Excellent video. Many people are confused by the term "learned Key" . I think the "learned" key means the key which already works on the vehicle as in " it has already learned the codes". the new key you then try to code is "learning" the codes
It's the language ! All of these scanners, being of a Chinese origin, they come with language problems. They got confused between "learned " and " to be learned" . Thank you for your videos.
when using autel im608 it gives you that fail message when programming those keys i have done it a few times and always that message even though key works. another thing you should know using im608 on that vehicle it only allows two keys to be programmed if you had a third key the second and third key added would be programmed but the first would be locked out of the system

hi. i chat you on Facebook but you haven't replied me. i wanted to know the procedure for deactivating the alarm of this range rover. 2009 range rover sport presisely ... it was ALK case and key was programmed on bench yet the security light still blinks and the alarm still on. I don't know if the security light will off after the alarm deactivating. any idea will be highly appreciated.
Screen on the IM608 says Insert the learned key "DO NOT TURN THE IGNITION ON", yet each time, I can see and hear the ignition being cycled on. Glad it worked, but error messages don't surprise me when the instructions are not followed.

Learned key = old key first key . Learning key = new key
