To Spear The Grizz

- The first Grizzly Bear to be speared in modern times is all captured in this 2 part World Premiere of "Spearing The Grizz". Follow me through 27 days of intense hunting often close to my quarry. So close "I could smell his breath." Bears growling and snarling my way. Treed by a momma Grizzly. See my strategy of the hunt, my failures. Feel the rush and sense my fear as it really happened in Alaska's darkest forest. Black bears, rabbits, birds and more find themselves prey as I forage in the worlds last frontier, all the while, hunting a half ton man eater. Self filmed, no props, nothing fake, as it happened. This 2 part series will leave you in support of hunting and fair chase methods. Please share this link and join me on instagram @ TimWells_SlockMaster or go to www.SlockMaster.com and register to win a hunt with me. Thank you for all the support!
Oh my goodness Tim. You are one crazy dude! Please don't die, I like being able to watch new videos.
chewykris oh it was to survive? So you were involuntarily pressed into service and sent to enemy territory? Because if you joined voluntarily knowing full well that that would likely be the result you can hardly call that survival can you?
@@chewykris killing animals is only for sport if you don't eat them, Tim wells eats the animals he has killed
He almost killed himself accudentally a while back
Do nt worry he just can hunt rabbit .
Number one favorite outdoors channel
$15,000 for an attempt at killing a bear???
I'd rather stick to my $5 burger
or go out back and take out a deer
I would love to kill a grizzle or a black bear I have my dads black bear mount in my room
@@cyb3rjake735 not as satisfying
@@dakotareid1566 yea I still dont know about that
Tim their comes a time in our lives when memories are all we have and memories are so precious. Make them while you can and make them worthwhile !!
For those that think of Tim Wells as being a cruel mindless neanderthal, think again, watch his videos and educate yourself. I'm sure Tim is far from being perfect but what can't be denied is that, Tim is one sharp cookie, a great raconteur, who would bleed for his family and friends. What his haters can't seem to grasp is, Tim has a great love for and understanding of nature and conservation, which is probably greater than theirs
SEAMUS G don’t care
@@TheCardMasta Of course you won't lol
Would guess he also has a far greater understanding of conservation than all the people who complain about him killing animals.
The same people who think he is a neanderthal are the same people who have never seen where the food they get from the store and restaurants come from.
@@Dom-lk2zg factory farming is gross. Id rather get my food from hunters
Tim wells could have been a hell of an author
Try Reading, "A Demon in The Dark" By yours truly. www.SlockMaster.com
Thank you I sure will
He's a great author. If you like his narration you'll love his book, 'A Demon In The Dark'.
What do you mean 'could have'?
Tim Wells Bow Hunter you should narrate your book for the audible app or similar
I've watched many of your videos . This was by far my favorite keep it up
I can say you truly live life on the edge. Isn't it grand.
7:21 The hunter (bear) has become the hunted (by the man) has become the hunted (by the mosquito). Look at his neck below the right ear as the mosquito is getting ready to slock him as he slocks the bear! LOL
Dude I’m from Alabama and we have crazy mosquitos, well my wife is native Alaskan and we went to visit for the first time this year and I did not believe them when they told me about the mosquitoes, I said yeah yeah can’t be worse than the swamp mosquitos, oh boy was I wrong them blood suckers can fly off with small children!!
You are a Wild Man, in the best possible sense, dude. Thanks for sharing with us all.
Nothing better than seeing a new video in the morning. Love you're channel!
That cliffhanger!!! I know why the grizzly wasn't there, he could hear your massive balls draggin on the ground when you went after him. Scared him off.
Kyle . LOL
@@TimWellsBowHunter lmao he aint wrong tim you the man
I honestly think this is the best hunting video I have ever watched. While I enjoy your high energy videos too, I'm really happy you took a more somber approach to this video. Brilliantly done, thank you for sharing this Tim! I can't freaking wait for the conclusion.
The sentimental Tim stops by in this video, love your work brother! Thank you!
Greatest hunter alive!!
All hail Tim "Blood Bath" Wells
Nothing short of inspirational. You make me look for it even more to getting out in the forest.
you guys are my best UA-cam channel I love your family and go to your Lively and you guys love the outdoors that's what I love
Love the content 17 and still wanting to hunt all kinds of game my family is not for killing animals. But glad to atleast watch one hell of a man hunting and keeping the sport alive and well
Spot on with your words of wisdom in a simple narrative that I think everyone can appreciate and understand...
NOpe, no way. Not gonna do it. You can't make me! I am an avid hunter, but good Lord Tim Wells you are on another dimension!
this is cool as fuck but ill never have the balls to ever even shoot a bear in a hunt let alone with a spear lol
Only Tim can make rocks seem beautiful...
I know that was probably a terrifying situation but that cliff hanger has me laughing😂😂
Fantastic video Tim!!!
Youre face . lol
Tim Wells Bow Hunter I know buddy. So many people are jealous of our good looks. Ding dang it. I feel bad for em. Purdy people can’t help it.
I love this video I love the part about your grandpa and the hunting in Alaska but you just did not leave me hanging for the mama bear about to attack you? Now that's not right right there LOL can't wait for the continued. Thank you for sharing Happy Hunting
Such a great video , I think of my grandfathers alot even more so in instances like that . I love how something like a rock or a smell brings back found memories of them.
I wait and wait and wait.. finally I got ur video after long time. I love it
Thought I was watching Planet Earth with that narration. Easily one of my favorite hunting channels!
“So if you’re one of those who don’t like me, go ahead and stick around, I’m about to work my magic, I’m about to cut them down.”
The man the myth the legend
THE SLOCK MASTER
Wow, what a culmination of all the experience, editing know how, & professionalism to create a 20 min video like this. This is the best video I have seen by you yet and I look forward to part 2. Really what a step up in excellence. I like the part where you said " does a bear poop in the woods" lol. Sincere thanks, felt like I was there.
Thankyou . Thanks very much
The most badass hunter.
You are my favorite UA-cam channel
Can't wait for next episode
You're nuts....... balls of steel, my hat is off to you sir.
You couldn’t of said it any better Tim! Can’t get enough of this stuff!! I will one day thrust a spear through a bear before I die.
Some of these hunting scenes are absolutely stressful, and I’m not the one in the tree! This young fella has huge titanium balls. This is really hunting on a whole other level. I enjoy every single one of these videos. No I need to destress 👍👍👏👏
Tim Wells!! I had to sit here and think for several minutes after this video. I was left speechless. This was a masterpiece. I have watched thousands of hours of hunting and outdoor videos. I do not have the grammar to express how perfect this video was. The suspense, education, scenery, connection with the outdoors and hunting. Dang, just dang. Epic. Thank you for that. Gonna watch it again:) BTW you got brass.
Part 2 PLEASE.....😎👍
Fantastic job!
Tim Wells my suggestion is hand to hand combat with a grizzly. Now that would be a great video.
Legends of the Fall
We should all contact our representatives, so spear hunting be allowed in every state.
Lead by example.
I've always told my comrades that it would be awesome to touch our ancestors through way of primitive hunting. By history, I'm sure they rounded up the animals in wait of the mighty spear!!!!
Nice job. My dad was from Michigan, and he was hunting black bears with a homemade spear from the late sixties up until he died in his sleep. He used it as a lance, in other words, face to face. He even climbed trees after treed black bear. He killed many bear, but only claimed 3 as his legitimate kills, the others had been wounded. He said the easiest were the three that weren't wounded because they weren't pissed off. He was inspired after hearing a big game hunter, Sasha Siemel, speak, and having dinner with him. Mr Siemel hunted big game cats with a spear. Check out the book Tigrero.
Thats amazing!
The intro has to be one of the best youtube intros of all time. Amazing storytelling.
Tim , your an awesome narrator and Hunter . Great shows .
This guy gets alot of bad rep from lots of people who cant even begin to fathom how much he cares for the planet and the animals which he harvests. they won't ever understand so just keep doing what you do man
Nerves of steel , controlled fear , let's see dat GRIZZ ! Glad you're on yt wouldn't get to watch otherwise Thanks Tim !
Tim wells is *_THE KING OF THE SPEAR!_*
Great video production. Very entertaining the entire way through. I loved this.
Can't wait for the next video.
Hunting technique and wisdom on these videos are above anything available on UA-cam.
“Millions of years”😂🤣 funny
This guy is the new Fred Bear.
Man, Moose are such beautiful creatures. I remember my first hunt with my dad hearing that weird warbling bugle from the Tule Elk or as we call the Marsh Bulls. You don't realize how big powerful they are until you see those towering antlers square off then looking horns and the repercussion hitting you in the chest. They are huge but gorgeous animals and pain to field dress and pack up after a hunt. It's the tastiest too. Deer don't get anything on Tule Elk burgers. Great hunt, Tim, my dad and I love your videos, don't ever stop!
Godzilla had a stroke reading that
This man baptizes his spear in the blood of his preys
Awesome video Tim thank you
Oh yeah . Salmon was a blast
What an insightful man. Much respect Mr Tim Wells. My hats off to your Grandfather.
Good job to leave us hanging for whats next
"Slock em" best call to call in friends 🤣
This is the most metal thing I hard ever seen, your sir are a boss.
Oh no. You pulled a to be continued on us. 🤣 great stuff
Holy crap, what a cliffhanger ending.
I think the evidence points to a young Earth not millions of years old. Love your videos Man
What a great video, speechless.
This is poetry to me!
It takes incredible fortitude to stalk a bear with only a spear. I'm not certain I would even do it with a gun. Your macadamias are way bigger than mine Tim. You are the MAN! Love the channel, can't wait for part 2
Holy shit Tim. I always thought you were brave, getting up in the tree with those bears all around you. But when you started hunting em on the ground, I realized you're just insane! 🤣 Looking forward to part 2, get some!
waiting...... waiting.......waiting, for part 2
Can't wait for part 2.
Wow Tim..
One of your very best mate, best wishes to all.
Anyone else see the bear at 18:28 on the right corner? Stay safe out there Tim!
Yup!!
18:49 you are a beast Tim. even grizzly doesn't go against another grizzly like that !
Or just a little crazy
How does this not have many more views then 40k? Something like this should be on the top of trending
I think this is your best production Tim...... awesome.
Gorgeous spot up there Tim. Man, tried to get a blowgun, but of course they are illegal here in Canada, nor will they allow spear or atlatl hunting, that makes me mad. but hey, we still have our bows.... for now....
The drone footage is incredible ! Again , masterfully done! Had me on the edge of my seat!!! I'm ordering a blow gun package right now! For real!!!

Tim, You got some big cajones!
That rock is called glacial till. I saw it in person as well and it is beautiful. Also, brought a few pieces back with me to Texas.

My grandpa used to say "EITHER YOU STAY INSIDE OR OUTSIDE STOP OPENING THE DOOR"!
Awesome video Tim better than any movie I've ever seen be careful boss

You are the best hunter I ever seen. Thanks for the beautiful entertaining channel.
Now thats adventure! Intense is an understatement
This guy will one day unintentionally reenact Hugh glass
Man, that river is amazing
18:20 your a ballsy man, climbs down from a tree to go head to head with a bear....helll no not me😂
Mikey Alexander there was 2 bears if they attack he’s dead
@@Robloxpro-hi2pj I was talking specifically about the moment at 18:20

I wish i could tag along and spend time hunting with this guy. I'm stuck here in te city every single day and it sucks. Calgon, take me away.
Wow Tim grandpa is that rock!!!
Anybody else thinking WTF is wrong with this guy and then at the same time also thinking this is the most badass thing I’ve ever seen
My wife and I now carry a rock in our pocket. You have no idea what you have done for us. Thank you!!
I really appreciated and respect your impromptu comments about the ages, rocks, and your grandfather.
My grandfather use to squirrel hunt with a beenflip ,creek bed round stones . I don't know what else he hunted . But back in the depression, didn't have money for ammo .
Wow!!!
My father in law has big balls
Going down of the tree to chase the big ass grizzle
I'm glad he don't kill the mama bear
This was a beautiful video. You hunt animals but do it with respect and awareness that is why i love this chanel
Tim gett’n deep on the opener! Best show out there!
