The thing that makes me the happiest about Robbie is how good, how happy he seems these days. I went to his concert in mid August and he was better than ever. He was fully there, he sang ALL the songs (and don’t just let the audience sing them), he was funny and he seemed to enjoy himself.
i was a teenage girl at his peak, and I remember loving his music while being blind to his struggle. Today I reflect on that and I appreciate him as an artist and as a survivor from his own war. I've been at war with myself and I can't see the end of it still, so his story has been a great inspiration and his artistry a life lesson. Thanks Vogue, be happy Robbie.
I hope you are okay, please speak to someone and channel your mind to the positives, keep things simple dont overload your mind, reflect on the things that bring negativity and there trigger points, so you know things to move away from. I wish you happiness and calm.
Robbies struggle with his mental health has been one of the longest I've seen from a public figure, and I'm amazed at his resilience and how far he's made it. Can't imagine how hard it must have been to endure the press and the pressure of his level of fame for all that time, whilst also fighting so many inner demons. I'm glad he's still here and I'm glad he's finding his peace. Have always been a fan, and will always be.
I adore Robbie, always have done. When he said “I was sober but really depressed” it resonated with me immensely. I’m almost 10 years sober but unfortunately am battling hideous depression….topped off by having COVID too…yay. 😳 Thankfully I’m hopeful that it will pass. Thank you Robbie for your honesty, kindness and transparency regarding your recovery.
That happened to me for the longest time too, I learnt that giving up the substance isn't enough, therapy for learning to live happily without them is needed. You can do it!!
same. I remember being in school when that video he made where his skin is gone or something like that. It was very different back then. How I miss the 90's!!
I was in love with Robbie and his songs as a teenager for all the wrong reasons. Now I see someone who made it through some of the same struggles I have been going through in my life, and I’m so happy to see someone who learned how to manage mental health struggles and got through to the other side. Keep it up, Rob. ❤
What a GREAT person to interview! Robbie interviews so well- he just gives of himself so openly, always entertaining, incredibly honest about his highs and lows, very down to earth. He was my favourite in Take That, and he’s still on my fantasy dinner party guest list! Amazingly attractive person.
How I've loved him for 26 years, and he just keeps getting better. I had the pleasure of seeing him live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1999. I stood about 3 feet from the front of the stage, and it's still one of the best experiences I've ever had. The US really missed out on him, but it was lucky for me that night.
2003 was bitter sweet for me. I was 40 and I was at Knebworth, a show that could never be topped in my opinion, it was electric on a high vibration. A few weeks later my lovely Dad passed away and of course Angels was the obvious choice for me. That song helped us grieve and helped us come out the other side. Now this song 19 years later help caterpult my daughter into winning two major UK athletic titles and dedicated her routine to my Dad and Mum and all of the friends who have passed since. Not depressing, uplifting and spiritually has helped MANY people. You're a cheeky chappy Robbie, but I SEE you and I'm so glad your life is aligning with your soul purpose Xx
I seriously think Robbie should read childrens story books on tv..he would be brilliant. Lovely soft voice and he has kids....he could sing at the end and children would love him.
I was a teenager when He played knebworth… and I was blind about his struggles, I just loved him for how was giving his all to everybody there. Now 16 years later, that I know how he felt back then, and that I have also struggled with not so nice things in life, I am just really happy to see him like this and the wise man he has become!
There's something about someone that knows himself too well not to take everything so seriously. That's Robbie. And that makes him a pleasure to listen to.
In the 90s I was much more alternative/Indy/grunge, but even though I didn’t like Take That, I adored Robbie. He was more rock n roll. He was and is human, vulnerable, rebellious and also my late Dad sang with him on a TV show once so I’m a bit biased I guess 😂. Fabulous interview, Vogue!
@@ManubibiWalshthe guy in glasses standing behind Robbie at 02:23 in the following video. ua-cam.com/video/rFjKNsKV9V0/v-deo.htmlsi=-a84MpxwRD79Ipfl He was a semi-professional barbershop singer called Peter Dawson. He passed away in 2008. This was his ‘15 minutes’ of fame😂.
I am not a fan of Robbie music but must say what a interesting human being, definitely an individual, so so British in his speech and behaviour. Love his personality
Loved rob since I was 15 Iam 45 now and I still love him ❤️ even put my name Williams as my second name when I got fan club mail in the 90s lol . Glad your happy Robbie , wish you all the best .
This came up in my recommended. I'm not much of a fan of anyone really, my taste is way to eclectic, but he really drew me in. Loved this interview, much appreciated, especially since he mentioned hating to visit the past. He's very good at telling anecdotes, and is doing his song justice: he is a great entertainer! Thank you for this fun and pleasant interview!
Dear Mr. Robert Williams, I am so incredibly happy that you are the man you are (and haven't died in your dark days, thankfully - I was seriously worried). You (or at least the version of you we get so see publicly) seems to content, balanced, funny, happy and authentic. Plus I think you haven't peaked yet! Always a Thatter ♡♡♡
Saw him at Knebworth. Admittedly I wish I could say it was Oasis at Knebworth but, to his credit, Robbie absolutely rocked it - not many artists could have owned a crowd that big and he had them in the palm of his hand.
My mind is so stuck in the early 2000s, I miss it. A time I understood and recognised, so when I see the singers I use to love nowadays I'm always shocked to see they've got older haha we all have but it's still an odd concept to me
Really enjoyed that too Robbie. You are so honest about how you felt at every stage, it’s eye opening, to realise you are just like the rest of us, with insecurities too. Thank you.x💕😇
Robbie was always my fav out of TT, and when he broke away I was sad, but his music releases that followed were amazing. If he had stuck with TT we wouldn’t have had his brilliant music. He’s such a rare chap in show biz, honest, open, delicate, kind, talented, funny and above all that a gentle-man. His struggle with nerves (and life) hasn’t stopped him, but the ways he’s had to cope just goes to show he didn’t always take the best path, but he didn’t give up. He’s received lots of negative comments over the years; don’t worry Rob, they are just jealous, as you’ve had, and have a great career and they’ve not. Keep doing what your doing as it’s great. Love to you and your lovely family from good ole Blighty.❤
Interesting about him feeling self conscious on stage. And yes, you would, wouldn't you? The ending with the loose stringed tiger pants was making me smirk, haha 😄😋
Sound to see you happy mate. At the end of the day we are all humans and we all feel the same sometimes through life being famous or not. You have entertained over the years mate.
I never understood why he got so much hate here in the UK 🇬🇧 at one point, everyone goes off the rails in their lives at some point. Robbie is a national treasure here in the UK and always will be.
Robbie is the interview gift that keeps on giving. What a GEM. Ask him about everything, anytime, British Vogue! Have him come in again.
Robbie is such a breath of fresh air with his humility candor and humor. A real treat ❤
💯
Great on Strictly Come Dancing last sunday , his singing was mellow and lovely
❤

Robbie really is such a great story teller, so honest and funny and unabashed. I think I'll watch this interview twice!
i was a teenage girl at his peak, and I remember loving his music while being blind to his struggle. Today I reflect on that and I appreciate him as an artist and as a survivor from his own war. I've been at war with myself and I can't see the end of it still, so his story has been a great inspiration and his artistry a life lesson.

be happy Robbie.
Me too, I was 11 years and I Loved Robbie now I am 41. 😊
I hope you are okay, please speak to someone and channel your mind to the positives, keep things simple dont overload your mind, reflect on the things that bring negativity and there trigger points, so you know things to move away from.
I wish you happiness and calm.
Please heal
Never knew Robbie had such an adorable personality. Only knew his music. What a gem.
it has! ^_^
This was my favorite ever done to date - kudos for his transparency, humor, and humility

You'll get through it. Well done on your decade! If you can do that you can do anything.
Hang in there! Sun always comed after the rain 🙏
Good luck to you. I don't normally say this but you're very handsome!
❤
That happened to me for the longest time too, I learnt that giving up the substance isn't enough, therapy for learning to live happily without them is needed. You can do it!!
This is the best most honest raw and vulnerable breakdown of looks. Much appreciated!
From my humble home town. Love how humble he is and the fact that he doesn't forget his roots! He's a great storyteller too. Loved his anecdotes.
My favourite Life In Looks! I appreciated his honesty and got emotional at the nostalgia.
Agree
I was a teenage girl back then, but just NOW I am falling in love with him. Great that he stayed so funny, real and grounded.
same. I remember being in school when that video he made where his skin is gone or something like that. It was very different back then. How I miss the 90's!!

I smiled the whole way through this. There's just something great about him that we all feel. It's incredible!
I will never stop crushing on Robbie Williams

Robbie is one of the greatest entertainers of the last 30 years ❤
Robbie is a born entertainer ❤ utmost respect

So honest and humble

Same. I was Mainly a Guns n’Roses, The Manics, Prjmal Scream, Blur, Suede, Pulp, Echobelly, Radiohead fan etc. but loved all genres.
Take That had some good songs. Who was your dad?
Who was your dad? 😮

One of the greatest National treasures we have. much loved is our Rob! I think he is a superb human being!
Robbie needs to be on the Ask a Legend segment. I’m sure there are so many people want to ask him questions
I always love his personality, so charismatic and the early 2000 videos are the best ⚡️

Loved watching that, especially that 2012-2022 would have been a love letter to Gary B. That's what life long friends do.
First time I was interested in looking at one of this series - he did entertain me 🤩
Saw him at Knebworth. Admittedly I wish I could say it was Oasis at Knebworth but, to his credit, Robbie absolutely rocked it - not many artists could have owned a crowd that big and he had them in the palm of his hand.
I saw both. I wouldn’t say Oasis were better
I love this man and his anecdotes, on my country this kind of person, we call "loco lindo"
Waiting for The Graham Northon show this Friday then ;)
Great to Robbie as he is now...Happy with Wife and children xx
he is almost 50 but everytime he giggles he looks 16. amazing

Saw him performing at The O2 a couple of days ago. Incredible! The best artist!
Robbie is a treasure.
Points to the production team for making this video look as good as it does
I never understood why he got so much hate here in the UK 🇬🇧 at one point, everyone goes off the rails in their lives at some point.
