  • The first Grizzly Bear to be speared in modern times is all captured in this 2 part World Premiere of "Spearing The Grizz". Follow me through 27 days of intense hunting often close to my quarry. So close "I could smell his breath." Bears growling and snarling my way. Treed by a momma Grizzly. See my strategy of the hunt, my failures. Feel the rush and sense my fear as it really happened in Alaska's darkest forest. Black bears, rabbits, birds and more find themselves prey as I forage in the worlds last frontier, all the while, hunting a half ton man eater. Self filmed, no props, nothing fake, as it happened. This 2 part series will leave you in support of hunting and fair chase methods. Please share this link and join me on instagram @ TimWells_SlockMaster or go to www.SlockMaster.com and register to win a hunt with me. Thank you for all the support!

For those that think of Tim Wells as being a cruel mindless neanderthal, think again, watch his videos and educate yourself. I'm sure Tim is far from being perfect but what can't be denied is that, Tim is one sharp cookie, a great raconteur, who would bleed for his family and friends. What his haters can't seem to grasp is, Tim has a great love for and understanding of nature and conservation, which is probably greater than theirs

Nice job. My dad was from Michigan, and he was hunting black bears with a homemade spear from the late sixties up until he died in his sleep. He used it as a lance, in other words, face to face. He even climbed trees after treed black bear. He killed many bear, but only claimed 3 as his legitimate kills, the others had been wounded. He said the easiest were the three that weren't wounded because they weren't pissed off. He was inspired after hearing a big game hunter, Sasha Siemel, speak, and having dinner with him. Mr Siemel hunted big game cats with a spear. Check out the book Tigrero.

Man, Moose are such beautiful creatures. I remember my first hunt with my dad hearing that weird warbling bugle from the Tule Elk or as we call the Marsh Bulls. You don't realize how big powerful they are until you see those towering antlers square off then looking horns and the repercussion hitting you in the chest. They are huge but gorgeous animals and pain to field dress and pack up after a hunt. It's the tastiest too. Deer don't get anything on Tule Elk burgers. Great hunt, Tim, my dad and I love your videos, don't ever stop!
