used it to transfer his body so that no one would see the damage, etc. I agree. Only I was thinking, the bible says the face cloth was by itself and folded. So possibly it was only used to transfer his body and not on his face with the shroud. Possibly why there is not sign of it on the Shroud. And remember they put him in his tomb in hast. It was getting dark and they were going to go back and properly bury him after the Sabbath. So just my thoughts. Thanks again
John 11:44 tells about Lazarus coming forth from his tomb :“And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes ; and his face was bound with a napkin. Jesus said , Loose him, and let him go. “ Let’s compare to the account of Christ’s empty tomb in John 20:5-8 : “ And he stooping down and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in. Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre and Seeth the linen clothes lie , And the napkin that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in one place by itself. Then went in also that other disciple ,which came first to sepulchre, and he saw and believed. The fabric from the Shroud of Turin and the style of weave date archaeologically to the 1200 and 1300’s AD . The stains do not match the pattern of crucifixion victims. The stains are not from blood, but paint according to tests. The shroud doesn’t match the description in the Bible. Hands and feet were covered with separate clothes and a separate napkin covered the face as seen in both Biblical accounts. Why did John believe when he saw the wrapped napkin in another place? He knew Christ’s habits and practices. Apparently, Christ had a particular way of folding his clothes/ blanket.
Facecloth on the face on the cross? Makes no sense. How did He look at His mother and the disciple, John? How would they have given Him a drink when He said, ‘I thirst,’? Not to mention all the Psalms that talk of the crucifixion - none of them saying His face would be covered.
Is it possible that if this were Jesus's face cloth, and the shroud as well His, that His face would be so clear on the shroud but not on the face cloth?
Could that cloth or napkin be what we see on the shroud interpreted as long hair? It was lifted up and away from His face. But there seems to be traces of blood corresponding to the crown of thorns . . . so maybe it was laid aside before the linen was folded over
@@ToddSauve they are seperate however He was crucified on passover rose 3days later on the feast of 1st fruits i don't care how hard you try you can't get 3days from friday-sunday
@@Maxtana5 He was crucified almost certainly on a Wednesday in 31 AD and resurrected sometime after the sunset the following Saturday. 3 days and 3 nights, just as you said. However, the feast of first fruits, or Pentecost, is not for another 50 days. Why are you having a hard time identifying when the Holy days are? They are all clearly outlined in the scriptures, so there should not be the confusion displayed in this thread.
There is no shroud, no spear of destiny, no cup that Jesus drank from, no splinters of wood from the cross. Jesus is enough, stop trying to make some shrine for false worship. Is 52:14 As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:

Background music during a conversation is always a mistake. 😢 so distracting.
Agreed.
Agreed.
I wish you did not have the distracting music playing in the foreground. It interferes with the words.
I miss you on Channel 19 TCT on Sunday nights. It's gone and I loved it!! ❤
Background music not necessary
My understanding is the face wrap was folded and left near the body wrap.

Overwhelming evidence, yet why do some still claim it's a fake?

if the shroud and the sudra are from the same death then the DNA would be the same. I wonder if DNA has ever been done on both clothes.

@rogerscottcathey read the gospel of john it describes both tho 1 is more convincing than the other
15:12 Not only was Jesus crucified on Passover, but it was also the Day of Atonement.
No, the Passover and the Day of Atonement are two separate Holy Days. The first is in the spring and last is in the late summer or fall.

"Thou shalt make no graven image..."
Not believing that God allowed an image of Christ to be left on this earth.
But, verse 9 indicates that they did not believe he had resurrected. I thought John believed that Jesus was missing.
I have heard contradictory claims regarding these shrouds. I wish he'd examine these. I doubt this is the cloth used for Christ.

Outrageous: No one can seriously think the Lord went down to hell in His Glorified body.
We are never told Jesus went to hell. If anything, He went to Sheol.

Ordinarily I would agree 100% - except there is compelling evidence of the Shroud that leaves me speechless. Look into yourself.
maybe it wasn't the Jews who kept his shroud
I was skeptical too but the details about even pollens found on the shroud is compelling
If God decides to leave behind overwhelming forensic evidence of Jesus's resurrection, who are we to discount it?
