1. This business model keeps the environment clean from plastic wastes especially the plastics that are scattered on Ghana’s beaches 2. He is indirectly employing women by paying them to collect waste 3. He is directly employing locals in his company 4. He has an engineering background and built all his machines himself with the exception of one. 5. He is building sustainable and affordable homes using plastic wastes. He solved three problems with his business model (environmental sustainability, employment, affordable housing) The house is made of 13,400 Kilograms of plastic waste. The bricks are made up of 70% sand that prevents fires and 30% plastic is used for bonding. By using plastics to form bricks to build homes and solar energy for electricity then no African will be homeless or without electricity again!!!
I’m doing my final year project thesis on “sustainable waste management practice in the construction industry”. And this video alone has done 70% of the job for me...

I support Wode Maya not because of his personality cuz I've never met him but I support him because of what he has done for Africa for the last 3 years I've been following him.
I am so impressed with Nelson’s tenacity, vigor and determination. This Brother is building a legacy for his children for all generations. He will have several investors to expand his factory and increase the volume of building blocks. I can see communities or villages built with his homes and commercial buildings as well. Great personality and talent 🙏🏾

This is one of the best videos on the internet, being an Entrepreneur and innovator I have an idea of how much sweat and energy has gone into the success of such a project. My prayer is that we shall find inspiration from such stories as young people of Africa , to go ahead and pursue our goals, dreams and desires. The future for Africa is very bright if only we as the young people of Africa embrace the strength and courage to believe in ourselves enough to make it happen .

This guy's a genius Maya! Building his own production line machinery right here in Ghana? This is crazy!
