I think she said that right in the beginning of the interview. She's focusing on the up coming athlete since the elite are already locked up in contracts with big companies.
@@JohnJuniorTheTraveller54 exactly. She said that
These shoes are in our Kenyan stores. They are not just for elite athletes. Only the clueless have no idea.
Running shoes made by proud Kenyans to the world. Awesome!!!

SME's are the backbone of developing and fast growing economies. Hearing this young resilient lady say that start up funds are not accessible for small business weakened my sense of transforming ideas on paper to reality. I'm glad she did not give up on her dreams. Wode Maya job well done! please remember to speak to the African Free Trade Director about speeding up the Free Trade Agreement. Thanks!
Wow!!! Now here is a woman worth all the respect, and recognition that could possibly be accorded on someone. Positively contributing to the development of her country, and the continent of Africa. Truly remarkable, and hongera na heko sana kwake. Shukran to you brother Wode, for airing this. You truly are the champion and authentic Brand Ambassador for Mama Africa to the world. Hongera kwako pia.
I love this video. Very powerful. African lady. You really make me feell proud as a jamaican woman. Big up. Ride on lady
I am so proud of this lady! You are an inspiration to many of us. After watching your video, I have began to brainstorm about coming back home to Africa to do something to help improves Africa's economy. God bless you abundantly
Our kenyan athlete's should start wearing those shoes and promoting the brand.
Unless she gets funding and it becomes a huge company this won't happen
nike , adidas will simply outbid her for the athletes
@@gidd then she will have to play the patriotism card and she taps in to the local mkt, with this
@@gidd Kenyan athletes need to develop the spirit of promoting their own. That is how this show company will expand.
O yes
@@gidd an athlete can simply make the decision to forfeit big sponsorsn rock her shoes.since we know that might not happen then we the people should support her. I bought a pair, right before typing this
She is my kind of business lady. Much respect
I love this sisters energy her mindset is on point powerful
Such an inspiring story. Even here in Zambia we identify with that brand. Enda means walk in our local languages here.

Great shoes, Enda means go in Shona . Much recognition from Zimbabwe.
KiSwahili and Shona are closely related languages 🙌🏿 Thanks for showing support all the way from Zim.
A United Africa is what we need! Well done to the creative Africans out there.
One country can't even unite, how whole continent will
@@kromahj don't look at others look at how a free united borderland africa can prosper.
@@dgd865 you still didn't answer my question . One country can't Unite, how will a whole continent Unite? Before you Unite a continent , Unity have to start from every country first .
@@FoodFromTheHornCA right, they can't even unite in one country, then they want to unite Africa. Let every one built their country
Great looking shoes! Just ordered mine. Can't wait to see them.
I was just saying to my mom that I can't find any black manufactured sneaks, and have been literally holding out for the right pair and here's Wode Maya presenting Enda Kenyan made kicks! Thank you sir! Shoes these days are expensive as heck, but if it's black manufactured I'm all in. Hat's too PLEASE for those wild hair days!
Sad you African Americans despite living in a capitalist country cannot even achieve this
@@gibson2675 stop trolling
@@gibson2675 I agree 100%. People aren't creative, and copy, paste what's most familiar to them. I'd love to see more of this so that we have some options. However, the situation here is not as simple as you would expect it would be.
@Invisible But Strong Yeah, I kinda figured that out when she mentioned through crowd funding she was able to achieve this. The materials are apparently hard to source within the continent which is the problem. Maybe this is something to be focused on which of course will cost quite a bit. But if you know of any black owned athletic shoes, or even just a decent pair of shoes please share! We all need to know!
@@gibson2675 TROLL, you should know black basketball players in America have manufacture sneakers, so DON'T come to the channel with negativity.
Born and raised in Kenya but I never heard of Enda Shoes until today!
Thank you @WODE MAYA for this & all exclusive interviews you have given us.
