It hurts to see how someone so talented and gorgeous could have been in so much pain. Thank God you overcame your problems and that you seem to be a happy man with a beautiful family. Your talent and your life was not wasted and that is a huge blessing. ❣️RW

I love Robbie but just wondering what does physical looks and “talent” have to do with Being in so much pain ? Genuine question. Isn’t pain of all people equal?

@@seanogorman3617I see your point but I think what OP is saying it’s rather unnerving how someone can have everything that society dictates brings happiness (money, talent, looks, general success etc) and still be miserable.

@@seanogorman3617I would like to answer your question, no pain of people is not equal. But over a life time it could be but think no one’s time of life is equal at least here on earth innie way . Never think you know how much pain someone is in! Don’t assume! Don’t think you have been there! Because no one knows how much someone is hurting, physically or emotional or otherwise. Just help someone the best you can without thinking you know how much they are hurting.

@@seanogorman3617shallow people seem to think good looking people have it easier when usually the opposite is true. Good looking people have it harder as they’ll sexualised. Especially if you’re famous. Good looking celebs are more likely to get weird stalkers too.

First, I liked Robbie in Take That. Then I appreciated the artist Robbie Williams as a performer. Then, slowly I got to learn bits an pieces about the man - the highs and lows. And since we all have them, he became a part of our common world . And before I knew it, he (and other people) have been a part of my life for over 30 years! Oh how the time flies and how we all changed. I'm so happy he has the family he wanted now :)

The more I watch these shows, like Robbie, and Beckham, on Netflix, I think your internal world is projected out into your external world, and if you’re famous it’s amplified to the level of fame you have. We all have things we go thro in life, but fame seems to amplify everything massively! I wish everyone well xx

I am so glad he has finally buried his demons; happy with his wife and children. In one of Take That's documentaries, Mark Owen said they learnt how to be pop stars before they learnt how to be men. Their documentaries have always been painfully honest.
He seems to have had a lot of insecurities.
    But what an entertainer!

Rob was and never WILL be a " Nobody ",
When he decides to stop performing, he can be " Himself ".
With the help and love from his beautiful wife, children and his mom loving and watching over him.
The fact is, you were way too young to start in this hard business, Rob.
And you had no- one to back you up, guide you and give the love you still needed.
You lost your way for a while... Even choosing your path in life is difficult, and that counts for every human being.
Everybody lost their way at some moment.
And luckily found the right path again.
It's time somebody says: You are a wonderful human being, Rob, just a man, but with amazing talents.
The life you got was tough...for you.
But you are Never a Nobody.
Hold onto your family, real friends and your health, Rob,THAT will always be nr 1, that is what Stays.
The rest is all Show, and illusion...
Don't be the reflection in the mirror, Rob.
Be YOU, you are SO worth it! And the ones who really love you will Stay. ..always. ❤

I did not even know who he was, though I'd heard a few of his songs, obviously. The self control , courage and determination it must have taken to go on tour and get on stage and perform as he does in this movie- even when you do not feel like it-while trying to remain sober daily, one day at a time, living in a sort of pressure cooker life of : fly here -land- hotel - cooped up -stalked by fans and paparazzi - on stage 2 hours- sleep - fly - repeat whole process.....well it is amazing . This documentary really helps you see the amount of work and dedication they have to feel towards the fans who pay them millions to do what they do. With big celebrity and big money comes huge responsibilities and demands on one's personal life and strength. Thanks to Robbie for allowing such an open filming process to take place where we could see the myth, the man, the persona everyone thinks they know to the person inside ; the fears, the victories, the sorrows and joys. It was a interesting experience to watch him come to slowly find his enjoyment in his career and life and see the beauty in it maybe for the first time. Having had success so young, in Take That ,( when sudden success, money, youth , immaturity and adulthood all hit at once and alcohol and drugs enter the picture as they do in cases where there are lots of people with lots of money) he lost the sober experience of all the good that can come from his success.Great video !

We were all to blame really - the fans, the people who watched, cheered, sang, devoured everything RW. It was, in hindsight, and maybe even at the time, clear to see the demons internal and external that were haunting Robbie and devouring him... but we wanted more and more and more - he represented us, the torch carrier, the band leader for us - the common man with his heart on his sleeve in a world of peculiarity and glamour. We could have stood up as a mass and said - hey, wtf? thousands upon thousands of us love him and want him to do well and don't want this gutter press assassination of someone we deeply love... But we're humans and just continued to watch like it was a soap opera - it's not real, it's just the unagreed situation for famous people and the press. I hope those that were in the mirror, the star and the sun have disgustingly bad lives now. I should feel bad for saying that about other people... but I don't. They could have destroyed a legend early, just like they did with so many others.

Actually a few of Robbie’s songs have depth like the songs Feel and no regrets and Angels. Feel was a song about fearing to fall in love with someone because of commitment issues yet still wanting to fall in love at the same time. and no regrets was a song about his negative feelings towards members of Take That. Angels was about his mother giving him unconditional love.
