I’m doing my final year project thesis on “sustainable waste management practice in the construction industry”. And this video alone has done 70% of the job for me...
1. This business model keeps the environment clean from plastic wastes especially the plastics that are scattered on Ghana’s beaches 2. He is indirectly employing women by paying them to collect waste 3. He is directly employing locals in his company 4. He has an engineering background and built all his machines himself with the exception of one. 5. He is building sustainable and affordable homes using plastic wastes. He solved three problems with his business model (environmental sustainability, employment, affordable housing) The house is made of 13,400 Kilograms of plastic waste. The bricks are made up of 70% sand that prevents fires and 30% plastic is used for bonding. By using plastics to form bricks to build homes and solar energy for electricity then no African will be homeless or without electricity again!!!
