I think it's really possible that something must be wrong with the new management since everyone started to leave after Jay Park left his position as CEO.
Maybe management made Jay Park leave as well. It is owned by CJ&M. Jay probably did not like the route it’s heading to, and even though he is CEO, he still does not have 100% say, so he left and made more vision
sad to see aomg going down so quickly. it used to be great but i really think that the issue lies in the company and any artist (even if they worked on a staff side as well) was feeling the burden they were causing
Jay Park was actually a great CEO to AOMG, he found it and it worked because he believed in it, but it's not an easy job to manage artists creativity and freedom and have a succesfull business (If it was, Kpop companies wouldn't control the sh*t out of their artists). It would be a surprise if it worked after he left his position

I personally became a fan of ph-1, haon, sik-k, SamD, gray...etc because of Jay and when he left..... I left with him ngl. So the reason why they're falling down is because JP left He did all the publicity for them, he would get offers and ad deals or tv shows invites and transfer them to his artists or do them with his artists who didn't get any and you can see that especially during covid, even mentoring for highschool rapper he brought 2 other ppl while he could've brought only one. What are you talking about? They signed with CJ not that long after the company was founded, and everything was just fine all these years. In fact, thanks to CJ the AOMG artists were able to appear on a lot of tv shows. The problem started when JP left since he was the very pillar of the company, and then DJ Pumpkin leaving was also a major blow.
@@lakirakira Because thing change, they signed under the premise that all creative music decision will ultimately still be up to AOMG, but since CJ is after all a public company, what the shareholder wants and interest will eventually be at the top, so if the shareholders sentiments change and they wanted more money and less freedom for AOMG, they can't do anything about it, hence probably why Jay Park stepped down, and then everyone started leaving, that should be a good giveaway.
Looking back it's seriously bad ass for jay park to get kicked out of kpop, start his own label in the states and bring it back to korea to be the music company for korean hip hop.
All this aside, it should be made illegal to interfere with other artists trying to appear in music shows. Companies who do that should pay very large fines, on top of getting ridiculed by people. Huge egos and cruelty are too much of a problem in this industry.

It’s sad that all I hear for kpop news recently is artists leaving their company. I’m glad the groups I love and follow haven’t done that and don’t feel like they want to. But on this topic, I do want to ask that I noticed more artists are leaving and starting up their own companies. First of all, do they start their own companies using their own money that they’ve earned as artists? Second of all, is it really that easy nowadays to start your own company (especially with how competitive the kpop industry is with all the companies that already exist)? Third of all, do these artists even have business or Econ knowledge enough to be CEOs and lead their companies well? And fourth, if not, how is that going to work if you as the CEO don’t even know much about business or Econ and you’re leading even if you hire people who do know those areas well? Them doing all the work and professional thinking won’t cut it while the CEO doesn’t contribute their knowledge as much as they could or should.
They more than likely use part of their Mon and search for investors/stakeholders for the rest. And starting a business even with connections and resources already established isn’t always easy but it can help make things easier than if you had no connections or reputation established. With the industry being a saturated as it is, only the ones who stay focused and really put foot to payment will succeed. That means meetings between potential clients, investors explaining your vision, funding etc. if they can’t do that as well gain a stabile foothold so that any future artist of theirs has an actual platform/space to grow their craft then they won’t last long. They might not even get up off the ground with it. However you never know a lot of these artist now a days have degrees in possibly benefiting areas. So maybe they might know some business maybe not. Only time will tell.
Watch the video. He left those labels in 2021. Literally says it there. He only has More Vision, which he started some time after leaving AOMG and Higher Music in CJ E&M's hands. You wouldn't be so confused if you watched what you commented on.
CJ E&M has acquired part of AOMG like 8 years ago, any business needs an exit plan. Everyone at AOMG has gotten their sweet money now focus onto the next thing.
Everything was because he wants to help, provide, and elevate people around him and making platforms where they are free creatively and Individually to do so. Because he weren't as fortunate at JYP and Sidus HQ - He initially wanted to work and collab with people that he wanted to without having it decided. Reason for H1ghr Music (2017): (in Jay Park's UA-cam Originals docu-series "Chosen 1") He weren't allowed to expand AOMG worldwide (likely because of CJ & others on board) - Meaning that he couldn't sign ppl from outside kr. as he wanted to bridge gabs culturally by having artists from Seattle & US to Korea & Asia. He had people who he'd worked with / mentored and at the same time wanted to help out the seattle music scene or at least be part of it. - That's why when you look at H1ghr's history, it already had people signed from the beginning like pH-1, Sik-k, Yultron, GroovyRoom, Woogie, Phe Reds (who's part of Jay & Cha cha's bboy group AOM), and seattle artists Avatar Darko/28AV, Jarv Dee, and Raz Simone. At the end of the day, it also made it more convenient to seperate from "veteran" (AOMG) and "Rookies" (H1ghr) and because of the number of people suddenly joining. Jay got more freedom and simultaneously could make a platform for new artist and uplift/elevate them to "the next level" hence why it got it's name H1ghr. As for why he left as CEO AOMG (2013- Dec' 21) and H1ghr (2017- Dec'21): Like the Creator of this video said, Jay had expressed that he might want to leave soon and he is considering to retire some day. Another thing is, that around that time - he felt as it being the right moment for him as there weren't "more he could do" as a buisness man and CEO at these places and that all artists had come to a point where Jay felt was "self-sufficient" to leave but not completly. Creator didn't mention that while he decided to step down, he would actually not leave them entirely but would take on an advisor role for his labels. He could still be part of them, help them, and all that he'd done but weren't in charge of the buissnes side or being their CEO - alot of artists under those labels still calls him their boss even when Jay wants to be adressed/ treated as a regular honorific title like "hyung". And it's still something he stands by, as he'd been by both labels around his birthday this year, performed/ worked with these labels' artists. He stepped down around december of 2021, and you see him at festivals afterwards perform with AOMG artists or H1ghr, Had a set on Rolling loud Thailand and brought H1ghr with him, and in recent weeks was part of H1ghr music's party at a club and helped with announcing LilBoi as their new artist and gave his H1ghr chain to lilboi. lastly for More Vision: Not only is this where his last musical career chapter will be and where first of all wants to finally get more music out and likely have his last tour before he then decides to retire from music. Jay had expressed for years that yes, he would retire soon, but had also at one point (2018 if i'm not wrong) that he would love to start his own idol group, where he would do it with his own spin on it (probably change the view on how idols and trainees are "built") and he got that oppotunity to do so with help from partners ( NOT CJ, But with KAKAO) He has showcased his dancers more, and a lot of these dancers like HolyBang and MVP has been his dancers since when he went solo (those dance crews has gone under different names, but a lot of the members been the same), but mostly were on his stages/sets performing and now has use of this new venture aswell. Sorry for the lenghty comment. I didn't know ahead of time that i would yap that much. My take for Jay's duty as CEO under AOMG/H1ghr ending and taking on More Vision: Essentially it comes down to Jay watning to help and provide people with oppotunities to grow and make music, which he; I guess in his mind couldn't do or didn't make sense to have him be these artists "caretaker, safety net, mentor" for, but he still wanted be at a distance close enough to still be there - Then gets this new purpose (More Vision) to help out new artists and build up trainee program and eventually set up boy/girl groups in the coming years.
@@badboyonibaku Their big names are still there, no? TLDR: JP got bored of running the company and jumped ship. Others didn't want to sink along with the ship without its leader. Tbh i'm sure there are more drama behind the scene that contributes to the ship (company) sinking, but ofcourse with no certainty, as with all kpop companies, they always seal the lips of their employees shut with contracts & NDAs.
Khh labels just seem to be failing. A lot of ppl on the rap labels out there are in jail or in some kind of scandal. But I thought AOMG would withstand the test of time smh 😢
JYP is a hater bro. He caused Jay to leave 2pm. Almost ruined his career and life in South Korea. Yet here is Jay, signed to Jay-Z, Psy, making music, opening companies, has his own soju company. Is a world professional bboy dancer, heck Jay Park’s mommae, sold more records than any JYP song. Can’t stand JYP 😂😅
And this is why artists should be educated in financial literacy and attending leadership training like every other job. Synergy and consistency is the key to success. This always the issue when artist start companies, they think their talent and drive is enough.
People acting like Jay Park's departure caused their troubles when in fact the company was in trouble well before that, the pandemic was basically the last nail in the coffin for AOMG/H1gher because these alt., hip-hop artists don't sell much, artists and companies rely heavily on live shows for revenue, and those were halted for quite some time. I think Jay Park's strategy of making a crossover between K-hip-hop and K-pop idols was a clever one, I don't think everyone within the company agreed with him though, why he left and started all over again with the understanding that to be profitable you need to be commercial. And it's not like AOMG/H1gher weren't commercial but there was a lot of pretentiousness and acting like they were not. I suspect everyone involved learned a real lesson in humility from this.
Which doesn't change the fact that there may be something to it, that if Jay is not there, it was more broken... since Simon wrote this song when he left, it proves that after Jay left he was compared to him, that is, not forgotten
Up till now JYP still hold the burden grudge on Jay Park. While he was the one who fired him when Jay's Myspace got leaked. Jay apologized to his colleagues and friends and got welcome back. JYP's own Professionalism meh...
No money in it anymore. I haven't heard a good bop in a while. They all go pop eventually. Dok2 carried the 'coolness' of it until he left the country.
People are ignorant, it's not easy to manage a huge company, especially if you were the talent before... So people that think, Lisa, or Jennie can just leave BP and just be their own CEO are ignorant. There is a reason CEO gets paid big bucks, it's because it's not a job just anyone can do, let alone not a job an industry veteran can do. Good luck Jay in whatever you do after this.
It makes me laugh when people go on about boss this and CEO that. Especially when the people involved have zilch experience. Hopefully all those who launch their own management agencies spend good money on professional accountants, PR teams and legal reps.
I think it’s not because of a controversy but wanting to let every artist in AOMG grow and make their own labels…… but we can never tell as all are speculation s….

I told ya... This year is MESSY!!! F-ING MESSY!!!!!!!
Jay Park did found the new label More Vision where Jessi for example signed last year :)
I have been telling ppl 88rising will be the new AOMG
im confused 88rising has been around almost as long aomg and has been popular?
88rising is an american company they can't be the "new aomg"
lol they lost all the best roster they got
@@curiositykilledthekat woow rally!! i had no idea??? girl ik obviously i didn't mean it in that way
@@badboyonibaku Their big names are still there, no? Rich Brian, NIKI, BIBI, Atarashii Gakko, Joji, etc. Artists like Chungha, Jackson and joji just also have another label (e.g. More Vision, Team Wang and plummcorp, respectively) as well, but they're technically still a part of 88r - although they (Chungha especially) haven't really done anything with them in a while, to be fair. I haven't heard any news about Higher Brothers in a minute, but IIRC they're still a part of the outfit, just focusing on solo stuff I think
Its sad because it was the best company
It’s simple because my boy Jay park ain’t there 💯💯 to me it was at its peak when he was the CEO 🔥❤️
Jay Park doing his own thing while JYP is still trying to block him years later is insane. Old man needs to chill
What do you mean??
@@ewelinakoek6630JYP is obsessed with Jay park 🌚

Yes on march this year
@@saebiurisaebi thanks for the info. I was wondering why has she been so quiet after only released one album. Hope to hear from her soon
@@eslnter yeah. After releasing one album and releasing single each for every year only. They didn't even promote her work. aomg makes yg looks better 😂. Maybe she need to make her own lable to manage her
@@saebiurisaebi ye YG definitely did a better job. All her promotion in YG were very successful.
@@saebiurisaebi Or maybe YG is a bigger and known company compared to AOMG which is mid size.. They will always overshadow mid size companies especially a hiphop company
Oh Jay, take back your labels and rise high. Luck and love be with the artists who's music I've love so much.
It is incredibly hard to be both an executive and an artist at the same time. You will always prioritize one over the other. If you're going to start a company, it's best to have a business person be the CEO instead of an artist.
Making up rumors and assumptions are we now?. I'll just wait to see what happens
As a khip hop Stan like im confused but not surprised. This happened with higher music too, (jay park used to own it too lmao) where some of their best artists just left? and now its happening with aomg too... and surprise jay park made another company recently, more vision, which has been having controversies with Jessi.. Im just hoping one of the artists , possibly gray or dj, makes a label that they can all be in :( and where he just won't leave the company for an outside person/company. on a side note, im so glad I skipped uni for the aomg concert now lmao
Jessi is terrible im sorry...jay trying the best and she doesnt know what she wants
H1GHR music is still good the one who left doesn't left because they have conflict they left because they are now successful and have their own company
Just hope they can still make music somehow. Yugyeom just started his solo career i'm looking forward to him❤🎉🎉
i really would not say meenoi was on the wrong side... i mean, they used her signature without her consent, usually this is taken seriously lol
how about hoody and devita? do they still in the company?
I’m so glad that Wheein didn’t join AOMG.
She's lucky the Live is still functioning with Ravi on the blacklist.
Was she going to?

It’s weird tho because doesn’t Jay Park have a new label now? So why did he step down from his original label.
Nothing was left for him to do he wanted a new challenge.
He said that many times...just search

My Yugyeomi should leave soon 🔜
i had a major k hip hop phase in 2020 so this is sad for me
Jay Park is forever the head of AOMG and HIGHER Music
Aomg had crazy good artists, hopefully aomg bounces back. On the other note, jay is back with great music
i knew something was wrong the moment Gray left
There is always three sides to a story and change is the only constant 🤷🏼♀
jay park was an artist before he was a business man so he understood them (the artists) and allowed them to be themselves and do their own thing and now that he's not CEO anymore they probably aren't getting the same treatment and understanding
But no matter what forever h1ghr and aomg gang from jaypark ceo era> thanks to this man hardwork we didn't missed out on these talented artist
Khh labels just seem to be failing. A lot of ppl on the rap labels out there are in jail or in some kind of scandal. But I thought AOMG would withstand the test of time smh 😢
The moment DJ Pumpkin stepped down, that was the sign for the artists to leave...
Dam. I fking love Meenoi’s music. I hope she can comeback in the future
It’s like a school closed down when the principal left, not a big deal. Life goes on, ppl grow apart but we will surely miss it 😢
Yugyeom my honey i hope you will be ok i am rooting for u babe❤
JYP is a hater bro. He caused Jay to leave 2pm. Almost ruined his career and life in South Korea. Yet here is Jay, signed to Jay-Z, Psy, making music, opening companies, has his own soju company. Is a world professional bboy dancer, heck Jay Park’s mommae, sold more records than any JYP song. Can’t stand JYP 😂😅
It’s cus Jay Park made the money go around and brought more eyeballs. With him leaving, this was bound to happen.
And this is why artists should be educated in financial literacy and attending leadership training like every other job. Synergy and consistency is the key to success. This always the issue when artist start companies, they think their talent and drive is enough.
Watch the video. This sh-t started going down AFTER Jay Park left. Stop being ignorant.
The company is doing so well and at it's height when Jay Park still in it. He left 2 years ago and the label is in decline after that.
Jay Park then started another label New Vision
More
Up till now JYP still hold the burden grudge on Jay Park. While he was the one who fired him when Jay's Myspace got leaked. Jay apologized to his colleagues and friends and got welcome back. JYP's own Professionalism meh...
Maybe they all are gonna go to More Vision?
it will be funny if they join More Vision now
What happened with Hoody? Thats the only artist im really concerned about.
This reminds me of the meme from awhile ago of the guys that went “when you put your two weeks in, give me the paper so i can sign on the back” 😂
I miss them 😭
I was just trying to to explain to my roommate that I’m so confused on why it seemed to be crumbling when it was such a powerhouse
Is sad to see aomg end like that😢
Yugyeom might actually leave AOMG before doing his military service
AOMG was literally dream company for artists. After it was sold, its focused on money just like any other companies
After jay park left....without him its not aomg
Meenoi is such a good variety personality though 😭 poor baby.
*sips tea*😌
i’ve never been this early to a video
can't believe I've lived to see the fall of AOMG. I was still processing the mess in H1GH
No money in it anymore. I haven't heard a good bop in a while. They all go pop eventually. Dok2 carried the 'coolness' of it until he left the country.
He left because he owes money in Korea lol He's avoiding paying tax also
Okay. Gray is sooooo handsome. I am melting
Damn happy I went to their concert before most of them left 💀
I admire Jay Park. He's done a lot since 2PM. Producing and even on the business side. May he live a good and honest life. Not like Seungri.
No Jay Park. No AOMG.
I think it’s not because of a controversy but wanting to let every artist in AOMG grow and make their own labels…… but we can never tell as all are speculation s….
When CJ & ENM were involved with AOMG, that was the time I said, this will be no good.....well.....it is now.....
Is Yugyeom still in AOMG?
How can you just gloss over forgery, fraud and then blame the victim? I hope she has good legal representation because using someone’s signature to sign contracts without their consent is a FELONY punishable by 5-10 yr in prison.
Ya'll need to learn how to watch the video before commenting. A lot of ignorant junk being thrown around that the video clearly addresses. The departure of all these artists started after Jay Park left. Only goes to show that management must've tanked after he left.
more vision is waving
End of an era
We want our boss jay park back pls😢
What about devita???
So that’s what happened. I was wondering where they’ve all been.
Someone plz make it make sense to me cuz whaaaat?!?!?!? JAY left his company?!?! What did i miss??
